Played the first level and a half of Solar Shifter EX. Maybe I'll warm up to the game later on, but as is, if you're a casual fan, I'd probably give it a pass.

Playing the level, the one nice thing is, if the game kicks your ass, there are checkpoints throughout the level and you have unlimited lives. With how often I was dying, it was welcome. But I don't know if it's because I don't know the patterns for this game, or if it's because of the chaotic feel plus the playing field view.

Which brings me to my main complaint. The way your ship moves / rotates. One moment you could be going straight, but all of a sudden the level makes a 30 degree turn one direction and your ship is all cockeyed and locked in that direction. Maybe it's just a matter of learning the bullet spreads but I feel the rotation sort of messes with you a bit and makes things harder than it needs to be. Compared to Under Defeat where you ship rotates on a 45 degree axis, but you can at least control the way your ship moves at any given point.

There's also an upgrade system, although reading into it, I'd call it more of a progression system than anything else. After the first level, you gain a secondary weapon. I believe future upgrades are just an upgrade in power, and no new weapons are obtained. However, there's only one button to shoot. So while you may have a second weapon, it's more of a power boost than a legit secondary weapon. And enemies (from what I played) seem very weak, including bosses. Only problem is, you're weak too. You may have a life bar, but if you're caught by a laser beam or in a bad stream of bullets, it may as well be a one hit kill in some instances.

 
To those who complain about DLC never going on sale (myself included), the DLC for Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are on sale.  Major Nelson dropped the mic on us.

 
Wolf among us is a great game if you haven't played it. However it might be hard to get into if you're not a fan of the comic. (I am!) I was thinking though if I hadn't read the book I would be like : Why is that flying monkey always drunk? Why is that old guy such a dick? Etc

I never was big on comics.  I really liked Wolf Among Us though.  

I think it stands on its own well enough that you don't have to be a comic book reader to enjoy it.  Played it 3 times (3 easy plats).

I liked it alot. If it ever goes BC I would definitely play through again. Depends on how much you like platformers though. It's definitely on the easier side, with a few spots that put up a challenge (if you want to grab everything).

 
Never even knew Juju was on 360. Had contemplated getting it on Android (Shield) a few times.

But with major exceptions like if Mark of the Ninja ever goes on sale again, I'm not buying any more 360 games thar aren't BC.

Buy recipes from Guild Traders for less than 40 Gold; people practically give 'em away. Then, with your newfound recipes, you'll quickly level up Provisioning using all your Ingredients like you're some sort of Food Network junkie that can't stop cooking. ....Or better yet, if you are a part of a (player) Guild and have access to the Guild's bank, you'll see that people literally do give recipes away to other Guild members; as long as you donate a stupid frilly trinket once in a while (or extra recipes you find) no one in your Guild should mind that you've just taken 15 green recipes from the Bank.

And if you put 3 Skill Points in Provisioning's Chef (food) or Brewer (drink) skill, you'll make an extra three food/drink of what you set out to create. So you get 4 soups for using 2 ingredients, for instance. As you level up Provisioning and gather a ridiculous amount of ingredients, this can be a nice way to make a (little) bit of Gold - turning 2 ingredients into 20 Gold a pop.

It looks cool. But, the game is looking more and more like they just put The Division into different non-NYC environments.

Even some of the animations in the new trailer today look right out of The Division.

I don't think Street Fighter V is happening unless Capcom goes back on their word about no Super/Ultra version. They probably would have already announced or at least hinted at something by now due to V's poor reception outside of the FGC, and low overall sales. The only hope now is if Sony either had an unmentioned timed contract. I think a low sales clause would have been enacted already.

I think Sony has a pretty strong contract on Street Fighter since the (shoddy) Ultra Street Fighter IV port was exclusive, with no BC for the original or any of the other digital releases of older SFs. Probably the closest we'll get is MvC Infinite, the UMvC3 port, and maybe Tekken X Street Fighter whenever Bamco finally gets to it.

I'm surprised by your comments. Didn't Future Soldier, GRAW, and GRAW2 all had cover systems (in campaign) that worked really well? I thought that was one of the cornerstones of the franchise, making good use of cover. Otherwise, it's just CoD or Battlefield.

Apparently the plug has been pulled on weekly updates to the BC list. Titles will be added infrequently now. Program probably about to be closed. Developers favor re-releases over the money made from Xbox 360 digital downloads and DLC.

I preordered a game that had a $10 gift card included, but since I was a rewards member, they gave a $15 rewards credit which was the bonus for preordering a game. Might want to check the offer details if you can. It may say you only get the rewards points.

I think Sony has a pretty strong contract on Street Fighter since the (shoddy) Ultra Street Fighter IV port was exclusive, with no BC for the original or any of the other digital releases of older SFs. Probably the closest we'll get is MvC Infinite, the UMvC3 port, and maybe Tekken X Street Fighter whenever Bamco finally gets to it.

Even if they don't do an Ultra version, they could do a "complete" edition with all the updates that have been issued via patch and pass it off as not the same thing. If MVC3-4 do well on Xbox I wouldn't be surprised if they tried, Capcom loves repackaging the same content on new platforms. The Sony deal sounds pretty airtight but if anyone could find a loophole, it's Capcom.
