Funny as I'm going through the same shit and it appears to be some sort of systems error/glitch.Actually it's not funny so sorry to hear that and keep trying as it sometimes helps as I was wanting to buy Mordheim City of the Damned and I had to try about 7-9 times.

Turns out I have 3 1986 Audi #2 Sport Quattro's. The one I used this morning I think was a S1 896. I also have a S2 944 class one that I set my personal best with. None of the 3 seem to be a specific tuner so maybe just buy a S2 class and see.

The drift zone I do this at in Blizzard Mountain is Frigid Slopes Drift zone

Has anyone played Streets of Rage or Golden Axe online yet? I'm wondering if the games have a drop-in, drop-out feature like Final Fight and Dungeons & Dragons, or do you have to wait in a lobby for another player?

I was trying to get a kinect adapter shipped from one gamestop an hour away to the store close to me, and one of the clerks just gave me one that came in with a trade in. YMMV, but you might try asking if they've had any get traded in.

Played it a long time ago but remember really liking it. Played thru the 2nd game as well. My bro-in-law was too scared to finish it (but he's a baby)!

 
There's so many nods to halo in destiny 2. I was wondering if that tank in the game trailers was gonna be in the game and sure enough, it was.

There was even a nod to halo 3 odst when there's a story mission to fight in the city.

The whole story is much more fleshed out and there's genuine emotion to each an every character now.

The micro transactions is very minimal in what it can give an advantage over people who don't buy it.

There's so many minor improvements over D1 that it makes it a genuine successful sequel.

The ability to fast travel on the map rather than having to drive all the way over to the other side of the map is one minor improvement.

All the weapons feel so good an sound so great, as well as the sound track for the game.

If you think I'm giving the game to much credit, think again. I was gonna stop playing D1 after the taken King expansion cause for how expensive it is but a friend bought it for me an I played it for awhile and after the next expansion, I just stopped. No point giving more money into a game when it's about to die. So little content or anything interesting to do outside pvp.

Pvp was the only thing keeping d1 player base alive at that point.

D2 is indeed more of the same but it improves on destiny 1 in all the right ways that its kind of difficult for me to find any direct flaws in it compared to d1. Only people who probably wouldn't enjoy would be the ones who don't like grinding or collecting loot cause that's what destiny is all about basically.
 
For those that have played both on the dreamcast how is Sega Bass Fishing compared to Sega Marine Fishing? I really enjoyed Sega Marine with all the different fishes you could catch.

I'm glad you're enjoying Destiny 2, I'm still going to wait for the bundle after the first expansion, and get it on PC for 60+fps.

fuck UPS, they were supposed to deliver batteries on Thursday, got delayed to today, and then delayed indefinitely. Such bullshit. Their support Twitter gave me a generic response which only serves to piss me off more.

if we talking about fuck UPS, I had my family send up a package with a ton of my clothes to me, it was delivered to a home in west Virginia, none of us live in that state and the house where it was delivered claim they didn't get it. fuck UPS

Didn't want to spam-quote the whole thing again, but all your points were right on the money for me. And I'm one of the few who kept grinding in D1 even after it was mostly a lost cause and just Trials of Osiris was keeping it going (barely played that after year 1 anyway).
Also glad so many are picking up the Halo vibes. I'm glad some of the old guard at Bungie still remember what those days were like. The story is great in this one.

On the topic of Destiny, I know I'm in the minority but I liked Peter Dinklage's voice work. Nolan North is great and all, but I was fine with the original stuff. I don't think anyone would have even commented on it if the original, pre-effects voice work hadn't leaked. That could have been the direction they wanted him to go for a cold, emotionless robot voice. I think the far greater problem came from scrapping the story in the last year of production and slapping something else together. It may have been difficult getting Dinklage to re-record newly scripted lines, which would leave them stuck with vague comments they could work into the new story.

Anyways, anytime I hear "Destiny" and "story" in the same sentence I just wonder what the original vision was that got scrapped to bring us a tired cosmic good v evil power fantasy.

I liked Dinklebot better than Northbot too.

Just listen to the two versions of "it's in the walls" to see how Dinklebot was better.

And much of it is generic scifi mumbo jumbo with characters who get so little screen time that you can't remember their names. By the time TTK came out they got better about the NPCs not just being quest bots, but IMO it was too little too late.

Most of the back story was just posted online and unlocked by engaging certain enemies or completing certain missions. Unless you took the time to read it all, the game itself never gave a coherent narrative.

In short, you'll be fine.
 
^this. In D1 you're just kinda dropped right into the story anyway. And yes, much of it feels like sci fi mumbo jumbo, but not in a bad way. Destiny is fun, I just had a hard time staying committed to it.
 
I think you'll get the broad strokes if you skip D1 and go right into 2, but not a ton of catch up. But apparently a lot of Ghost's dialogue is changed to be newbie friendly if you don't have a veteran account. The game recognizes what you did and didn't play individually to a degree, meaning if you skipped some of the DLCs those elements will be referenced differently.

I haven't watched this but I've seen it recommended a few times. 90 minutes to cover all the basic lore and events from D1. Might be worth checking out.

Edit: just watched the intro and I guess it doesn't really cover lore, just the actual events in game and stuff directly tied to it. Still the best option. If it really covered the type of lore he specifically mentions skipping then it'd be like 4 hours long at least.

finished up arkham origins, game has way too many multiplayer achievements for my liking, overall it's a very mediocre game my batman got stuck in place 3 times I encountered a number of other glitches

 
should I buy forza horizon 2 for $20 or wait for a lower price? I am hesitant to buy it because I still have Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 1 in my backlog... and I got them both for $10 each

 
Do you like the horizon style? Horizon is different than the main series, less professional racing and more street racing type gameplay. Twenty is fair for a recent game but if you're just gonna add it to your catalog, assuming you wanna play the first one before the second, then I'd say wait because who knows, MS might discount it further

bro at this point you know you're never gonna play those games, and even if you do, you'll probably only give it a handful of hours before you move on to something else. Might as well wait until its a GWG, which if I had to guess would be sometime in the next year since it looks like all the Forzas will eventually be free.
