On easy or whatever the lower setting it is pretty to get through even with randoms. There is no achievement for beating on normal FWIW.

True but getting up to 24 or so and not being able to finish is frustrating.

Maybe with a good team and 2-3 hours where everyone can stick around it might be more doable on normal. I haven't played since the day before the new maps came out. Hope to get back to it next week.

I agree with FC Blood Dragon. Bought that years ago and just got around to playing it a few months ago. Fun little game.

I'm pretty sure Microsoft is watching my gamestop purchase history. Every time I buy a 360 game more expensive than $10 it ends up as one or the other within 2 months.

2 people is definitely not enough for normal. You need at least 4 unless everyone has their classes close to maxed. I think the consensus is that soldier needs a buff, but those that do well with it are focusing on powering up automatic weapons like the Lancer. I prefer the Heavy for raw damage output.

They already buffed the credits. They aren't too bad if you're doing normal or higher in Horde, but part of that is the much higher speed you can get through waves with 4 or 5 people compared to just 2 or 3. I think Insane gives the best pay out if you're really good, otherwise versus is probably most effective for grinding credits since you can do those bounties way faster.

I'd say you should at least go in to matchmaking with your cousin, even bad randoms are better than no one, as long as they aren't AFK or wasting a ton of energy.

 
When/how does the FH3 Ford Raptor show up? Played for a few mins today but didn't see anything about it...

Can anyone recommend a good place to trade in. 500gn VCR model? It's picky about discs sometimes (have to insert it more than once) and the internal drive feels pretty slow to me. I'm not looking to get rich. if I could keep my controller and get around $80 - $100 I'd be super stoked.

My options seem to be $72 (no controller) at Best Buy
$100 at GameStop but they'll be super critical and want the controller

Anything else out there?

I noticed I had a duplicate Warthog show up after receiving the initial one. Also, I now have a third since I earned another in a #Forzathon. Could you have gotten a second through #Forzathon? Also, I'm pretty sure I got three instead of two Raptors, too, although I might have bought one and not used it and it just so happens to show up blue like the two gifts which show up plain blue unless viewed. Not glad to see that glitch show up in yet another Forza. I got one set of gift cars twice as well. They also show up with a standard paint job unless you view the car or race it.

I've been playing a lot of KOTH to earn credits for Anniversary packs (one Carmine weapon still eludes me...) and I can't remember a single match where there isn't someone on my team that is AFK. Frustrating as hell. Gears seems to be the worst with that. Not glad to see most issues with versus are the same as they ever were.

Have you tried 6? Most reviews make it sound like a good step forward from last year. I wish it would release in the US already. Dirt Rally is definitely the best one, but many may find it too punishing.

I think I'll get WRC 5. The disc is getting cheaper finally, but only available from a few sources and if you want the DLC this digital package is the way to go considering the DLC will probably never go on sale, especially since the base game is only available in this bundle. It's over ten bucks of DLC plus the base game. Looks like there is one piece of DLC not included ($3). I'm a massive rally fan so I'll give in to this deal. I think it's only been on sale once before and only 30% off. Doubt it will go on sale much if ever again.

I noticed bing rewards will give 90 points per $1 spent in the windows store. It looks like I could buy WRC in the windows store for Xbone and get those credits AND use my Xbox spacebucks for the purchase. That would be a nice extra bonus.

I got a Warthog from a code and another from doing the Forzathon event a few weeks back. If you're a VIP, you get 2 Raptors as gifts through the messages, 1 everyone gets and another for being VIP.

I don't have the Pink Lakes Bucket List Blueprint available on my map for the special event. I have the Outback festival upgraded to level 5, and that's by far the closest one to the Pink Lakes. Yarra Valley is only at level 2, and I still have to get about a million more fans to unlock another upgrade.

 
I just played a bit of WRC 5.  It's not anywhere close to being as good as Rallisport Challenge 2.

The first car you drive in career handles like you are driving a concrete block.  And the spotter gave up on me halfway through the third race.

Shocking news. RC2 is my favorite racing game of all time, though Forza Horizon 3 is pretty damn awesome and of course still waiting for Burnout ripoff that comes close to Takedown quality.

Wish they would make TDU1 and TDU2 BC as well. Even though TDU2 was a major disappointment, the TDU series still has somethings that even Forza Horizon didn't have.

Edit: have you played Dirt Rally? I heard It's not as godo as RC2, but is a damn good Rally game. Not many of those in the last few years.

Personally I absolutely loved 2, it just had a really nice social feel and cruising/exploring with friends was a blast, the little things like lowering your window and being able to see other peoples characters (and in stores and such) and being able to ride passenger and all that made it really fun to play with friends.

Yeah. For the most recent rally games, the order from best to worst goes like this: DiRT Rally > Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo >>>>>>> WRC 5.

I thought Sebastian Loeb was terrible, traded in a day after I bought it. WRC 5 is slightly better I thought but both games are trash.

I'd say if you want an arcade rally game then Forza Horizon 3 has that, if you want something more sim then get Dirt Rally.

Apparently I got codes for Gears 2,3 and Judgement. Even though my Gears 4 was revoked a while ago. Then I had to change my password cause someone was apparently trying to get into my account.

No idea if I got the FH3 car. HDR was finally fixed on my TV so I started the game last night and played like two hours without getting through the tutorial.

Dirt 3 is widely considered one of the best racing games ever so I don't think it's overlooked.

Except that the rally discussion over the last three pages was about Dirt Rally, WRC, RSC2, and NOT Dirt 3, so he was right that it was being overlooked.

I think everyone just gets the Raptor next time they log in (or maybe soon afterward if it is sent out in waves). It was already there when I logged in rather than I had to play on the 15th and then it was sent to me. They can't gift it immediately so it was just there already. I'm pretty sure that they have gone back to a system where you will receive any cars that were previously gifted when you first play a la FM3. When they made that switch to where you only got stuff after you started playing and that stuff expired in a few weeks people got upset (FH1). I'd be very interested to know what cars you have gift messages for when you get that far so please post or pm that.

Dirt 3 was widely considered a great racer/rally game by critics or those who actually played it, but most non-rally fans barely know it exists. Remember the disappointment here and elsewhere about "another crappy GWG" when it hit GWG? I constantly have to talk it up to other gamers, many of whom don't believe rally racing is a real life sport.

Thanks, I should have been more clear on VIPs receiving a second truck. Also, my Outback is a 3 and Yarr is unlocked, but I was able to run the special event by going to the rivals messages and accepting it there. Also, online freeroam has all activities unlocked.

ICE RACING!!!!! Seriously, why has this never made it back into any racing game ever (4 or 2 wheels even)???? High hopes of it being included in the winter expansion. Dirt 2 was awesome, too. It's problem was it needed a few control tweaks that fixed the slightly floaty handling, but no tweaks were allowed for online racing. I really wish Rallisport Challenge would make a return in some (good) form or another whether new game, remake, or with the introduction of superBC from OGXbox to Xbox 1.

Seriously! Ice racing is intense! So intense in fact, that the cars need special studded tires in order to get traction on the ice.
