There may be people out there that like this game, and that is fine.

But, to me it seems like they are really sucking ass on the countdown sales this year.

Got most of what I wanted on disc new at nearly half the price they were asking for them in this sale.

I think the closest they came to one of my disc prices was only like $10 more for the digital.

Not to mention that if you look at the price histories, a LARGE majority of them were less expensive multiple times before.

But, there are more days to come, so more opportunities for something great.

I would be worried about the community size of the DLC maps of that game. I don't have it but you might want to check how active the online is before taking the plunge. I know Overwatch ate there lunch on release.
 
There have been at least 2 story dlcs released so far for Battleborn. Game is actually pretty fun in the campaign from what I've played. Ots certainly not terrible, just got compared unfairly to Overwatch

When I played the beta for Battleborn I was coming off of Smite addiction and Borderlands 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I was stoked for Battleborn since it was a combo of Smite like MOBA and charm and gunplay of Borderlands 2. Sadly it just wasn't very fun. The characters aren't as good as Borderlands 2 and the gameplay wasn't as polished as Smite. I tried to love it during the Beta but ended up feeling let down by it. The coop campaign wasn't fun either so my wife was dissapointed since we had fun playing Borderlands 2 together.

I just hope Borderlands 3 is nothing like Battleborn.

What else did you buy during the sale? The page says it can take up to 96 hours for things to post there, and since you bought those 2 things in the past 26 hours, I doubt they'd have posted already. I bought Batman Telltale yesterday morning then a few week 1 items last night before they expired, and my total hasn't moved. Though I'm over $200 from the 4th star, don't think I'm going to make it.

Many years ago I took a shit that was literally like giving birth. Took about 30 minutes of relaxation techniques before I could even pass it. It was awful. When I tried to flush, the log was too big to go down. It was the size (diameter) of a Pringles can, and almost as long. I had to let it soak for the better part of a day before it would go down.

I don't sit on the toilet, I squat like a frog. I read squatting like a frog is the best way to go. I just got use to froggy style and can't go any other way. I checked Amazon's digital deals and it looks like mostly PC games. Hopefully console digital games pops up.

For those who recently played Battleborn, is it easy to get into a match or is the community kinda dead? I always hear people say "this game is dead, that game has empty servers" etc but when I go to play some MP in them (Battlefront, Doom), I have zero problems finding a full lobby. Is that the case here?

That reminds me of Jon Stewart and Colbert's rally in DC years back. They were inadequately equipped when it came to porta potties and when my fiance had to go, she said the entire thing was filled with shit, piled up out of the bowl, on the floor, in the side urinal.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I would probably only play the campaign either single player or coop with friends. I have heard from a friend the game play is a lot like Borderlands and that is why I am interested. The MOBA game play sounds interesting too.

I guess I am still undecided on getting the deluxe version. Not sure what content you get with the season pass. If it is just multiplayer maps I don't need the SP. I have some time to think it over at least.

No way am I clicking on that and having weird stuff end up in my Recommended lists from Amazon. I can't even imagine the ebooks they'd try to recommend based on that, or the ads they'd push to my Kindle Fire.

Funny story though, I took a Communications class a couple years ago and one of the things we had to do was give a Persuasive presentation on something that meant a lot to us. One girl (a fairly quiet, unassuming one) chose... that exact thing and product. Peoples' jaws were on the floor.

Is anyone else experiencing slow download speeds from Live? I've been downloading Borderlands TPS for almost 3 hours now and I'm only at 51%
 
Man, I leave the thread for a couple hours and it goes to complete shit. I guess we're back to normal now that holiday sale anticipation has passed.

You either love it or hate it. For me I have the base game and never had any desire to add DLC to it. It's a good couple hours of mayhem and fun. but then you don't want to play it for a long time once you've done so...

lol kinda reminds me of the nightclub days back in the day downtown. It was a restroom in the hallway between two clubs so I go in all the urinals had dudes so I go to the stall and I swear to God it looked like Wesley Snipes cut his arm off and left it in the toilet. Im like fuck this shit (no pun) and decided to go outside to piss and hoped I didnt get arrested

Thoughts on Assassin's Creed Rogue?  Seems like the first one and Liberation are the only one I didn't like. How does Rogue fare?

Is Deadpool worth getting at $20 or should I wait for the price to drop further? I really liked the movie and I'm keeping my Marvel gaming on Xbox whenever I can.

I'm surprised Call of Duty Ghosts and Advanced Warfare are the same price. I figured one of them would be $15 by now.

Any fans of Yosumin? I see Mr. Driller as a related game so I might have to check this out.

Count me in as another fan of Portal. I didn't like it at first because I tried rushing through the puzzles, but once you take your time it's pretty fun. I use the same approach to Super Meat Boy, Fallout 3, and Ninja Gaiden.

Maybe next year I'll try playing Borderlands. It all depends on if/when I get through Massive Dialogue, I mean Mass Effect 1.
