Hmm, looks like my Gears code got revoked as well. I bought my code a few days before the amazon meltdown for 35$ so I thought it would survive the purge. I never got any email saying it was revoked, just the message I needed to purchase it when I fired it up.

I sent the free Gears1-3 codes to my nephew so hopefully they will remain active.

eBay seller just refunded me, but what a fiasco.

I got on late that day and didn't realize what was going on. If I knew I would have just got a code from Amazon myself.

With heavy Xbox usage, along with daily YouTube and Twitch usage, and may 50 gigs of downloaded video a month I average between 500-600. It blows but I don't think it's going to affect too many. Maybe if you heavily use both Xbox and PS4, along with a lot of 4K streaming?

Lucky you. I requested the refund a week ago and didn't hear back from the seller. Escalated to eBay and they accepted, except they want me to ship it back.

Yes, a huge hack. He played the position using only physical ability and is the opposite of a cerebral quarterback. His TD/INT ratio is #31 all time. Below such legends as David Garrard, Neil O Donnell, Ryan Tannehill, and Chad Pennington. His career QB rating is almost 10 points less than Brady, Manning and Montana. Gardenia definitely not top 5, shit, he's not even better than the guy who replaced him in Aaron Rodgers

FCC won't allow Charter to due to the merge earlier this year (article). At least for 7 years.

I bought it and am playing it. Enjoying it very much but then again I'm a Mafia fanboy and love the period setting and everything. The music in the game gives me that Vice City feel where it's so spot on. Still can't believe they got the rights to some of these songs in the game. The gunplay and driving and all that stuff is good, but the story is where it really shines. It's like watching a movie. I think it's a great game so far but then again I would expect it to be discounted by the time Black Friday rolls around if you feel like waiting.

Gears 4 is bundled with a couple expensive graphics cards to promote Play Anywhere. Normally people sell these bundled games if they don't want them for like $30-40. It was quickly discovered that you could "buy" a card off of Amazon, get the code instantly, then cancel it. A few of us bought codes while it still looked legit, but then the market was flooded with codes for as low as $5 so virtually everyone bought one. Nvidia reacted by banning all codes unless you show proof of purchase, so a lot of people buying codes through Reddit are SOL but us eBay buyers are hoping for full refunds.

Damn. I'm in the same area, thank God. My last 3 months were all over 1.4 Tb. We're cord cutters, so everything is VUDU, Netflix or live streaming us NG my buddy's Cox account. I'll just be paying the extra $50 for unlimited data.

Damn, just got the email myself. I'm averaging 993 GB the past 3 months...I'll have to convince my wife that it is Netflix and not the PS4 and (2) Xbox Ones... (already over 300 GB this month, probably didn't help putting Horizon 3 on both Xbox's and my PC)

Yea, this 1 TB limit sucks, I know I hit that all the time............will have to pay $50 more a month.

I wish they did tiers, like if I pay for gigabit, I should get more GB.

Nice. Thanks for pointing that out. AT&T is testing fiber in certain zip codes where I live (Greenville, SC). So like Darby, I'm also hoping there are more broadband options long before that 7 years runs out. And by then even a terabyte will probably be considered tiny.

Well Titanfall 1 was 14ish months till it hit the vault so could be awhile. Granted most games are within 6-8 months.

Unravel was the fastest to hit the vault in 5ish months.

Probably because of the other options in the area, between FiOS, Cox and the satellite companies. Wouldn't surprise me if satellite was the only alternative in most of the areas getting the cap.

 
Roommate just legitimately bought a code for Gears 4 Ultimate from Best Buy

Whenever he tries to put in the code, he is told it's invalid, or something happened, try again later....

 
Hey, maybe this was talked about and I missed it but those 4 random games (bejewel 2 and 3 feeding frenzy and something else) that showed up in everyone's ready to install list. They've disappeared off my list now. Did that whole event ever get figured out why they showed up in the first place? Just curious.

Mine were revoked / don't work anymore. It was intended to be part of the vault for EA Access.
 
Just finished Gears 4 campaign on easy. Will replay it next week on harder setting with a friend.

I liked it. Much more polished then any Gears before. But, didn't seem as gritty.

Will play some of online between now and when my friend gets his copy.
