Hoping aboard the "Blacklist was better than Conviction" train. I really enjoyed Blacklist. Basically that and Chaos Theory are the must-play Splinter Cell titles.
 
Does anyone here gameshare? The person that I'm gamesharing with (who may or may not be family) and I can't play the same games at the same time with the new dashboard. If I launch one game, and then he launches it, it crashes for both of us. Even if it's a game we both own. This was a problem that he and I had in the beta so we opted-out of it. They didn't fix it.

I'm honestly kinda appalled that DOOM wasn't marked down that low, even if with a trial of Gold, during this past summer sale. Especially since I didn't enjoy the game as much as I wanted to. Might just snag Evil Within, though. As much as I adore survival horror, I've been having trouble getting into that one for some reason.

Anyway, I got Doom at launch and absolutely loved it. I'm not sure if I want to sell my disc copy to get the digital one though, apart from the last achievements I'm not going to play it much more because the multiplayer wasn't as good as other games I own (Destiny, Halo, Overwatch). I haven't tried it after the big ID updates (they didn't make the multiplayer but decided to work on it after launch because lot of people complained, personally I found it fun).

About Fallout 4: don't, if you want an RPG. It's basically a pretty bad shooter with somewhat of RPG elements. Everything feels decent at best, and everything about the story and the world felt like nonsense. Still, if you want that Fallout feel, it's the only one you can get.

Anyway, yesterday I bought COD Black Ops 2 steelbook and Pokemon Heartgold, both used. I found a 30h save on HG of someone that didn't even finish the Johto part, filthy casuals.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but awhile back I was talking with someone in here about being able to uninstall DLC from games we no longer owned. Well you can now do so by going to settings>system>storage>Manage leftover add ons. Also could be preview only but I'm not sure.

I was having this issue earlier as well with overwatch. A friend and I who share were playing together and mine crashed and a few matches later hers did as well, but it was only the two times so we just ignored it. Hopefully it doesn't become an issue.

 
PSA if your interested in Wolfenstein Old Blood,  Major Nelson's blog says 50% off but the current markdown is 75%. May or may not get corrected. I bought it for $5.

Pretty much all the Tom Clancy games (though I specifically remember Future Soldier and Conviction) have been featured in marketing material for Xbone BC. I think Ubi's one of the few publishers 99% on-board with it, so buying these titles in the hopes of BC isn't a bad call.

Despite its incredibly low price, the Steam reviews for the game (launched a month or so ago) are abysmal.

However, it does offer 1000 GS.

Noticed that. People should definitely jump on it now just in case.

I also noticed that buying Fallout 4 and the Season Pass separately is $6 cheaper than buying the Deluxe Bundle..

Another mistake or is Bethesda trying to capitalize on morons? Wouldn't put it past them.

My copy of SC: Blacklist is still sealed as the day I bought it some two years ago. Got it for something like 20 bucks I think from an Amazon sale. I'll play it someday. I've loved the series ever since I played the first one on the OG Xbox a lifetime ago. I thought the first SC was the most graphically advanced game I ever played at that point. I remember I kept going back and forth through a curtain to see the cloth physics.

SC: Conviction isn't bad, and for 5 bucks I recommend it. Fun enough gameplay even though it was a departure from previous iterations. 

As for SC: Double Agent, why is it priced higher than SC: Conviction? It's probably closer to the old school SC gameplay but it is still an older game. Plus the 360 version of SC: DA was inferior compared to the OG Xbox version of SC: DA. Different story elements too.

Wolfenstein Old Blood is more than worth it for 5 bucks. Great old-fashined FPS gameplay.

I already bought Ghost Recon: Future Soldier last year when it was on sale. Yup, haven't played it yet.

EDIT: as a big Elder Scrolls Online fan, I'm happy to finally see 5500 Crowns on sale again for $24. Did they say how much that DLC bundle is going to cost? I don't have any of it and might be interested for sure.

As a former insider, I can say Major Nelson works off a spreadsheet sent by Marketing, and is only as correct as those who work in Marketing. In the old days (about 2 years ago), Marketing WAS in charge of pushing the updates, but now the Xbox Ops Center has taken back that job function, since Marketing was consistently screwing up the Marketplace update on a weekly basis. Now that the XOC is doing it, they're pushing the Marketplace update from the actual change orders, and the engineers there have a whole system to verify each others' work, so if you see a price or something get changed, it's probably because someone intended that price ... especially since price changes have to be verified & computed on a region/country basis.

With that said, I can't explain the massive screw-up of the "Fallout 4 Digital Deluxe" bundle going free, but that could've also been a mixup of internal communications. :lol:

Grabbed Old Blood for X1 this morning along with Metal Gear 2 and 3, Peace Walker and Rising: Revengeance for 360 before I left for work. Considering Guns, Gore & Cannoli for X1!
 
Just finished Telltale Batman, I liked it. It's a nice change to mainly focus on Bruce but still have detective & fighting scenes as the bat. Took me 2 hours to finish.

Performance was good....some slight drops but nothing severe like past telltale games. Transitions between scenes and dialog was really smooth.

 
If anyone is thinking about the Splinter Cell games, Conviction was about a dollar at GameStop. Not sure about the others. You won't find it for that price on their website.

I know I'm too late for the prize, but I had pizza last night, so I'll chime in.

Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Ovalini mozzarella, riccotta, goat cheese, meatballs, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives, green and red peppers, red onion, artichoke hearts, spinach, basil, arugula, and a pesto drizzle.

Ideally, it would have roasted eggplant, too, but beggars can't be choosers.
 
Off topic but you Xbox bros are pretty knowledgeable - have been playing nba 2k16 - all the sudden it stopped connecting to 2k server, I uninstalled and reinstalled, now the game won't even open, any suggestions or fixes?
