Can't decide on what to buy. I got a gift of $20 Ms money, so trying to decide between a few titles and just can't decide.

Destiny Collection (Not opposed to group raids)
Lego Force Awakens Deluxe (solo play which I like)
Halo 5 (single player only, not interested in the pvp aspect)
Assassin's Creed Syndicate Gold edition (into Victorian era stuff but never really played an AC before)

Stuck because I can only get one but want all of them lol.

Not overly concerned with Destiny 2, If I buy the collection I won't be buying Destiny 2 until that also hits the $30 or under mark like this collection is now. Been reading up and it seems like the solo stuff alone in this collection could take me forever to get through.

It may take awhile but there is a point your going to get in Destiny where the only way you will progress is by doing multiplayer stuff. It's way into the end game but still, there is that point. If your ok with that, then Destiny isn't terrible.

If you never played an AC game then Syndicate is a good game to pick up since your not tired of AC games yet, lol.

I played the very beginning of Black Flag, and the very beginning of Unity, but maybe spent an hour max on both titles combined with. I do really like Victorian era stuff, stealth games, open world games, and combining the three...still...the scope of Destiny, and the Lego game being Star Wars with 200 characters to unlock...see why I'm having a tough time deciding...

they made both mgs5 games on both the 360 and x1 yes. and if youre asking if either of the 360 versions are backwards compatible, no.

 
If you never played it, I strongly suggest Destiny. I got sucked into it until the 1st expansion and kept going back. I would still be playing it if it wasn't for the fact the Rise of Iron DLC never went on sale...which I have stated numerous times over the past half year. The Collection is always on sale, I'm at the point of fuck it...wait til Destiny 2 at this point.

I do really like Victorian era stuff, stealth games, open world games, and combining the three...still...the scope of Destiny, and the Lego game being Star Wars with 200 characters to unlock...see why I'm having a tough time deciding...

I've never thought Assassin's Creed did very well at "stealth" yeah odd I know given the series title. Played the first mission of Syndicate today for the True Achievements bean dive, and it really was trying to push you to be stealthy but just didn't work. I have a no deaths run in Dishonored so I know how to do some stealth but I can just never get it going on AssCreed. That said for atmosphere of that time period they nailed it, they were pulling crying kids off trains and trying to toss them into work in the coal factories. Everything also has kind of a haze about it. I'll be going back to finish the game off, the atmosphere was great. Just fore warning if you think a Assassin's creed game is going to be like Spinter Cell or something, it's not really stealth at all.

Stealth? Assassins Creed? Lol. Seriously though, if you have never plated a AC game, pick up Syndicate. One of the biggest problems the series had for it was gamer fatigue. Churning out the same game almost every year wore thin but if you never finished one...play either Black Flag or Syndicate. I would say play the Ezio Collection (best storyline) but once again, gamer fatigue.
 
Ended up getting Destiny Collection & Deadlight Directors Cut...and already uninstalled that new Marvel f2p game, got Jean Grey to level ten only to find I was 1k+ crystals shy of being able to buy the character...and Daredevil really is underpowered in comparison. I'd rather spend another $30 on this sale and just rebuy Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

If my PSP sells this week I'll pick up Syndicate too.

A user over on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/6krs4d/so_uhhdid_i_miss_something/) noticed that Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition is included with Xbox Game Pass. I'm guessing this was just added for July, but it wasn't ever mentioned by Major Nelson and isn't even in the list of games for the Game Pass subscription. Is there a way to search Storeparser for other games that are included in Game Pass and not listed on the official list?

 
Syndicate is completely worth it. As someone who has played (and loved) every game in the Assassin’s Creed series other than the PSP and mobile titles, Syndicate is the best. Great setting, good story, a lot of variety in gameplay, the BEST traversal mechanic in the series, and you actually see the effect your actions have on London in the missions. Yeah, you took out a Templar but you made life worse for the common man.
 
I ended up buying Super Hot before my xbl gold ended. Not looking to re-up at the moment because I don't use it much through the summer.

I never sunk 100s or even 1000s of hours in Destiny but from what I played and experienced i really enjoyed it.I had bought TTK collection awhile back and never got far enough for the expansion stories but the online was addicting.

Jade Empire Limited Edition - Bioware/EA means pretty likely, especially if OG games become part of EA Access. Microsoft originally published which may improve odds. Mass Effect 1 was one of the beta BC games, which I think was partially because they published.

My remaining list is probably MechAssault 1 and 2, the Blinx games, maybe Dead or Alive 3, and some research into Sega's offerings beyond Panzer Dragoon.

I have been doing this for the last few months just to replay some of these classics again. So far I have found the best places to locate these games cheaply is Good Will stores, Pawn Shops, and Craigs List......also the LetGo App recently has had local sellers parting with their collections. $3 seems like the average going rate in this area, but a few pawn shops give them to me for a buck a piece. If I understand Microsoft's future plans, all future consoles will support BC which is great. There were some really fun games on the OG for sure. I hooked up the 360 last night to play through Max Payne.......good times

I just moved out from an ex so packing my things this morning, I folded that very shirt maybe an hour ago. Still have my orange memory card too.

Marvel Heroes is fun, I played to 10 as Iron Man and then realized I had collected a whole 6 splinters. I'll go through and play a few other characters at least that much before I decide whether to give them any money. Business model is way too greedy, worse than Blizzard prices.

One of my new coworkers and I have bonded over 90s music and got me listening to Mariah Carey again. I've played way too much Bioshock in the last ~2 weeks because now I'm convinced her song Fantasy is about Little Sisters harvesting Adam and their affection for Mr. Bubbles:

Does Rare Replay ever go on sale? I just got an XB1 last week, and that's the main thing I'm wanting for it for when I finish the Halo games. Not sure if waiting for a deal is feasible.

Yeah, that's bad timing right there, they gave it away to a couple hundred thousand people probably.

I think it's ~$10 at Gamestop used, but I think it's the kind of thing most would prefer digital since it's so many random games you might not want to pull a disc out for.

I just wish digital prices made any semblance of sense. I can get it for $18 on disc, but it's a full $30 for a digital copy. =\

Yeah, it's called Bloomy, works like charm.

Considering the big giveaway, I'm surprised they didn't discount it again for the current sale. If you feel like waiting, it'll probably hit sub-$10 in November.

Also, welcome to the X1 club. I'm still... 60% in last gen because of money, but backwards compatibility has made the cheap system I got last winter totally worth it.

 
I see two Tropico 5 editions. Is the Complete version the best? It looks like it includes the Penultimate Edition plus three DLC items.

Thanks. I've got a PS4 with about 50 games (not including digital downloads and PS+ stuff), but I decided to get an Xbox so I'd have a 4K BD player for when we upgrade our TV. As an added bonus, my new blu-ray player can run Xbox software. :v So I got the Master Chef Collection (those aliens are really hungry), and I want to get Rare Replay, too, since I loved Perfect Dark on the N64.

Just downloaded F1 2015 last night, always wanted to try it out as I do enjoy F1 but I've always thought it'd get a bit boring in video game form so I never picked it up.

Join www.the100.io for scheduled Destiny team play. You will get a lot of help for the best gear and strats. But, Destiny is full of people who rage and take the game a little too seriously as well, so be ready to ignore and move on to the next group if you get too much of that.
 
Damn, I'm replaying Max Payne again on the 360....remedy used to be the dignity

They should make a reboot of the first with today's controls and graphics.
 
I can't remember if there's any other Canadian here but EB Games is running their promo for Canada 150. There's a bunch of old BC 360 games for 1.50 and some newer games for this gen for $15.

At the one I went to, I saw Alan Wake, Gears 3, Halo Reach and 3 for 1.50. And Halo 5, Gears UE, Fallout 4 for $15.
