Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen seems interesting and the price is good at 75% off. Anyone want to recommend or advise against?

It will go to the backlog for now. I have been wanting to get a new openworld RPG similar to Skyrim. Witcher 3 has not got cheap enough for me to pick up. I am hoping Dragon's Dogma can tide me over until a heavily discounted Witcher 3 is available. 

 
I'll probably break down and buy Remember Me. It flew under my radar the first time it came out, but now I've learned more it seems like it's up my alley. Plus it probably won't be GwG since it isn't BC, and Capcom would probably make a remaster for :xb1: before it makes it BC. I have no issues playing it on :360: , especially for 6 bucks.

Still mulling over Lost Planet 2. I skipped that entire series because it looked uninteresting. It's cheap enough now though. Still can't decide.

Duck Tales looks well made and the buzz on it is good, but I have a sneaky feeling it will be GwG at some point.

This sale made me realize I don't have many Capcom games for the MS platforms.

 
How's the Wi-Fi connection on the regular XB1? I'm moving soon and debating where to put the main hub for the cable. The Xbox gets 220 down right now wired and I kinda want that for my PC instead.

I personally think it's a fun game with great combat. Just don't go into it with expectations of a Skyrim or a Witcher 3. This is far from a masterpiece but well worth playing for a hack n slash fan.
 
Strider digital code for $3.75 on Amazon. Any recommendations? Nostalgia factor is super high for me on this one and the short video I watched makes me want it just like Bionic Commando Rearmed....

I have them but never tried them on my XBox One. I believe though they are unpowered headphones that that point. I have a cheap PS4 wired headset that I use on my XBox One (via the 3.5mm jack) when I need to chat on my XBox One.

But I could try it tonight if you had specific question.

They work great with the PS4 and PS3. Simulated surround sound 7.1. Never tried to use them on PC though.

I have my XBox One in the basement and my wireless router is upstair in the living room. Almost directly below the router (not on the opposite ends of the house) and it seems to work fine. I do have an Ethernet cable down there but usually it is connected to my PS4. I had planned to put a small switch in but haven't dug it out of the junk bins yet. In the 6 months I have had the XBox One I haven't really felt the need. I haven't been playing competitive FPS though either.

Downloads fine, online play seems fine. No noticeable lag or anything.

I have played Ryse, Evil Within, Batman: Arkham Knight and Deadpool.

Batman was like 14 hours or so I think maybe a bit more. Ryse was like 7 or 8. I didn't care for The Evil Within so only played a couple of hours. Just started Deadpool yesterday and am on Chapter 7 of 8. Probably an 7-8 hour game. All assuming you just play the main story only.

Deadpool trades to Game Stop for $22 (with PUR) as of yesterday anyway. Want to finish it in the next few days and trade it. Decently fun. Seemed to lag a bit here and there. Graphics seem a bit dated in spots too but not too bad.

Out of the ones I played I liked Batman the best.

You just have to plug it into the stereo adapter or controller, right?

I've used the PS Gold headset on my X1 for a few years. They were very comfy and sounded great. They're connected to the X1 controller via cable (use the cable that came with the headset). Even though they have internal battery, I believe they're powered from the X1 controller. The only beef I had with them was that the mic tends to pick up the audio from the headset and send it out to my party or to my multiplayer team. I had to actively mute/unmute all the time.

 
I'm lost on how to do the Pandora background music thing. I'm trying to play Plants Vs Zombie Garden Warfare with Pandroa music playing in the background. MajorNelson's summer update shows him launching Pandora and then starting the game. When I do that, only the game launches with the regular game music/sounds. I can do the snap feature, but that's not full screen.

Are you a completionist or are you just looking to smash through the campaign just once in each game and be done with them?

I got 2000/2000 for Ryse (52 hours), 2000/2000 for Arkham Knight (85 hours), and 1000/1000 for Deadpool (24 hours). Haven't played Dying Light or Witcher 3 yet, but I know they're huge games. 60-80 hours for DL and easily 150+ for Witcher 3. Now if you're just looking to beat the games once and move on, you can probably cut all these times in half or more.

Basically YMMV like a mofo.

I don't know the game, but Warhammer has two "worlds" so to speak. The original Warhammer tabletop game was medieval, including orcs, lizard people, etc. They later came out with 40k. It's possible the game takes after the first world.

Yep there is Warhammer Fantasy(now known as Age Of Sigmar) and WH40K which as implied takes place roughly 40,000 years in the future. I know they are connected because there is lore writing out certain species/armies(Dwarves/Skaven that I have read).

I believe that update has yet to be pushed. Was coming soon the last time I check, which was when that video came out to explain it. How soon 'coming soon' is I have no clue. I'm also looking forward to that feature though.

But when using the stereo adapter, the headphones are stereo only, not (simulated) 7.1 surround sound. The documentation states this when explaining how to use the headphones with the Vita. (Seem obvious, but just thought I would point this out just in case).

Having no personal experience with the Gold Headset (which by deductive reasoning makes me an internet expert), I would imagine that the 7.1 SSS would only be an option for :ps4: and maybe :ps3: and possibly :pc: and nothing else.

Also, aren't there a lot of complaints about the Gold Headset being really flimsy?

I know that the 7.1 works on the :ps4: and :ps3:, haven't tried :pc:. Both :ps4: and :ps3: use the usb bluetooth adapter and the headphones are powered (internal battery). When they are connected using the stereo adapter, the headphones do not have to be turned on and are stereo only.

I got my pair fairly recent and was pleasantly surprised by the sound, comfort, and build quality. Only used them so far occasionally, so I don't know if there are any long term issues with them.

What do you guys think about Worms WMD? I'm thinking about pre-ordering it today but I'm not sold just yet , has anyone else preordered it ? Or is there a reason not to do it?

The SSS is only when you're using for PS. It's just stereo when used with the X1. As for it being flimsy, I didn't find it flimsy at all. I used it day in day out for 2-3 years. Never an issue.

The quality complaints have been with the Pulse Elite headset. There is some sort of plastic part on the side that tends to crack. Mine never cracked before I got rid of them, so I don't know much about how bad the issue is. Also, the Silver headset is supposedly fairly cheap and flimsy, so you might be thinking of that one. The Golds are pretty nice quality - especially for the price.
