I keep going to places where stuff kills me in 1 hit on Normal. First I took a boat to an island by talking to a lady that only shows up at night in the first town.
Then I went down a well in the first town for a quest. Both adventures ended with me dying in 2 hits.

I ended up getting to the point where
you bring the hydra head to the other town. I got lost there and died quickly in the Pawn Guild (or whatever it is called). Then I went back to the first city and got a quest to go to a place called witchsomething

Is there fast travel that I'm missing? Takes a long time to get anywhere with stamina running out every few seconds.
 
^You'll need a Portcrystal to fast travel in DD. More fun to run through the night when all the spooky things come out.

Thanks for posting you could play at the website too. I had been playing from my phone and my wife's (missed a day or two with hers). Lost on all 3 today.

 
Downloaded BF2 Beta on XBox One this morning but didn't have time to play it.  Also was in the process of downloading on my PS4 when I left.  Hope to get on after work tonight.

What was the free code again?  My mobile browser has it saved where I've been trying multiple times each day but my texting app doesn't and the search feature on this site is completely useless.

Jimbo already replied, but wanted to mention that you could have loaded up the entry page in your mobile browser and copy/pasted. I did that for the first time (and sadly, the last time) today, because I hadn't realized it was valid to enter both ways with the same code. I did not win.

Was considering MK XL, but watched some videos and reminded myself that it’s the same boring assed fighter from 20 years ago with HD blood. Was also conserving Dying Light, but went to delete some downloaded games and shamed myself for realizing I had Watch Dogs 1 and 2, For Honor Gold and all of the RE games from the bundle price mistake thatvhave never been stared up (WD1 I played for 30 minutes or so one night). Decided not to buy anything. Played about a half hour of For Honor. What an uninspired game. No wonder it shit the bed, saleswise.

Preordered Shadow of War from Best Buy last night. Excited to play that. I swear, I’m going to go more physical, so that I can dump games that I’ll never actually play instead of having them in my installed/ready to install list mocking me forever.

Anyone try the Battlefront 2 beta yet? I downloaded it and fired it up but couldn’t get past the screen where you accept the terms, etc. Didn’t do anything when I pressed A or any other button. Nor would it scroll (thought you may need to go the end). Nothing.

So deleted it and it was redownloading when I left for work.

Just curious if anyone else had that issue.

I'm fairly certain that Mother 3 (Earthbound 2) for gba had a full unofficial English translation done if you are willing to resort to less legit means like playing a rom on an emulator (and when they don't give you any choice it is hard to argue against this path). It's still in my backlog so I can't comment on quality as I still need to finish the second half of Earthbound Zero on nes and replay Earthbound before I get to it.

The website works the same for codes from either console. Directly on the console, not sure.

Well, yes they do say what content it is, but that feature wasn't always there, not sure when it started but I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case last year, when I still only had my 360. Back then it either was redeemed immediately or the code was already used.

 
Finally got into the Battlefront 2 beta. If anyone else is having issues getting past the user agreement, try a hard boot of the console or disconnecting and reconnecting your controller on that page.

Loving the space combat — even though I completely suck at it.
 
Does anyone know how far ahead you can have your XBL subscription. Have the bing points for another year but don't want to claim it if I couldn't redeem it.

You can't go over 36 months, but why not go ahead and redeem points for a code? They don't expire.
 
Man, the Battlefront 2 beta is still flakier than shit. Stopped playing and went back and the damn thing would not recognize the controller at all on the menus. Tried restarting, turning the controller off and on.... still wouldn’t work.

Urghh...seems like EA blowing the Xbox One side of things as I see others reporting issues on the forums as well.
 
I miss the bing rewards.  I got myself banned a few years ago because I was using my main and a few dummy accounts to rack up amazon cards.  I thought surely no one is paying that much attention to this.  It wasn't long after I using about 5 accounts that they all got banned.

Didn’t have any trouble with the BF2 beta. I played a bit and it’s as fun as I remembered. I think they added more to thing on screen like more birds and such, or maybe I just didn’t really noticed during my play time at EA E3 event thing.

Have you ever tried having jigsaw puzzles for them? I Bring it up mostly because majority of the comedians I listen to are in therapy and bring up how their therapist have jigsaw puzzles laid out so they can work on them and especially get a sense of accomplishment in completing them.

They must be making money. I saw three Doctor Who, four Harry Potter and six different DC adult coloring books on a single display in Barnes and Noble the other day. We'll have a coloring book for each game by the time this is finished.

These have gotten pretty popular in the past year or so. They started out aimed at what I assume is middle-aged women, but I guess they caught on younger than expected and we more recently saw a flood of stuff aimed at geek stuff. I think they're pretty easy to be created and dirt cheap to produce. So selling at $10+ they have very little risk.

I don't think using them for therapy is a bad idea. I run a lot of the events at TRU and sometimes that involves coloring. Seems pretty relaxing to me, and it gives you something simple to focus on.

About this Halo one specifically, I'm not sure how well the 343 designs lend themselves to the concept, being so detailed. I guess the previews can tell a person if they're on board or not. Most of the books I've looked at have been pretty detailed, but not out of control like this one.

I'm referring primarily to teenagers, but yes, when discussing trauma history or anxiety-inducing subjects, especially in group settings, it's a good way for people to keep occupied and still listen or stay present, not unlike playing with a fidget spinner. Many find it relaxing. It also is preferable to people taking their phones out, which everyone does impulsively, which distracts in a way that coloring or fidget toys don't.

 
This guys sources are usually pretty good, and it lines up with other rumors I've seen around fighting games related discussion sites. He basically says MvC Infinite had a way lower budget than anyone was guessing, some of the really bad character models were because they were recycled from old games with different art styles, and that Monster Hunter and Black Panther were finished months before launch but decided to be sold as DLC (which lines up with them both being in the story and having a stage in the base game.) I don't really get why Capcom would do this, you'd think the Disney deal would have meant decent funding. I would compare it to EA and Battlefront, but I think that did have a good budget, they just focused entirely on making the game look great visually.

Rarely play mobile games. Don't pay attention to that scene but if someone recommends one and it looks interesting (and free of course), I'll download it and add it to the waybacklog.

And never seen Stranger Things (don't have Netflix). Reading about it though, sounds like I would like the show.
