Yeah they showed a video clip of it for a few seconds at least, reminded me of a zerg rush x10, made me think about booting the game up again

edit: NVM i see it's another thing in Halo Wars 2 not part of the season pass, which might be the shittiest season pass of all time. It can go back to carrying on without me.

I just picked up the TCL55P605 as it's pretty much confirmed the 50" and 65" have been cancelled. I had enough Best Buy credit not to have to spend anything out of pocket. It sucks going down from a 60" but the picture looks quite good.

I can't wait to compare load times with the one X vs hybrid drive xbox one. Every game so far I've tested, loads several seconds faster depending on the save file size. Fallout 4 for instance loaded at least 20 to 30secs faster from the title screen to in game when my save file is 1.9gb in size.

Other games like world of tanks, I always load in first before anyone else does in every match.

Gta 5, loading into single player an then to online takes maybe a minute. Far far faster than the non hybrid drive xbox ones. This why I never opted to get a one S. One s still has the same 5400rpm hdd that the OG xbox one has and so does the hybrid drive model but that small amount of SSD memory makes it worth it over the one S imo.

Gonna be Madden/FIFA/NFS/NHL/Battlefront stuff. Nothing new, doubtful of any surprises.

I am not watching, but if you are, let us know if they announce that The Godfather II and Amalur go BC.

Maybe ME Andromeda campaign DLC.......oh......yeah.

In regards to Amalur going BC, with the developer (38 Studios) going under shortly after release and even the State of Rhode Island getting involved in order to recoup some of their losses, I doubt it.

Tempted to get the FH3 Blizzard/Hotwheels combo at $17. I don't have FH3 yet, but I will get it eventually. Should I wait for it to go on sale again or should I get it now in case it doesn't drop again?

I think you're safe to wait on the FH3 combo. BM has been on sale by itself twice this year and while Hot Wheels hasn't, it's only been out a few months. The combo has been on sale twice this year before this week, including in June for the same price as now. So yeah, if you haven't gotten FH3, no reason to jump in now.

I can't think of a negative. I plug the converter into the front of the PS4 Pro USB slot, then connect the converter to my controller via a very thin 10-foot long micro USB cord so that the cord is barely noticeable and I'm suddenly happy with the PS4. And props to Sony for having the ability to swap buttons on a system-wide basis, so I can swap R1 with R2, etc. (Xbox has this feature as well.) The button swap was a must for Yakuza 0, as the triggers were just a better feel for R1/L1 due to their frequent use.

To complete the look, I had a controller painted. I'm a happy camper.

I'm a huge fan of The Division and sunk hundreds of hours into it. Honestly the Underground and Last Stand DLC was pretty mediocre but Survival was a whole new game and absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it.
 
Well to be fair, they get an influx of new games to resell, but more importantly they bring back old customers. I hadn't stepped inside a GS for years till this summer. Now because of these deals I have a new XOne S, an X on preorder, and enough credit to cover games for awhile.....plus I am going in the store and buying from them again.
 
so far there is no b2g1 that coincides with the extra trade in bonus, either. you'll have to rely on PUR coupons if you have them. it really was a perfect storm last time.

 
I want to try and build up some more credit but I just don't think I'll have anywhere near enough for an X without dipping deep into my current gen library. Only have 90 left at the movement and 60 of it is for Destiny. Guess I'll hit have to dig through what I have again.

I'm on board for Fear Effect, always wanted to check it out back during the PS1 days but never could and never went back. Better that that weird Kickstarted spin-off thing.

Have a feeling the values won’t be as good as last time. They’ll probably be like they were at the end after they collapsed.

That said if anyone finds some amazing flips. Let us know (Not stepping into that sewer GS thread).

Current trade in values look like trash. But GAF says to keep hope towards the end of the month. We'll see.

I have a few games to dump since they got remasters/new releases to buy the remasters lol

Grab that stock at the pawns man and the trade values will do you right. I grabbed COD IW today with Deadpool....X1 both for $10 combined. Tell em what you'll pay and walk away if they won't deal. With the 70% bump those 2 combined will pull in over $25 @ a cost of 10........singles and doubles win the game.

Still trying to figure out the Resident Evil Season Pass and DLC before the sale ends. I've seen some confusing articles from smaller sites that there is another piece of paid DLC coming plus a free one, but I thought someone posted on here that there is just a free one coming still. Thinking of picking up that and Sunset Overdrive.

This is how you sell your new mid-cycle console, Microsoft.

These are actual enhancements. They're noticeable; they're practically next-gen. Dolby freaking Atmos.

Instead they wasted our time with trailers we just saw two months ago that didn't look that great in the first place....

I showed up yesterday to see the before & after: the Enhancements that 'X' brings - some reason why I should upgrade - and this trailer, a day late, delivers.

I'm hoping for a sale on Friday the 13th.  I've wanted to play it for a while, but just can't pull the trigger at full price.  A 10% discount and the release of the single player is my completely arbitrary threshold for purchase.

I beat it once for that reason alone. I hope this remake fixes the ammo problem. It's also laughable to see bosses move in a continuous loop; as if it was part of a pre-rendered video.

You know what else was brutal? Changing CD's. This game ran on FOUR discs and the game isn't even that long.

It's totally worth it, but yeah, The Division as a whole is a game you need to have somewhat of a devotion to. It's not really something you can play a couple hours a week and get very far.

The Survival DLC is super fun. In PvE, it's a race w/ the rest of the server to get materials/gear/guns/meds and you have to manage your infection, warmth, hunger, thirst all while getting gear and killing anything standing in your way.

Since the first Fear Effect came out near the end of the PS1 life-cycle, I wonder if there were still people back then (in the year 2000) hating on CD's for replacing cartridges and how much those "ruined gaming" as a 3-hour game needed 4 discs.
