Anyone know how I might redeem the Xbox 360 Mercenary Day 2016 code in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel or is it too late? All I have is the code, a newly opened clearance copy of the game from Target, and absolutely no instructions. Any help would be appreciated because the game kicks ass even without the Mercenary Day content!

If I remember correctly, in game there is a shift menu. Enter the code there.

You can also look up the old codes. There's a list of you google it. They tell you what codes are still active. You can redeem like 250 and get some good guns to run through with...

When I bought RE4 a few months back, it was the first time I picked the game up since the PS2 version came out. Sometimes it did look jarring when the framerate drops during reload animations, but otherwise, it was a great gaming experience. I didn't have a problem with the controls, and them being "outdated" or whatever. I kept hearing in reviews about how the controls didn't age well, that back then there were no other standards for controlling a third person shooter.
Except, the game isn't a third person shooter. That's like saying Metroid Prime is a first person shooter.
I had an extensive backlog already, before buying the Arkham bundle and Just Cause 3 and Darksiders during this sale alone. But, I didn't allow RE4 to fall into that spot. Played to completion, and then did Separate Ways and started playing on professional before finally taking a break. RE4 is great.

You'll get a shitton of keys, but don't forget guns scale to your level at time if redemption. As in don't blow them early, go back every few levels.
 
I have about $125 left of credit.  Part of me wants to wait and see what else goes on sale.  I'd love to see some games like Shovel Knight, Rogue Legacy, and Axiom Verge go on sale next week or in the dailies.  

I'm also considering picking up Titanfall 2, Gears 4, FFXV, and Battlefront Ultimate.  I think I've talked myself out of Battlefront since I don't play multiplayer alot.  TF2 and Gears 4 I go back and forth on thinking I can just Gamefly them for the campaigns.

Then the devil on my shoulder says "buy 'em all, let your backlog sort 'em out."

 
Even though the weapons scale, whenever I found something I liked, I could use it for the next 5/10 levels.
Borderlands 3.... What Destiny came off like, and failed. Battleborn needed more Borderlands too.


Rogue Legacy and Axiom Verge are two that's on my radar. Just haven't bitten yet.

Would replay Rogue Legacy and I'm still dying for AV. If it's not a daily or Countdown title, I'll probably just splurge on it so I can play it before the Spring semester begins.

I agree, RE4 controls perfectly for what it's supposed to be, I think people who say they haven't aged well have the wrong idea of what RE4 is or are comparing it to the more action-oriented RE5. It's a third-person horror, not third-person shooter. There's a learning curve, and that opening village section forces you to learn them kinda quickly, but beyond that it's smooth sailing.

The Wii port did have better controls with the remote aiming, but I can't bring myself to play it in 480p.

I say we save the money for now, those games will get cheaper and will be on sale semi frequently

why fill the backlog even more at 30+ a piece when we can for 20ish? not like we are gonna play them shits anyway

 
I'm the one guy who was realllllly hoping for a Tropico 5 sale. I almost grabbed a copy from gamefly for 30 during their used blowout but waited hoping XBL would come through. I've not seen it drop below 40 really since it came out for the X1. Love the series, 4 got a YUUUUGE amount of playtime on my 360, so it's time to grab a cigar and become El Preisdente.

Yeah, Tropico has become a favorite of mine. 5 is really, really good. Wish the DLC was on sale, but I also figure we'll eventually get an ULTIMATE edition to replace the PENULTIMATE one.

 
So Strider is showing up at $3.74 on the website and the purchase button on 360, but when I go to buy it on 360, the payment details screen says $15.

However, when I go to buy it on the website, the payment details screen says $3.74..

This would be fine, except I'm trying to spend my credit instead of cash. And you still can't spend credit through the website.  :wall:

Not really. Just think of him as having said, "This isnt shocking news" instead. Because it isn't. For reference, see Amy Winehouse or Whitney Houston or Keith Richards ANY DAY NOW I'm sure... Plus, Carrie Fischer having had a heart attack on a plane is not a good way to have a heart attack.

Unless you were talking about the other thing, in which case:

DA:O is definitely worth playing and not skipping. Although I don't necessarily agree with the reference to Baldur's Gate (I wonder if they were talking about the :pc: or :ps2: / :xbox: version), both games (all three really) are 100% worth playing.

Speaking of which I think I'm going to start clamoring for :xbox: games to be added to the BC program in reply to these BO2 people.

To my knowledge Fisher hasn't had any recent drug problems. She suffered from bipolar depression and other issues.

That said, I do agree that having a heart attack on an 11 hour flight is not good. I think even if she had survived she may have had major brain damage, etc. depending on how long she had the attack before the doctor and nurse in the plane got her breathing again.
