That's not true at all. Sure, if you run straight into the action like a buffoon you're going to die, but honestly, you deserve to if that's your only tactic. There are plenty of low-level people playing BF4, and with premium you get a ton of maps and unlocks to start. Find a friendly server you like with people that aren't douches and you can have a good time.
 
you guys and your assumptions. Battlefield 4 for sure has hardcore players but there are plenty of noobs and average skill guys running around as well. It's a 64 man rumble so even if you play like dog shit, nobody will really notice since one monkey don't stop the show.

With how often deluxe edition's go on sale over just stand alone season pass sales, XBox is really going out of the way to tell me "Hey, don't buy this day one."

 
I've been waiting for Sunset Overdrive to go on sale on a price that reflects how long the game has actually been out for.

...I'll be waiting some more. I used to own the game and finished it, I want to own it again so I can play the DLC but I'm not totally sure $33.49 is worth it to play DLC.

 
The best way to game now is to stop buying. Play your backlogs and wait for cheap GOTY versions or 75% off sales. Playing the newest games makes no sense anymore. They are all just broken messes with price drops weeks away. Good games will be good games in a year. This is true even for multiplayer games.

 
I ordered Titanfall.  I've never played it, and I don't know if I'll like it or be good at it, or if there's even people on the servers anymore, but $5.

I was just about to post this too. At this point, we find out the next day's deal around noon-ish the day before, and it's one game on each system. Everything in the weekly deals that I want is already bought, received as a Christmas gift, or previously owned.

The daily deals are mostly weak sauce and depressing. The only way it can be worse is if they reveal next week's weekly deals, and they're all fitness games to go along with the crap shoot annual exercise equipment sales that the brick and mortar stores put out.

Save us the misery, and just put up the remainder of the deals, so we can get back to gaming.

These sales really suck for the most part, i seriously hate myself for spending $35 on GTAV. Sure, it is a FANTASTIC game, but its been out for a VERY long time (On 360 and PS3 that is). But i do not like discs anymore, so i guess going all digital means you get screwed with no lube on these prices.

Great game, a phenomenal price, and still has significant numbers. Usually hovers around 4000 or so.

The parkour changes a lot I feel, but I know I'm weird :p But I don't know, I got to rank 50 in MW2 just because of friends but just wasn't having much fun. Either way if someone likes MW or not, I'd say it's worth giving it a go for the price at least.

 
MW2 best online experience of all time only game I got legit 10th prestige in (might do it in blops3) and had over 33 says played DLC felt like gods gift for that game because I loved it so much. Man back when DLC was just getting largely popular and not required like 75% games today

Isn't that pretty much every COD game though?

I mean, don't get me wrong, there are some decent gaming communities out there that play Call of Duty, and more power to them. But my experience has been that if you aren't in on the very first week of release of a new game in the Call of Duty series, you probably aren't going to experience the game on a "level playing field", where everyone is the same grunt level, and just getting the hang of things.

It's not just limited to Call of Duty. Any multiplayer competitive FPS game out there seems to suffer from the "elite skeet" group of people who, for whatever reason, feel the need to hunt for and share exploits and glitches, and generally make the game unenjoyable or unplayable for the rest of us. Call of Duty is just the most prevalent example of this.

I pretty much went from "can't we just play the game and enjoy it?", to "I just won't play". And that's pretty sad, because some of the games out there, without the trolls, glitches, cheaters, griefers, kill spammers, and elite skeets; would actually be quite fun to play.

There were tons of GOTY editions last gen as publishers found a way to keep games on shelves for longer at higher prices.

For $30, you could've gotten Battlefield 4 and a bunch of other EA games to play for the next year with an EA Access sub so you don't need to buy another EA game ever again.

 
MW3 was the first one that did MP stuff server side which made it a lot harder for hackers.

If youre going to play tiatan fall I'd suggest doing it sooner rather then later. Once tf 2 cones out it will take players from tf1. It's a fun multiplayer. The campaign is no exisitant and since its not contuious you won't know what's going on. I played it just to get achievements but has much more fun once I just stopped playing the campagin.
