Looks like I've got to cash in my spare change bowl, I missed out on that RE Origins Collection last time and I really want those RE0 costumes. I know REmake will be GWG eventually since it was just PS+, but I don't see the bundle getting any better, and they haven't sold just RE0 with the costumes at a discount yet.

Just pretend that NEXT Tuesday would have been the normal release date, therefore the Friday release gets it to you 4 days early.
 
Anybody having issues with online connection to XBL? For the past few days, my shit has been lagging off and on, and I'll get these icons on my screen, like a Wi-Fi symbol or like 3 diamond shaped symbols that flash red. I've never had these problems before, as I'm on a WIRED connection. Like just now I was playing Gears 4 with my cousin and the WiFi symbol showed up and I just got disconnected from the session completely. How is this possible if Im using an Ethernet cord for my One? Has anyone experienced this??

My wireless goes away almost once every day and comes back on after a bit, since the past 2 weeks.

I always thought it was either my shitty Internet or bad wireless adapter in the Xbox - I have had that problem when I first got in on the preview program.

I haven't been playing a lot lately but noticed an icon recently in the top left while playing Overwatch that looks similar to what you described (over wifi) but don't have disconnection issues. A note, I am not in the preview program.

Make sure your router is secured most of all, tons of devices were hacked/controlled by a botnet to DDoS a DNS service in the last week (the Amazon, Netflix, Paypal, PSN, etc.. service outage epidemic). Or if you have security cameras on the network, those were causing most the problems as they are insecure af.

Yeah that happened to me to in Overwatch! I had that strange looking icon and it caused me to lag a bit. I was also getting an icon on the top left of Plants Vs Zombies 2 and Battlefield 1.

Huh I thought it was just me. I've noticed within the last 2 months the update program has been having weird problems with wifi. It got to the point where I stopped playing Xbox for a while but, as of this week it hasn't happened. Weird.

These are the ones for Overwatch, they were on PC from the beginning and added into the console version with one of the patches., I haven't played the other games mentioned so I'm not sure about those.

This icon pulses when your client hasn't heard from the server for a period longer than your interpolation delay. If this icon is consistently pulsing, it may indicate a connection problem, and can cause erratic behavior in game.

At this point, I wouldn't count on it. Capcom has seen fit to cozy up to PlayStation this generation and PS+ has seen a number of Capcom freebies that Xbox hasn't. I think the only Capcom GWGs in its history have been Dead Rising 2 (MS has ties to the series) and Super Street Fighter 4: AE.

Think of it this way, there's never ever been a Resident Evil GWG title. No point in expecting one now.

Dead Rising 3 (published by MS) is still very possible though.

I really wanted to get TR Underworld for $5 but I'll wait until the damned thing goes BC, if it goes BC that is. Also wanted to get the Broken Steel DLC for Fallout 3 (it is my understanding this is the DLC that "fixes" the original endings that no one liked) but I've been wanting to play New Vegas ever since the Ultimate Edition was announced....4 years ago.

I know PS4 was dead still like 2 weeks ago, I assume less players were on Xbox to begin with. It's also heavily rumored to go F2P but it's probably a few months off. The Humble Bundle on PC boosted the player base there for a couple weeks but it appears to be back down to below 200 players at any given time.

If you do get it I'd guess that season pass is worth the extra $6 though. A few new characters alone seems worth it to me.

Man these Resident Evil remakes are hovering just over my buy point. It's tempting this time around because of the holiday, but my holdout continues for better prices.

I'm probably in for State of Decay so I can remove it from my 360 backlog. This price is better than the discount 360 owners got, right? Because I totally bought it for the XB1 discount and missed it! Ha.

Yeah, I have a PS4 but would rather have it on X1. I don't get it when people say that the publishers have more to do with setting these prices and, if they do, why less than half the price on PSN?

It's more of the same but pretty much improved overall, the new overworld/hub is just one huge area that has a lot of places you can visit for quests and stuff, and you can pick up shiny items just by exploring, but it still has the same time patrol/parallel quest system, but there are elite quests and raid quests now but I have not gotten to those.

Maybe Microsoft will make up for it and offer it as GwG. :)

Sale prices (esp PS+ prices) have always been better on PSN than XBL / deals with Gold. Sony also has a habit of making digital "ultimate editions" of games (Just Cause 2 and Assassin's Creed II come to mind, "complete" editions have both been down to $5 before) but they pretty much never get put on XBL - MS would rather discount DLC but still itemize it.

If I had to venture a guess, MS might charge more for licensing/distribution on their platforms, since Sony tried to undercut a lot of those things to attract third parties and play catch-up to XBL.

Whatever sony does to make the above happen they have got a shit ton more of my money by getting it done so props for that

my 360 will always be my baby though

 
Can't believe the 3 games I wanted resident evil 5, 6 and Alien isolation are on sale. This is a great sale I picked up those along with state of decay, DR3 and the undead nightmare dlc. Wanted outlast also but due to my budget i will have to pick that up next time.
 
Looks like Gwent is going to be in the Game Preview program.

I just got my closed beta key and when redeeming it, it says "Gwent: The Witcher Card Game (Game Preview)"

Anyone wanting the DLC for The Escapists should rejoice, it's on sale!  It's a little more than half price (assuming you got Santa's Sweatshop for free) of buying them individually so not a bad deal.
