Nah, as mentioned it was just the plain 360 version. Still I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up as GwG. They do love to double dip and offer the same games in 360 and One versions on GwG.

They did it with Tomb Raider, The Walking Dead, Thief, Castlestorm, and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

I think we are about due for another Square Enix GwG. :)

I still think Murdered: Soul Suspect will be on there.

Couldn't resist changing my gamertag again. I'm not sure if it was a coincidence but the gamertag (Arya Stark) showed up as error for a few hours on https://xboxgamertag.com/ before I finally saw it become available. Here are some other names that also show up like that: Jon Snow, The Hound, Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Game of Thrones, and Best Buy.

Call of Duty BO used was $9.99 the other day.  Now $17.99.  There is a combo pack for 1 and 2 for the same price.

Crazy how it shot up in value.  For $9.99 I rather have it digital anyway.

If you backed Mighty No. 9 on Kickstarter and are eligible for a digital copy of the game, surveys are being sent out to (re)pick the platform you want. Even if you filled out a survey for a digital copy before (I received a survey for this last July), those results are apparently being disregarded. When I saw the game was up for pre-download on the marketplace, I checked to see if backers would get codes early to pre-download as well, and some comments in the "Gone Gold" blog post mentioned that since not everyone received survey notices before, those results are being tossed and a new survey would be sent.

Please note it says it may take a few days for everyone to receive their survey notices. The blog post was made a couple days ago (after a botched first attempt), and I received my survey notice early this morning.

I just listen to Octane on Sirius. :) I get the same deal every time. 5 months for $20. Every 5 months, I call them up to "cancel" and they give me the same deal for 5 more months.

If the idea of taking time to methodically plan out ways to creatively assassinate targets appeals to you, you'll like it. If you aren't in to stealth games, you definitely won't. I bought the new Hitman when it was on sale and have loved it so far. Your mileage will depend on how much you're willing to replay levels to complete challenges, etc., though. As far as the earlier titles go, I can't really say how much you may like them. I bought the HD collection a few years ago and played a bit but they didn't grab me at the time. I'll revisit them now that I've enjoyed the new one so much, though.

yeah that tends to be how it goes

either play them from the beginning to enjoy the progression of the mechanics or stick to newer titles and don't go back

not huge into stealth games but they are a popular franchise so I may get them just for the collection

the videos I watched looks like it could be fun

Unless you are planning to go as Skin Paint Cortana, you'll fit in fine. Every year there are tons of cosplayers. Just don't be that person with a ten foot wide backpack accessory that tries to walk down nine foot wide booth hallways and wonder why everyone is giving you dirty looks.

I have never gone in costume beyond a themed t-shirt, but it looks like everyone who does is having fun in the years I have been going to Megacon.

The first time going out in public can cause some anxiety, but just try to be confident. Spanx are a better alternative than trying to wear a corset all day, and for the first time out you should go for shoes that are more comfortable than sexy. Also avoid overstuffing your bra, as will just draw a lot of attention and make it more difficult to pass.

I would guess that the rest of the "coming soon" 360 digital downloads on Amazon are coming to BC also.

That's the only reason I would see for MS releasing them that way at this point in the 360's life cycle.

You get the rocket powered wing suit in the DLC that carries over to the main game, and there are two more expansions coming as well, so yeah I'd definitely say get the XL Edition for that price.

Seems like it. If you go to the Amazon listing for digital codes coming up they have Burnout Revenge, Crackdown, Dragon Age 2, Fight Night Round 4, Skate 2 and Fable Anniversary though no playable on xbox one logo. For some reason they also added Lococycle (360) and Titanfall (360).

Halo 5 Forge is coming to PC by the end of the year. Have to wonder how much XBox One exclusives are left in the cards with Microsoft's new direction. Outside of Crackdown 3, Gears 4 and Scalebound. Not that I care because I rather play my games on consoles, but it leaves a lot more fuel for fire for the Sony and Nintendo camp.

 
For kickstarter backers, the Mighty No. 9: Official Platform Selection Survey went out today (check your email). I selected xbox one since I play it more and that there are always digital sales (humble bundle or eventually free). 

 
I would sell my unsealed JC3 (steelcase) to turn around and get that XL Edition... might not sell in time.

Watched the first few hours of Far Harbor DLC

That block building part took up most of the stream. Looks horrible. I hope they patch it out or make it optional by the time the DLC goes on sale.If you haven't played it yet, I hope you love block building.

I enjoyed it.

Its like comfort food. I knew exactly what I was getting - a choice-driven narrative with streamlined role-playing mechanics - it tasted enjoyable enough as I consumed it and was forgotten about a few days later.

Even the continuously recycled environments began to feel 'homey' after a while; like a walk with a friend around a neighborhood that never changes.

Don't believe the anti-anti-hype, it's trash. I replayed it last year, it was better than I remember, I assume from patches, but all the core problems are still there. Bad story, mostly bad characters, bad changes to the combat, repetitive dungeons. Somehow totally missing one party member, Isabela, did improve my experience though.

Not to totally trash Bioware though, they did listen to feedback even if they didn't directly acknowledge it before. Inquisition is much better.

 
I bought world at war because many many years ago I wanted to get it for the zombies and never got a chance

lots of fun and still holds up great imo
