Wow. Lots of games this week. I think I heard QBert on PC came out shitty, so if this is the same one I wouldn't expect much. May have to check out Unravel with all the praise it keeps getting, but will probably try the trial first. Also have the DL seasons pass on PS4 from the GS glitch so looks like I'll be getting the Following there.

I have Qbert on my PS3, and it's not bad. There are only so many ways that they could possibly try to improve on the gameplay. Hop around, change colors, avoid enemies - it's a pretty simple game at its core, so the update isn't much different than the original game. If you like the original arcade, it's more of the same.

Yep! But they fix a lot of what Scratch did at the end of American Nightmare. I'm excited to see how they do they next game. I'm kind of hoping they focus a little more on the crazy shit going on at the edges of the town. I'd like a spinoff game at some point dealing with the other weird crimes that the sheriff mentions in the first game.

Hmmm, I'm tempted on NFS rivals. Doesn't seem like a bad price.

I'm an unashamed and vocal Alan Wake nut and Spy's one sentence description is pretty much spot on. American Nightmare is cool, but brief. The repeat scenarios can be annoying, but in the end the story made it work, I thought. The horde mode is good and I still wish I had spent more time with it, it was just screaming to let Barry in and play co-op. For story reasons, that wouldn't work, but still, it would've been fun.

AM is worth playing just for one of the more fun gaming villains in recent memory with Mr. Scratch.

I'm pretty excited for this, I loved the first one. I would've bought it even without the announcement of an actual campaign but it's a definite plus. On the other hand I'm not so sure about the TV show they're in talks about.

Thanks. It says you are limited to 3 (though the discount only applies to a purchase of 2, there's no discount on the 3rd). However, if you buy them in different orders, you can buy as many discounted pairs as you want. I had about $200 in reward certs so picked up $300 in XBL credit for my digital collection.

I'm curious if It's because MS hasn't got permission yet or they are really worried about performance. Outside of customization your character crashing in Tekken Tag it worked flawlessly. RDR was acceptable. Alan Wake seemed to run better then the 360 version except for the cutscenes.

Either way It's kinda lame but whatever.

 
I have looked this up but i still don't get it exactly: I'm getting a 2nd X1 and want to be able to share my downloadable games with that system. Mostly I'll just be using the 2nd one for the surround sound and Rocksmith so if that's the case, I just need to add my acct to the 2nd system right? Now if for some reason my daughter and I want to play something at the same time with both systems I'd need to do that whole setup with each system being labeled the "home" Xbox for game sharing? Ugh, so confused.
 
This whole "released as they're ready" approach to BC games seems like it's already causing frustrations for everybody. I feel like they really should've taken some time to get this worked out because they've turned a significant advantage over Sony into a mess.

It was a loophole that should have been spotted before considering It's been around for awhile. Definitely Microsoft's fault here.

But this gives nothing to Sony because they are still charging you for PSNow and the PS2 "remasters" are costing you dollars rather then using your own old disc.

Microsoft has the advantage ultimately as BC costs you nothing once the game goes BC.

Of course MS owns me because I end up buying the game digitally anyways lol.

I think some of it, ignoring performance issues, has to do with licensed music.
