It seems like they're doing daily deals too. I just redeemed points for one yesterday because it was a "Hot Deal" at 3500 points. Now the $10 GC is 7000 points, and like you said, the $5 is AWOL

Honestly I haven't found one. I keep an eye out on here, on r/MicrosofRewards on Reddit, and then I try to remember to check the redeem section every couple days to see if anything new has popped up

Check in the game itself. Seems like it didn't actually have a file for the season pass. I got it last Christmas as part of the Telltale collection, and vaguely remember the same thing happening to me.
 
Got impatient, bit on the 3-in-1 Arcade compilation of Dig Dug, PacMan & Galaga for $4(thank you MS Rewards). I think I now have the original PacMan on waaay too many platforms. Off the top of my head - 360, og Xbox, Xbox One, Wii, GameCube, NES, Gameboy, GBA, Atari 5200 and my phone. I'm sure I also have it on a Playstation and Sega system too

I found PacMan to be a lot harder than I remember lol I guess I got used to the Championship Editions where you can fight off the ghosts. Now that the only option is to run away, I'm not half the (pac) man I thought I was.

I don't know if it's on a game by game basis but I can tell you it didn't work for new Vegas. I installed the DLC off disc and tried playing the digital game and it didn't show the DLC. Ended up buying when it was on sale for black Friday.



I'm still on the fence for mount and blade. It looks like an interesting game. Does anyone have insight as to whether I should pass or not? I like how it's larger scale than chivalry but wish it were a bit more over the top like chivalry. Is there any type of story or is it just different battle scenarios?

I saved $4 by realizing I didn't need it on my xbox one, even if it was bing money.

 
Xbox didn't tell me I had any updates for Star Wars Battlefront until I loaded up the game and was greeted with a 21GB update. Sigh. I have a slow enough connection as is, but my Xbox One S is god awful with download speeds. Sometimes it just flat out stops downloading during the process.

There's the good ol Saints Row Metro pack.

They definitely do a bad job of doing big discounts on really old games. Why can't we get $5 games on some of the Xbox One titles from the first year it came out? I think they worry too much about those sales cutting into sales of these bad price recent releases.

With respect to the Tales from the Borderlands Season Pass not downloading on the XBox 360. You don't need to download the Season Pass apparently. You just need to go into the main game and start downloading the DLC. Really strange behavior, but it works,

I Got it for $8 with steelbook this week and the hate for it was strong, but after patches everyone says its a much solid game. Basically think of it as Far Cry 3 except desolate city instead of jungle.

Would be less hesitant to pull the trigger on the $43 deluxe edition but for my backlog.

PSA, don't do it. I'm a huge Mega Man fan and went into it extremely open-minded, the game is just poorly made. I enjoyed the demo a lot and figured people were just jumping on the bandwagon because they love to hate things, but I gave it an honest chance and it's awful.

I'd said as much a few weeks ago but just FYI, don't do it.

 
Had no plans to pick up Dead Rising 4, but did the $35.99 Newegg digital deal and am not regretting it one bit. Had trouble getting into DR3. This one is sooooo much more fun and glad to have Frank back. Great stuff.

I seriously got way more game releases in the last few months than I ever in my right mind expected to (Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Dishonored 2, COD Infinite Warfare, Watch Dogs 2, Final Fantasy XV, Skyrim Remastered, Darksiders Remastered, Gears of War 4, The Last Guardian, DR4). Insane but every one I got for close to or less than half price and a few free from work. That's not including a bunch of older games also bought during BF.

I have a serious addiction and if my wife knew I bought all those...yikes.

tempted to snag up avengers deluxe but 28 smackers for a lego game seems like something I'll regret later when it goes on sale every other week for the next 2 years

PSA, don't do it. I'm a huge Mega Man fan and went into it extremely open-minded, the game is just poorly made. I enjoyed the demo a lot and figured people were just jumping on the bandwagon because they love to hate things, but I gave it an honest chance and it's awful.

I honestly enjoyed it, I'm a big fan of classic MM, MMX, and most of the spinoffs and had fun with MN9 for what it was, I plan on getting back on it to finish up more of the challenges and such soon, I liked those a lot.

Interesting. I grew up on the NES games and have beat them countless times, love the X games, enjoyed some of the MMZero games too. I enjoy challenging platformers, but MN9 felt really cheap and poorly designed IMHO. Little things, like if you die in that sniper level, there are zero check-points prior to the boss fight, made it feel more like a chore. Glad to know some people enjoyed it, but I really couldn't.

 
Kicking myself for not picking up the digital Forza Horizon 3 during the Best Buy deal of the day.  Since it is currently a week-long deal, my guess is that it will stay at $38.99 :(

 
All I remember from playing Homefront is that the supply drops having this really annoying beeping noise when you get near, and sometimes my game would glitch and the loud beeping wouldn't go away until you turned it off. They've probably fixed it though
