Actually I'm going to pass on the handsome collection until I actually play the first one. By that time, Handsome Collection will be about $5 lol. Never played a Saints Row game really, apart from the one that was a GWG for the 360. I think it was part 3. I never got into the campaign but I played something like a horde mode, that was utterly ridiculous lol. Started one level with a 3 foot dildo and was killing people with it. I think I'm in for SR4 bundle and the Metro Bundle

That's why I have a spreadsheet on OneDrive with all of my XBO games and most of my 360 games.

I use an Excel sheet now. It lists my Digital GoD, XBLA and DLC purchases, otherwise I would be completely lost.

Any 360 purchases can be tracked here, and you can see all* your non-free purchases here. I don't know of any way to track your xbox one purchase history for free items, e.g. GwG.

*Pretty sure this shows 360, x1, pc, and mobile.


I also recommend keeping a spreadsheet. It's a huge pain getting it started, but pretty easy to keep updated once you have a format you like.

I'm thinking by non-free, it excludes to trials, demos, trailers etc. GwG are still full games that have value. We're just 'buying' them at 100 percent discounts.

No. The first link I posted tracks all 360 purchases, which includes trials, dlc, free games, etc.

The second link is for your whole microsoft account, but it only shows transactions where money/credit is actually exchanged. I don't have any pc or mobile purchases, but I believe they are included as well. Again, nothing purchased for $0.00 will show up there.

I just use a google spreadsheet to keep track.

Sure the xbox.com "my games" list is there but I rather have a text list than have to deal with xbox.com's website just to see my digital titles.

Moxi's Underdome is a pain in the butt. That is one of the DLC's I keep telling myself I am going to try to complete. I did complete one of the big arenas and it was very painful. Still I love the game so much and I have this rule that if I really like a game I work on unlocking all of the achievements.

Quick question - Does Bioshock 2 make a huge difference to the story?

I already finished the story of Infinite and recently obtained the first one (but have not played). I plan to buy the Season Pass of Infinite to play the Burial at Sea expansion after I play the first one. Am I missing out on a lot if I do skip 2?

 
Bioshock 2 is one of my all time favorites. It's a quality game that surpasses the original in story and play. I enjoyed BS I but of the three BS 2 with the DLC is amazing.

It is, I think, 30 rounds of hordes and the more people you have, supposedly the tougher it gets.

I read somewhere that having a lower level teammate makes the game spawn lower level enemies, but, I have never seen that.

I have tried solo-ing it a few dozen times.

After round 15/18, it gets tiresome.

Doesn't sound up my alley. I'll give the game a shot, but I tend to back off from the more hardcore things like that. I've become such a wimpy gamer from where I used to be when I was a kid.

Nope. You can safely skip 2 if you want. The original creator had nothing to do with it.

Not a bad game though. The Minerva's Den DLC is actually the best part of it, so if you're willing to dump some extra money into it, it may be worth a look.

Minerva's Den was actually better than the main campaign. Awesome DLC.
 
I would suggest playing Bioshock 2. I thought it was really good, and while it may not be as awe inspiring as the first it has very good gameplay, and the story is still pretty cool

And I thought the multiplayer was a lot of fun. Not sure how it would hold up today, but the powers combined with the guns was novel at the time.

I've tested this with a 2nd controller with a new profile and yes it does work. Makes it so much easier but what a pain to do all the arenas. I think I still have one left to do but I'm burned out after grinding the other arenas.

 
I had never heard of replay until today but it looks like it's right up my alley. Reagan Gorbachev on the other hand looks so dumb but I still kind of want it anyway.

I bought it, thanks to Stan of vgFaces giving me PayPal money and a CAG selling the code for $15, so "on sale" and nothing out of pocket. Played one match with my wife, who hated it. I thought it was alright. I'll give it more of a shot tonight, but I can already tell I'm not going to relive some of the "and then I saw it was 4 AM!" posts from some of y'all.

So, you either convinced me or I just felt pressured to not miss out on something. We'll see.

I might have actually liked Bioshock 2 more than 1. Neither should be skipped. Bioshock 2 seemed to get punished unfairly like a lot of sequels do just by nature of being a sequel with similar mechanics, settings, etc.

Yeah I'm still kind of on the fence with it myself (I did purchase it right away due to all the praise). I have a feeling since I'm not willing to put hours and hours into "getting good" at it I may not think too much of it in the long run.

That said, even not wanting to be a untouchable pro, it's chaotic fun with friends if you've got other people into it.

I thought it was a lot better than 1 tbh. The gameplay was much more polished (most people seem to agree on this) and personally I thought the story with Delta and Eleanor Lamb was more interesting than what was going on in 1. I even liked the multiplayer. The only thing 1 has over 2 imo is the novelty of the setting.

Agreed. I loved the setting so much that it was still novel in 2. I'm a sucker for those kinds of somewhat recent "historical" settings for some weird reason (especially 1930's to 1950's). 2 could have really shot itself in the foot if the basic protagonist had been the same (avoiding very basic spoilers here), but the change made it fresh enough that it was worth a second game with a twist in who you play as. Multiplayer is also pretty unique, but if you try it now, it will be absolutely brutal. Some diehards on there for sure and I don't think it's real friendly to newcomers from what I recall.

I liked it because the maps were small, and with bullets and powers flying everywhere, it was super fast-paced and chaotic. A novice player can still get in the mix, get a few kills and have a good time. Unlike Battlefield or something where unless you have the map memorized, you're wandering around lost and getting shot by snipers a million miles away. (At least that's what I end up doing lol.) Even got my gold bunny mask for reincarnating, although admittedly that involved a fair amount of boosting in addition to playing normally.

I think a big problem for a lot of reviewers is that at the end of the first game you get in a Big Daddy suit, and you move super slow but it's only for like 10 min before the game ends. Then in the sequel you play the whole time in a prototype Big Daddy that moves at normal speed (which I understand from a gameplay perspective), but isn't it supposed to be a prequel? Same problem as Star Wars where prequel technology is better than the original "future" tech.
 
I think people just expected more of the flashy twists and reveals and dorm-room philosophizing from 1, and instead they got a straightforward story about how parents influence their children. Which to me was more meaningful. And I don't mean to come across like I hate BioShock 1-- I like Christopher Nolan as much as the next nerd. But not every videogame needs to be like that.

 
So did everyone else spend every waking hour (and a few snoozing hours) playing The Division Beta over the weekend?

Got a message from Live saying "We took action on one or more of your reports". Who got the woopass now? (Why can't more companies let you know they actually did something?)
