Apparently people are having trouble looking past it? You're correct, but unfortunately the SNES is dead. It turns on, but it's always just a solid black screen, at least the RF output. AV may still work.

I usually do Cut Man, Elec Man, Elec Man's stage again to get the Magnet Beam, Bomb Man, Guts Man, Ice, then Fire. When I was younger I could beat Yellow Devil without the pause glitch but I'm out of practice.

Getting a Saturn is nothing special. Truly horrible system, even after modding it for Japanese games.

Used to keep old systems long ago, but nowadays, they'd just be victims of little kids smearing whatever mess they want on them, so I have stopped that business.

And after playing Mega Man Legacy Collection on the One, all I've learned is that whatever skills I ever had at playing Mega Man have eroded horribly. I hesitate to say I suck at it at the risk of offending people who only suck at it.

I remember one of my classmates in Jr. High had a Saturn. I was so amazed when I would see pictures in magazines of Nights.

As far as retro systems, I have given every system I've ever had away when I get a new one to peers or kids who just didn't have the money to buy them. I've given away Original NES, Genesis, Super Nintendo, Gamecube (sigh), Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, and Nintendo 64. Makes me emotional just thinking about all of the memories and great sleepovers/parties/etc. with friends and family involving video games. I was having a conversation with my brother yesterday (we are both 36) and we were talking about the good old days and how it's hard to get into some of the newer games. We were saying how we wish they had Mario games on the X1. I literally spend time watching this crazy guy on Youtube playing insane Mario Maker levels and I'm tempted to buy a Wii U just to play that game.

This is exactly why I don't like playing CoD online anymore. I swear when Gears of War 1 first came out on Xbox 360, people were still saying "good game" at the end of matches like on PC games, despite who won/lost and the means of getting to that outcome.

Did you log a lot of time on BO3 as well? That was the first COD I really enjoyed in a few years. I played the Beta for IW and just didn't like the way it felt. How would you compare the two?

There were players who talked poorly in my early days of playing the Xbox 360, but you're definitely right that there were many more players who were friendly and had social skills. I still remember playing Gears of War and in between every round we were talking about what we thought was going to happen in Spider-Man 3 (I don't think any of us predicted the upset it was going to be), and this was even after being chainsawed or decapitated by an opponent. You just knew it was a game and that if you were beaten you played next round.

Though I do recall my first online match of Gears of War I was called a homosexual for throwing a smoke grenade, and that was by a teammate. Now that just seems to be the standard for online communication.

The model Goliath from the Homefront Revolution CE is a lot of fun if you have a 75 pound Akita that is for some reason afraid of it.

I didnt like the beta cause I didnt know the maps. With Dom I can learn the maps and know they're not spawning behind me. Once I learn how to maneuver thru map I can play other game modes. But Dom is my goto cause you know where they spawn and hardcore with the 1 hit kill. The regular dom is just bullet sponges

Didn't like the Dragoon games, including Saga. I did like Burning Rangers and Oasis, but NIGHTS was crap. Not a huge fighting game fan, but a solid Marvel v Capcom game wasn't enough for me. I bought the think of launch date, so I had a whopping 3 or 4 games available for months.

so you got the garbage version of Virtua Fighter 1, and not the 1.5 and Virtua Fighter 2? Those were both pretty great, I got one the day they announced at E3 and I wouldn't call the system garbage, best version of Mortal Kombat 3 for awhile and controller to play with later on in life.

 
I'm actually going to bite on the daily, I don't mind abandoning JC2 for the upgrade. I remember watching TB streaming 3 when it came out and looked fun. Only question is whether the dlc is worth it.

Could have sworn it went on sale during Black friday week or the week before. I don't think It's worth $100 anymore TBH since I'm mostly digital on games and the 2 day shipping seems to not be 2 days anymore. But I love Amazon too much to abandon them,

maybe it's not meant for you. THE GAME can be moody. Sometimes it just doesn't work.

I've been waiting on a sale since launch and I watched a couple gameplay vids. $17 left a sour taste in my mouth, but I'm ecstatic about it. The storyline was really entertaining, for what it is. Once you finish that a bunch of challenges open up. If the core mechanic of controlling time hooks you, I think you'll be happy with it even for $17.

yeah I've been a prime member since the first year

just not for me anymore for the same reasons you listed but I'd definitely bite at 70ish

I didn't see it on sale during BF

JC3 is great. Goofy fun. And the DLC is good. I just seem to see it on sale all of the time.

I'm not high on Superhot. For $10, I'd try. I won't bite for less than that.

XBL horribly slow download right now. 5 to 8 MB/s. Usually maxes out my 50 Mbps connection. Thinking about JC3. Loved JC2. Play through JC3 story on PS4 but load times were horrendous. Not sure I have the patiences for that.
 
Superhot is fun, I'm stuck currently in a level I have no idea how to beat after like 50 tries. CaptBrannigan is quoting the game, nice touch.

From Destructoid, reviewing the third JC3 DLC: I can't recommend this Season Pass to anyone. Even if you haven't played the game yet and would be able to use these new utilities while completing the story, it's a bad sell. These DLC items make Just Cause 3 a brainless and straightforward snoozefest. Traversal becomes less exhilarating and liberating camps because way too easy, and since those are the only two real mechanics, why even bother at that point?

I'm on day 3 of downloading Modern Warfare Remastered. Why the hell that game is bout 75GB or so in size is baffling.
