Back when they said it would be coming eventually they responded to a tweet saying it would be available digitally eventually. Obviously it's a tweet so things could change but hopefully they make it available because it's hard to find a copy in good shape.
 
Lol, finally bit the bullet and downloaded NASCAR expansion for FM6, which I picked up on that last Forza 6 sale, and I'm actually liking it a lot more than I thought I would. So racing around ovals though needs some more excitement imo.

Stock cars on world famous courses, actually a lot of fun. The Porsche expansion was wayy better though and looks like I gotta play that in FH2 some time this weekend. I do tend to enjoy open world a bit more and can't wait to grab FH3.

If it's anything like the original WAW zombie maps or CoD classic they came out with, people were paying more for those codes than they were MSRP for the game.

Those pre-order codes used to be really bizarre how much money they'd bring. In college I would pre-order something and sell the bonus code that came with it. I almost feel bad for the guy that bought my Reptile MK Klassic skin for MK9 for $65 and the week afterwards they announced you could buy the whole set for 400 MS points, lol.

Oh fuck off, I was going to buy it on disc and gameshare COD4. I've even had COD4R pinned to my home since it was announced.

The game looks really good and Raven is doing their best to listen to feedbacks but it seems Activision doesn't care about doing a good job. If they fear to flood the used disc market with IW they should've put IW+COD4R at an higher price

Wow, I sold my very good copy of the game for $9 free shipping on eBay about a year ago, the price has gone up fast.

Lost Odyssey plays almost exactly like Final Fantasy X, if you played it then you'll know what to expect. Definitely fun if you're into JRPGs.

I was going to buy the Legacy version from BB. A co worker wants IW but doesn't care about the remaster. I was going to sell him the disc for $50 and keep the code.

Guess I will just get the base version for him.

 
I just bought a clearance copy of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for Xbox 360 from Target for $4.48. Is the season pass worth buying? It's on sale for $5.99 on Xbox Live this week.
 
So, anybody willing to help me figure out this Forza Horizon 1 issue?

I bought the season pass during a sale last year.  Trying to go through and install the DLC but it keeps trying to charge me for the Rally Expansion even though the season pass shows purchased...

The little I played of it wasn't very impressive. I have the Handsome Jack Collection on both PS4 and XBox One.

On PS4 I beat TPS but never go too far with the DLC. On XBox One I haven't even installed TPS. Game is ok but a let down from BL2. Personally I would probably pass at $6.

You have to "purchase" the season pass DLC in game.

 
No response from my seller after a day and a half to a direct message, just officially requested a refund. I use "Doesn't seem authentic", explained the situation, explained the Amazon exploit, pointed out how many codes the seller sent, added a photo showing the revoked game, and mentioned that selling digital codes is against eBay's rules.

Hopefully it works, probably going to miss Gears at launch though.

I rarely buy DLC, but I will get it if it adds something to the experience or continues an enjoyable experience. You're probably right about passing on the DLC for The Pre-Sequel. I'm fairly certain that I'll get plenty of enjoyment out of the base game for the money I paid for it.

This and make sure do to so before the FH1 DLC is delisted later this month. If you don't you will own the season pass, but you will be unable to access the DLC it provides since it is just an unlock key for the actual DLC. And MS will not provide refunds for those who get caught out that way judging from how they handled the same situation with FM4 last year.

I only have the free packs and I can't figure this out at all on the Xbone. I'm gonna try the 360 and see if it automagically works. I have the content "purchased" on my Live account and downloaded. It shows up as purchased in the game, but I can't figure out how to access any of the vehicles besides what I have naturally through just playing the game.

It's all good, all you needed to say was "I got kids, I'm on West Coast Time" and I woulda understood. I'm lucky in that both my kids are asleep by 8 and my fiance heads to bed shortly after.

Ah. The cars have to be purchased from the Autoshow thing. Do I actually need to do this before the delisting? Buy every DLC car in-game?
 
Will rechargeable AA batteries inside an Xbox One controller get recharged if it's plugged onto Xbox One?  Or will your controller blow up?  

My Day One controller stick drifts up and I haven't fixed it yet so I'm not using it, and with my extra controller the port is bent inside or something so even when I have the cable attached it's not connecting properly and won't charge unless I use my hands to connect it.  I can't plug and play.  What I'm doing now is I have the the battery I got from Play & Charge kit onto my drifting Day One controller and charge that batter there and when it's done, I put that battery on my extra controller.  Hopefully I find those Xbox One controller on clearance at Target soon.

 
Can't help but wonder if the Atari Flashback games will have easy achievements in a similar vein to Midway Arcade Classics on the 360.

Otherwise, in for Mafia 3 (eventually) and possibly Slain. While it did have a bad launch initially, everything I've heard is that the game has been improved in recent patches on Steam.

Just a reminder - if you already own Rocksmith on 360 or X1, you get the patch to bring you up to Remastered for free on release day. The retail package just gets you the 6 new DLC songs included (also available to purchase on Tuesday from the Xbox store individually or in a pack).

But that would mean that using any batteries inside the controller while it's plugged in would cause that. To the best of my knowledge the batteries are not in play with the USB connection at all and it's simply transferring data through it.

 
Trying Mass Effect. I like the choice of dialogue and the story is ok so far, but the gameplay is pretty boring.

A lot of people will complain ME2 and ME3 dumbed down the combat and RPG elements but I think the gameplay is a massive improvement in ME2 and ME3, which I think most reviewers agree with.

It would take you forever to win enough to buy every single car available. Then again, if you only have the free content it may be possible. What I did was go to the Xbox Live Marketplace in the main hub in-game. Then I went into "Popular Cars, "Car Manufacturers, "Car Packs," and "Horizon Rally" and downloaded every tile (each is a car pack) in each of them. They will either say Free or Purchased. I redownloaded each pack to make sure I had them all which was a good thing because there were three or four packs that somehow never downloaded. In the end the only ones I didn't have were the pre-order stuff and the special packs that aren't part of the season pass.

(I hope we don't have to drill down within each car pack to dl each car separately because that would take forever which I'm not going to do).

From there, you can go to the "Autoshow" and purchase the cars you just downloaded but I don't think you have to purchase each car before the Season Pass is pulled as you've downloaded them already.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong about anything.

Industry has been trying this for a while now. Actually it makes more sense on a Friday. This will attract more sales as it's the weekend and it's not just kids being out of school, adults are off work too. Black Ops 3 was released on a Friday last year too. I think it's a good idea.
