I finally got to watch the Xbox Conference in peace after my kids are sleeping. I'm excited to own an Xbox!

I wrote notes of everything while watching.
- Open with Xbox One S - looks very cool, I won't buy one unless my Xbox one breaks. I don't see a reason for me to upgrade to this.
- Gears of War 4 - I'll probably pick this up around $20 from Best Buy.
- Killer Instinct new GoW fighter - might try him out for free but I'm not willing to spend money on this game.
- Forza Horizon 3 - will definitely grab this during its first big sale, I love having Horizon 2 digitally to jump to from time to time and this one looks fantastic.
- ReCore - neat game, will read reviews before buying but looks like something I would grab when it hits $20.
- Final Fantasy 15 - the boss fight seemed boring but if I had more time I would be into this game, however I don't have the time so I'll prob never play this.
- The Division DLC - not for me.
- Battlefield 1 - day 1 $48 GCU purchase for me but was weird to see the same trailer again.
- Features: Clubs, Looking for Group, Arena - excited to try them out.
- Minecraft Realms - not for me
- Xbox Design Labs Controllers - I really want to build 1 for me, my wife and my kids haha, I love this idea, just wish the price wasn't quite so high.

So I've been waiting since December to get Forza Horizon 2 standard edition on sale. Finally bought it over the weekend for $30 for a code on eBay & now it's $25 on Xbox Live. Yep, that's my kind of luck. LOL

Having both consoles, I personally enjoyed the Microsoft conference more. There aren't as many games that Sony showed that I would play I feel, I'm definitely excited for Horizon and will play the new Spider-Man though.

If that game had something like ghosts in racing games to give you combo ideas it would have been phenomenal. Without, both me and a friend I used to game share w/ were bored after a weekend. Just being on xb1 will help that tho, what with the ease of recording and broadcasting.

Bulletstorm was my favorite fps of last gen, besides Bioshock, but I don't really consider Bioshock a "shooter".


I'm 93% sure that Stick of Truth isn't a remaster, just a code for the bc game. Like they did with Fallout 3 and Dark Souls. I would love to be wrong about this though.

But it has a whole separate list of achievements and its own listing in the marketplace. The Ubisoft website also lists the game as being XB1 and PS4, and since PS4 doesn't have backwards compatibility, they must've ported it, I would assume... (I don't think it's a remaster either, just a port, but not a BC title...)

Anyone have news about Take-Two/Rockstar's plans for E3? I tried googling but all I got were old rumors about them showing up at E3 in a big way, whatever that means.

I was happy to see Sony had games this year. God of War looks decent and Horizon Zero Dawn looks amazing. Hopefully some of that is coming this year. I enjoyed Microsofts conference more but that's prob because I have an Xbox and not a PS4.
 
Folks are praising Sony's e3 pres. I mean there's a lot to praise. 'Mr. Fancy-pants' delivered a show with live orchestra, curtains and fancy theater getup, what?  this makes Xbox look like basement lumpsum dwellers although I liked their pres. Dishonored 2 and Minecraft part bored the shit out of me.  Anyhow I kinda wanna own ps4 now I mean new God of War, Days Gone - has an awful feeling of Last Of Us which I absolutely adore, ohh and new Spider Man game, hack even Detroit is quite a piece.

Sony delivered a lot of good shit.  I like it.

 
Bulletstorm was great. I had a great time with it. I laughed pretty hard playing that game. I finished it once and ment to go back and play it again. Trying to come up with different ways to kill people was fun.

I remember shooting a guy in the balls. He covered his junk with his hands I took off running and drop kicked him in the stomach. He flew back and flew into a cactus. He laid there complaining and it didn't kill him all the way.

He rolled off and started to get back up. I ran and dropped kicked him again and he went into a power meter and ended up frying him.

The only thing I could think of was wild bill on green mile.

You can attach an external drive to a new console even without using the same gamertag (it's just the games on there). You just won't be able to play them on another console unless there's an account signed in that owns the games (or the console you plug into is the home console for an account that owns the games).

There are no restrictions on moving the external drive around though.

 
So the Xbox One Smart Glass app was updated recently on ios. I was trying to figure this out myself but I can't locate it anywhere.

How do you search the store in the app now? How do you search anything on this app. It looks like the search function was removed.

I open to a first person Resident Evil. They've been doing interviews on Youtube for the Anniversary the last month or so and said how much they like doing Revelations and want to continue the series. I thought this was a bit odd at the time since they aren't that different, but it makes sense now. Plus have RE2 REmake coming too.

VII can't be worse than 6, so I'd rather see them experiment since we have other things on the horizon.

 
Just woke up to news about the Bulletstorm remaster. I'm at a loss for words. They seem to be going through my list of "can't wait until these are BC" games that I own and announcing a new remaster from that list every day. Was that game even big enough to warrant a remaster? Why? WHY? What was even the point of BC? Frogger?

Well, to be fair, Sony actually owns the license, so it is a little different. I gather it's not like they went and actually prevented Microsoft from having it like MS probably did with Square Enix. Still, your point is well taken.

Why put a time if they aren't sure? So it can be delayed and piss people off? I hate when companies put a release time and keep pushing it back. Rather news just releases suddenly saying "It will be dropping next month!"

Not sure if anyone else suggested it but with Dead Rising 4 on the horizon does this not guarantee a DR3 GwG the month before release? I hope.

That was my very first thought. Had it on release and sold it shortly after thinking "this is a launch title I will be able to snag it for dirt cheap later" and still have not been able to (digitally at least).
