Man I might have to get all that even with FH3 less than a month away. I've been kicking myself for not getting Storm Island when it was $5 way back when and was starting to think it wouldn't get there again.

What do people think I can get for FH2 digital code for 360? I picked up a replacement Xbox 360 at the target sale and I'm guessing FH1 will be good enough for me come the first..

I'm not a huge NASCAR fan but I enjoyed it (I paid $20). I was really itching for more Forza.

I'm trying to decide if I should buy the Porsche pack for FH2 even though I will be finishing up FH1 when that goes GWG and will be getting FH3 on release day. Who am I kidding, I will buy it but I would rather the Porsche pack for FM6 was on sale.

The other day some one had posted about preordering resident evil 4. 20.00 and you get 15.00 back in rewards. Does anyone know any other games like this. I'd rather put my space bucks to that and get 15.00 back instead of these weak sales.

You can already get the games for really, really, really cheap at just about any used game store on Xbox 360. If you don't have an Xbox 360, you can also get those for really, really, really cheap at just about any used game store.

I just played Rainbow Six Vegas 1+2 today. R6 Vegas 2 stutters like crazy on BC :( But there were a lot of players! Over a good hundred.

Speaking of which there was a insane amount of players on Reach. It was near 7k earlier.

You have to pre-order at the Microsoftstore for the $10 bonus. You get $15 if you have an xbox rewards account.

As far as I know, it works for any xbox one pre-order.

I'd say the NASCAR expansion is worth no more than $10, especially compared to the Porsche expansion.

Porsche added a bunch of new cars and a new track (VIR) with 11 different circuits. NASCAR added a bunch of skins to pretty much a single car and a new track (Miami Homestead) with only 2 circuits. But it is fun bombing a stock car around Silverstone and Spa all day. All the good stuff about the NASCAR pack was included in a title update (rolling starts and pit stops).

As a 41 year old who loves animated movies, I thought Up was really good. I haven't seen the Good Dinosaur though, so can't comment.

 
Is the Gears Of War Ultimate Edition Deluxe Version $20 worth it vs the day one? All you get is skins for multiplayer right? I'm thinking of replacing my disk version with the day one version. Not sure if i should just wait for a cheaper price as $10 is pretty low already. Suggestions? 

 
Random thoughts without quoting:

Ubisoft server closures:  Thought someone had posted about that already.  They are just old games with noone playing online anymore.  It is strange that some sequels are being shut down before earlier games though.  Now that I'm not working all the time I think I'll resurrect my old Xbox server closures thread.  It may be getting more use.

FH6 NASCAR:  I'm tempted, but I think I can wait for a lower price.  Thanks for the comments on it.

CoD sale:  How is it that CoD Classic is not included and has never dropped below $10?

A Wipeout game is 90% off at $5.  Worth it?

Bundlestars sent an email that includes an 85% off sale on Castle of Illusion stating that it will no longer be available on September 2nd.  Looks like a license thing like someone else posted.  Also, that's the way you close it out.  Take note, MS.

Be sure to go through the tutorials first. I know a lot of people like to skip those, but you'll have a very hard time adjusting to the game without them. If you're looking for an intense, gigantic, beautiful space exploration game, you won't regret your purchase.

On a different note: Is it worth it to take advantage of this week's sales to get some of the Gears of War titles? I've held off on playing them because I only own GoW2 and Judgment, but the new one looks interesting. Would I be confused jumping between titles?

Wrong. They are shutting down the Ubisoft services for the games. They can't shut down the multiplayer servers because they run on Xbox Live serviers.

I'm a preview member and that app with the "P" icon does not download at all for me. Weird that they'd create a separate app and that it won't even work.

I have them already for the 360 on disc. Wish they would've just made them BC instead of a bad port. I'm considering just getting it for the fact that I'm too lazy to buy the discs and switch them up (plus my cousin who I game share with can play too).

Your just missing out on weapon skins in the ultimate edition. I don't multilayer enough to use them, so I opted for the day one.

You are mistaken, sir. I have quite a few older 2K Sports games for Xbox 360 that have had online modes shut down. Even stuff like NBA 2K14 on PS4 no longer has online modes, so I'd imagine the Xbox One version is the same.

Besides, the link he shared says the following:

"Here are a few more specific details:

1. The multiplayer online services for the title will be shut down but the solo features will remain available."

Startup Chime

No, you are mistaken. 2k =/= Ubisoft.

For online MP on Xbox Ubi uses the Xbox Live servers. SCDA is on the list that is posted on the Ubi forums, yet the multiplayer still works fine.
