I think a 3D fighter is the more obvious choice, but the only one that's still semi-alive and has characters with the right personality would be Soul Calibur, which isn't much of a stretch and already half represented by Yoshimitsu. The Virtua Fighter characters have so little personality to them, and I just don't think DOA would be a great fit, though maybe one of the ninjas. A female guest would be nice too.

My thoughts based on most obvious villain or anti-hero with some popularity, or personality "fitting in" with Tekken:
Mortal Kombat - Shao Kahn, Scorpion, Sub Zero (except was just in IJ2), Mileena?. (Not sure if magic would be an issue with Tekken)

Soul Calibur - Nightmare, Seigfreid, Mitsurugi, Ivy (Time period could be an issue here, since characters seem to be canon to Tekken lore.)

Dead or Alive - Ryu Hayabusa, Kasumi, Ayane (villains all suck)

Virtua Fighter - Sarah Bryant, Akira (villains all suck)

Ruling out: more characters from Capcom or SNK - though they have the most obvious great options, Blazblue/Guilty Gear - too crazy

I'd be more than satisfied if it's just more SNK characters honestly. Since they have more than enough to go through so long as they don't go bottom of the barrel and say "fuck it! Let's go through the World Heroes roster!"

You can skip Beyond Two Souls. As someone that enjoyed Heavy Rain pretty well (and Ellen Paige after the movie "Super"), the writing in that game was so terrible and I gave no shits for any of the characters. They call it an open game where your decisions matter, but none of the decisions were things I wanted to do. Those games need to be less pretentious and have at least a bit of humor in them or something because it just feels like a bunch of film school students with no one to answer to.

I Got Ni No Kuni and ALL the PS3 "Tales of..." games. When and where will I have time for those long ass RPG's?? When? Yet somehow in my head I figured "I'll get these and maybe one day I'll beat them". NOPE! Ain't going to happen in all reality, but I got them all along with 10 or so Ratchet and Clank games to start,

 
Tough question about the backlog, I have 300+ games on the xbox360+1, of which I actually want to play about half (if not less). But they're not going anywhere because they're all digital. So I guess technically it would be all of them?

I'll offer a counterpoint and say don't skip it. I found it to be a fantastic game. I liked it quite a bit more then Heavy Rain.
 
All this backlog talk reminds me why I avoid games like Andromeda (which I'm still enjoying a lot).

I enjoyed Heavy Rain so much that I played it almost in one sitting, so I would probably like Beyond even if it's flawed.

 
Anyone else notice Groo was banned?  

Was looking over an older thread and saw his name in Red.  Played some Borderlands 2 with him seemed like a decent enough guy.

 
After a lot of consideration I have decided to pass on Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD. Reading reviews it sounds like the content is minimal and they screwed up the controls on it. The controls is the main reason I loved the Tony Hawk series, you could feel good playing with minimal effort and do tons of tricks. RIP Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, may your delisting go smooth tomo.

Every game that I have (physical, digital, DLC) that I eventually plan on playing through/beating. With the onslaught of the Games with Gold, I've been trying to catalog everything so I have a working idea of what I can hold off on buying in the future. I also tend to be bit of a completionist (all achievements) but I'm working on getting over that.

If the DLC were included with the levels from THPS3 I'd be more inclined to get it. I played it on PS3 and it was a nice nostalgia trip, the controls weren't as bad as some people say. It's delisting is no great loss, though.

 
Anyone else notice that the $5 Xbox cards (which were currently the Hot Deal for this month) are no longer available as rewards in Microsoft/Bing rewards?

I didn't realize that Shadow of Mordor was getting an update to import data to Shadow of War. I'm even more impressed and going to back to finish the story mode instead of dicking around murdering endless orcs.

 
To me backlog is whatever I give a shit about that I want to play. Being a digital only owner on the X1 (for the most part, I'm still getting KH3 on disc thanks to the Target glitch years ago where my pre-order is $36) there are games that I just regret buying or don't feel the need to play anymore. Obviously since It's digital I can't trade in my copy so I'm stuck with it For example, Runbow is not part of my backlog despite only playing two minutes of it. Because I will probably never play it again.

I am actually down to 42 X1/360 games in my backlog because of this point. If I were to count games i don't give a shit about anymore probably 60+.

Edit: Can't forget about OG XBox backlog at this point either. Though I'm sure that will be minimal if there are not going to be a lot of titles like Phil Spencer hinted.

That said 42 s way too low and I need to buy some more stuff on sale. So bring on the deals!

Never noticed anything screwed up with the controls, not having all the music was a bit of a letdown but that's just the way it goes.

From what I've seen and tried it is just manual entry. I use Grouvee.com (stupid name) for my list at the moment. There are a couple others as well out there.

beyond is one of my most disappointing, i couldn't wait for it to be over

It's all manual entry. Took some down time to get mine all up and running, but I prefer it to a spreadsheet. Helps keep me on task and impulse purchase habits in check a bit as well.

OT, but was discussed here. Am I misremembering that the Fifth Element 4K Blu-Ray from Best Buy was supposed to come with a $5 gift card? Nothing came with it or by email and I don’t see it in my order details online. But could swear that it did because I thought it had pushed me over the edge to buy it.

Been catching up on the thread and I'm surprised so many of you are excited for kingdom hearts 3. I rarely meet others who have actually played/liked it
 
I actually never played KH1+2 so I'm waiting on another Amazon glitch sale for the PS4 remixes, or some sort of hail mary that those get ported to X1. But I am definitely going to buy and play through KH3 when it comes here regardless of what happens.

It amazes me that they are going through the project despite not bringing KH1+2 to the XB1. But I hold hope that we get a late port in the summer/fall next year before the release of KH3.

I was reading on reddit that people constantly spam the directors asking for steam/switch/XB1 ports so much that all those questions get ignored now which is a shame. Phil Spencer plz.

 
Finished up the runbow adventure mode then went into multiplayer to clean up some more achievements, I don't think the game is that good and am not going back to finish every level. Hopefully GwG picks up in quality next month.
