I just wish someone would have figured out how to make a mod that disables the achievement disabling like the PC version received pretty much right away. For as many nude mods snuck through on Fallout 4 it seemed possible, though I suppose most of those were just shitheads that were stealing those mods to begin with, instead of actual competent modders.

I think Cyber Monday deals probably would have already shown up a few hours ago if they were happening.

Anyone else having problems with battlefield 1 right now? Cannot connect to servers for multiplayer and achievements not unlocking for single player
 
I bought Killer Instinct DE when it was $20, but when I launch the game all the fighters are locked and it wants me to buy them - WTF?  Did I miss downloading some extra pack or something?

EDIT: Nevermind, just figured out I have to go to Manage Game and manually install all the characters with Install All.  Why in the hell doesn't it do that automatically?  Typical MS.

I regularly see OG Xbox games in local used shops that I've never heard of. It's somewhat frightening.

I haven't played it, but people on TrueAchievements say it can become completely unplayable with constant crashes and game breaking bugs that you need to go out of your way to find a workaround. No one reported them ever patching it. Seems like it would just cause headaches, even at $1.99. Probably best to read the guides there and see if it's worth the hassle to you.

They should at least allow some mods to have achievements after reviewing them to make sure they aren't OP
 
FYI, the Skyrim Dragonborn bundle (AKA The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Best Buy Exclusive Dragonborn Bundle) is also enjoying a GCU discount of its $40 price.  I just picked this up and also Elder Scrolls Online for $20 and will probably never play them.  I fully think that it isn't how many games you toss onto the backlog, it's how many hours of expected play time you toss onto the backlog. :D

 
On the fence about:

Batman Arkham Knight Premium Edition, have the physical disc, but wondering if the extra content is worth it since this would be cheaper then the season pass and then i can just sell/trade in the physical disk.

Metro Redux / Saints Row bundle - $11 seams good but probably wont play either for awhile, and these games seem like the type to be free with gold at a later point.

Just Cause 3 XL - picked up the physical for $15 this bf, but wondering if the extra content is worth it

Minecraft Story Mode was surprisingly good. I enjoyed all 8 episodes. It's similar to Tales from the Borderlands where it focuses mostly on comedy and awkward conversations rather than a serious story like other telltale games.

oh and for anyone that buys it, be sure to pick the male character over the female. The main guy is voiced by Patton Oswalt and he nails the performance throughout the game.

I got it in this sale. Only tried P1 so far. Seems fine, it's just dated. A product of its time (every other car/pedestrian is the same). But it's easy to forget that stuff when you are having fun dropping the people's elbow onto tanks and helicopters.

This is what I did last time it was on sale. I'm just finishing up some of the smaller extra DLC missions and I've loved the whole thing. Had a ton of fun with the racing tracks too, especially the retro Batman '66 stuff.
 
Damn im getting reallyyyyy tempted on grabbing Skyrim on the Xbox Store (I know its $20 at BB but I want digital ): ) The only other game I would end up buying is Doom.

So Doom as my final purchase? Or pay the extra $10 for Skyrim?

If they ever added small track (oval) dirt track racing or even paved I would probably be 'forced' to buy Forza Horizon 3.  I really liked the demo just not sure I would stick with it.

Skyrim. Doom is an extended rental. You want to be able to flip to Skyrim on a whim.

Well some of us don't have a PC that will run Skyrim in all its glory.

I agree, Doom is very good but you'll be playing more hours of Skyrim so make Doom a rental or flip and go with Skyrim.

I didn't plan on it but am tempted. My rewards mission says I have pre-ordered Skyrim and Dishonored 2 and so if I preorder FF I get the $15 in rewards back... (Skyrim I bought during this sale and I cancelled my preorder of Dishonored 2 but they both are coming up as pre-ordered hah)

I am torn though because I just am getting back into the Witcher (had it on release on ps4 and played the poop out of it and picked it up again now on the X1) plus I just got Skyrim.... not to mention my plethora of RPGs waiting to be played on my PS4/Vita...

But... but I want Final Fantasy haha

One of the reasons I snatched it up on discount (aside from the insane deal) is to play it alongside the rest of the world. Games like this are a little more extra fun when they haven't been fully dissected by the rest of the internet or been potentially spoiled, so I say give FFXV a spin now and worry about Witcher and Skyrim later.

 
Ok fellas, last day of the sale and I've $20 to burn. Should I get recore, mortal Kombat xl ( already beat campaign mostly want to see the alien fight leather face), or shell out $10 more for hitman. Leaning towards hitman mostly because it's most likely to get played ever.

Can someone do me a favor?

I mentioned above that my pre-order punch card is showing two preorders already. Dishonored 2 which I cancelled and Skyrim which I bought Saturday during this sale. I will bite on the base FF15 if I think I will get the bonus $15 back but I am wondering for those who have 2 already preordered, what does your screen look like? This is mine and I am curious if the numbered circles should be colored in or something?

Broly, yes, the numbers up top should be filled in based on your correlating pre-orders.

The promotion kind of sucks because the preorders only count if you preorder between 10/1 - 12/31.

(I don't get credit for FFXV, even though I preordered it digitally about 6 months ago.)
