Didn't work for me. The get the game links were unclickable. I was really hyped that someone found a workaround too. Back to upgrading one of my old xp laptops with the W8 keycode I never used on my desktop so I can then upgrade to W10. The W8 upgrade keeps failing "to connect to the internet" although I am clearly connected.

 
Fallout 4 companion spoiler

If you like Hancock as a companion, take care of him. I sent him away, he got attacked by Raiders and literally died at my feet as he was walking to Sanctuary Hills. Didn't they say companions couldn't die? Ah well, had to go back 20 minutes to my last save.
 
Anyone playing BC games on the One, are achievements popping properly? I'm about to start playing Gears 1 on my X1 and I'm praying there's no issues with the Insane achievement.

I mean Spike will crap on Yu Suzuki, Yuji Naka and others because those gamemakers don't espouse American machismo.

Turns out I already had Geometry Wars 3 so all I bought was Ass Creed 3 and Halo 4. Wallet is at $5.10.

Did someone say something about Cyber Monday deals?  Hope one of them is for Gears of War 2 (for $5.10 or less of course).

I couldn't get the games or apps to work and didn't look at music or movies. I looked at my profile and my devices and saw that my xbox one wasn't listed. I registered it. I tried games and apps again, but couldn't get them still and apps I already have didn't reflect it. I went to music and was able to download albums, but it was a PITA. You guys should check to see if your One is registered on your microsoft account maybe?

Also does Midnight Club Games on Demand have all dlc or is it a vanilla version?

 
Regarding Batman: Arkham Knight - The November and December season pass content adds in-game missions.  So rather than Prologue or Epilogue, or Challenge rooms....the newest DLC content is literally baked into the game itself.

Having never played any of Arkham Knight, I'm curious to hear opinions.  Does this content improve the narrative/experience of the game?  Is it just filler?

....I got the game for Steam with an Nvidia pack-in a while ago - and picked up the season pass on a sale....heard the horror stories of getting it to work on computer; wondering how the gameplay itself turned out.

It doesn't. I bought one a few months back and it comes with no DLC, just the physical stuff. There's an unboxing video with a woman dressed like Lara Croft that shows what's included. None of it is worth it, honestly. I hoped it would at least come with Golden Weapons, because of the box cover, but it contains only what is shown in the video for it.

The video can be confusing because it shows the PS4 version, which does come with the DLC.

unless you're a completionist/achievement whore, there is no reason for you to buy the season pass. Absolutely none. I only paid $10 for mine (used some Best Buy credit to bring the price down), and thats probably what its actually worth. There's a bunch of "Arkham Episodes" that last about 20-30 minutes each and they dont really add much, if anything, to the story. Also, if you hated racing in the Batmobile, you should probably stay away from the SP as well, as they added in so many goddamn racing achievements it started to feel like Forza Knight: Gotham Horizon for a second.

 
Question on Xbox Card Activation:

I purchased five $25 Xbox cards at a local retailer (Fred Meyer).

The checkout guy scanned the first card, then scanned it again four more times.  ....He never actually scanned the other four cards.

I know that cards have to be "activated by retailer."  The cards themselves were behind the counter.  Were they already "activated"...?  Or, by not scanning the individual cards themselves when he sold them to me, are four of the five cards not activated?

Where this gets confusing is I actually bought multiple sets of five $25 cards at two different local Fred Meyer stores.  I don't want to redeem all of the cards now.  But I certainly don't want to run into a problem two months from now if I go to redeem them then.  (I'm undecided if I will give a card or two to my two Xbox buddies for Christmas.)

i havent played any of the series either, but i did buy the gs bundle they had awhile back that was the combo back that came with all the dlc on disc, so its part of my backlog. if your interested in the series just start with one of the old ones that has all teh dlc on disc , heard their ok but cheap enough used to try out

People give the Season Pass shit because of the normal price, but it is a LOT of content. Sure the missions aren't terribly long, but there are many of them. And more skins, racing tracks and challenge rooms than most people will ever use.

Yes, the story missions might be underwhelming - although I really think the Batgirl one is quite meaty, with lots of new stuff and a completely unique environment. The rest add some new ways to do things with different characters, and some story dialog that expands on the lore. Just compare most of them to the length of the Harley Quinn content most people got for an idea of what they are like.

And as I understand it, the final Story DLC will involve several new villains in new Most Wanted quests added to the main game. It will include people like Mr. Freeze, Ra's Al Ghul, etc.

The Season Pass isn't worth $40, but if you like the game and Batman in general, it is worth the current sale price.

I never could find any Golden Crisp w/ coupons, and I'm sure I would have immediately bought xbl credit, but it's still getting in my way that they could be $20. Also, F U m$ and selling digital codes cheaper than your digital marketplace.

I personally love Blood Bowl, but it is not for everyone as I have loved the tabletop game for many years now. It's a digital turn based strategy boardgame with quite a bit of depth and a ton of replay value if you have friends that enjoy playing. It has very light RPG elements(character upgrades over campaign) but dont think you are getting Mutant League or NFL Blitz style play. $30 is a lot cheaper than making your own tabletop team and you get every team ever released I believe.

 
Didn't see this posted, but the Complete Edition of the Crew is just $20 on Xbox Digital Store. Gets you the Crew, Season Pass and The Crew Wild Run. Not a fantastic game, but $20 for a ton of content seemed like a good deal. 

 
I wish I could have played the Wolfenstein games. Played for 15 minutes and I got extremely nauseous. Tried again later and same thing. Only other game that ever happened during for me was Shadow Warrior.

Shadow Warrior is so good! Actually just finished it two days ago lol after being in the backlog for so long. So fun and can't wait for the 2nd one.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun the hour I was able to stomach playing it. I don't know what it is with FPS games like those two. The way the character moves makes me dizzy as fuck.
