Yah, once I got that complete a game achievement completion out of the way I'm flying. Day 2 I got the Versus tags from vote online in FM6 (lol yeah I usually played that solo believe it or not) and own the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2RS in FM7, (which was chump change). I actually spent more on the 2015 McLaren P1 GTR for completing tier 13 in the game, although they did give me a discount lol. Onto Day 3 before I hit the hay tonight/this morning lol.

I played a bit of the second on the Xbox since it was borrowed to me and decided to give it a try for kicks. Sadly, I didn't know nor care what was about. Though at that point, my disdain towards Japanese games was so big, a forklift simulator was not going to make me change my mind. Don't care if people consider them "masterpieces", the second one bored the shit out of me long enough back in late 2004 or early 2005 that I dropped it like a bad habit and never went back. No regrets.

But, I know I'm in the minority.

I don't know if Shenmue 1 was "amazing" back in the day, but I do know that Shenmue II didn't grab me at all. Maybe one day when I'm really bored, I'll go back to it.

I'll also say this, Shenmue 3 has got to make a lot of changes from Shenmue I. I watched Giant Bomb's endurance run of it recently and *whew*. Let's just say games have come a long way since then. I know I'd have never made it through playing it, only the 'witty banter' got me through watching it. But hey, what else were they making anyway?

 
Is Okami a disc or a code in a case? I was going to get it at BB with a reward cert and GCU, but dummy me issued a $15 cert and the store pickup incentive discount makes the game 14.99 so it won't friggin work with it.

I ordered Okami and PUBG from BB, and set it up to have my Mom pick it up for me, and I didn't get the $1 pick up in person discount. Do I just suck? It seems like too much work to complain for just $2. At very least, I will not subject my Mom to try to negotiate for $2.

Finished Strider, it's nice and short but fun while it lasts. Glad I didn't actually buy it since I don't see myself coming back to it, but it's very good.

Torn between Mass Effect 2 replay and Fallout 4. Now's the time for Fallout, but I'm always legitimately afraid of starting games like that because they are so easy to sink time into.

I wanted to look into picking up the Victor Vran bundle that was on sale, but working open-close Sat-Sun-Mon wipes me the hell out, and deals wrapping at Tue 5 AM CST these days instead of noon has wrecked my last-minute impulse buying habits.

Yeah, if only older consoles still worked today so any generation could play any previous generations games.

There's literally a DVD that comes with the second game that plays the cinematics and explains the story of the first game. But, your disdain for forklifts was so strong you probably didn't notice.

Nah, offended by someone pretending to know what they're talking about.

I beat the first game multiple times and when the second one came out I wasn't as into gaming so I never finished it. The first one didn't take forever to beat, at least not for me when I was 11-12. You just made a shit ton of assumptions and put a lot of words in my mouth, congrats.

Would b easier if it could be the same game...so I have to play 12 different games and also have a lookout on the TA Ratio...which can easily change when it's only about 0.01 difference we are talking about here...hmm. Best start with a 1.01 Achievement

So the discussion on the website is that it only needs to be a min of 2 game that you can alternate back and forth. That makes it easier I guess. I have a lot of unplayed games I started for a Bean Dive so I should be ok on this challenge actually.

-Yeti Hunt mode which is 5 Mei vs 1 Winston. Description sounds like Evolve Lite.

-Christmas updates for one new map and the same ones from last year

-Lots of new skins and all the old stuff returning.

Bungie admitted they blew it with locking off so much content if you don't buy DLC, and backpedaled on most of it, while giving an explanation for why certain things will remain locked off. They finally did go the route on a lot of things of only locking you out if it's actually content from the DLC. They're also making the Prestige achievement available to all again, but reverting the original raid.

Since nothing of this sort ever really happened with D1, I think it's clear that the big backlash in the community and (probably much more importantly) the refusal to buy the DLC and/or large amount of refunds of the base game actually got them to react.

Don't remember as this was more than 12 perhaps 13 years ago, a friend of mine left the country for a full year and lent me her Xbox while she was away. Shenmue II was one of the games she had along with others. Still, I didn't care for the game back then and don't care for it now.

However, if you're excited for Shenmue III, then be excited. Don't get all worked up just because someone else doesn't share your love for those games.

Yeah, I think it was mainly the refunds. Money talks.

Bungie locked content behind the DLC in D1 as well, but the main difference this time, in addition to the pent up disappointment/frustration in this sequel, is that achievements/trophies were locked behind the DLC. That was not the case in D1. This was a "legitimate" reason to ask Microsoft/Sony for a refund as you couldn't complete (i.e., get all the achievements for) the base game.

I was in my MS account and saw them in the recent purchases.

Zen is releasing a temporarily free two pack of tables for FX3: Carnivals and Legends.  Free thru December 19th.  Link isn't working right now.

Sword Coast Legends is getting delisted at the end of December and it will go on sale next week at 60% off making it $4.

Not from TA, but Shenmue was a groundbreaking and ambitious game in a way similar to Fable since both had grand dreams and pushed envelopes, but both had their shortcomings and unfulfilled promises.  Lots of people played it, but it definitely wasn't for everyone.

And people were actually getting a refund over that? My license for PES 2017 was taken away from my account and I was basically told "tough luck" by Xbox Support and no refund issued.

Playstation has a lot of games on sale right now which includes Pinball FX Tables and Marvel Puzzle Quest. We hopefully will get these on sale soon.

Also got D3 almost done, two 3.0 ratio achievements already accomplished and one more to go. I got it when I went with the hotseat achievement in Trackmania Turbo & I Dare You for FM6, which uses the Back to the Pack (a Super Rare mod) to achieve a win from last place. The mod was only available via luck and I had to throw in 12 million credits to find it. Luckily, considering some of the people who pointed it out on TA that they had to spend up to 48M before they got the mod. Wow...

Ok, need one more 3.0 ratio achievement.

There's YouTube (now 4K) and YouTube TV (live TV/DVR service)

I don't pay for or use YouTube TV so not sure if that does 4K as well.

The Mixpot rewards appeared in my Ready to Install on my main account. My wife's account was logged in at the same time, and she got Goat Simulator and the Kinsano Leader Pack sent as redeemable codes.

I'd much rather prefer codes so I can give away the stuff I'll never use. I'm one of the few people that actually paid for Goat Simulator and I still never finished it.

EDIT: Just double checked my main account Order History, and no codes for those two rewards, just an Install link. My wife's account shows them as codes. Not sure if I auto-redeemed them when I read the Xbox Live PMs on my console.

Anyone awaiting their Mixpot rewards should check your Order History on the Xbox.com website. (Click over your profile in upper right corner, then View Microsoft account.)

I just want them to fix the damn Netflix app. It’s totally screwed up still, at least on the X but I think all consoles that support HDR by putting everything in HDR mode and things that aren’t look like shit. As I’ve mentioned before my Samsung TV’s app looks miles better in comparison (even the video that is HDR).

I guess I didn't get the Mixpot, unless they're being distributed in waves. I haven't received a message, and I don't have anything showing up in my account. This would be the first time I've missed it though, so maybe it's still coming.

This has been a Top 3 most-want backward compatibility title for me for a year and a half.

Amazon had a Xbox 360 code page up for many EA titles (not for sale) including DA2 before E3 2016 with a release date of July 1st 2016 that said "works with Xbox One" ... but took the DA2 page down shortly thereafter. Makes me sad just thinking about it.

The Switch version is pretty cool, grab it there too if you have one. You can do a vertical layout in handheld mode and it uses HD rumble.

There is actually two "Youtube" apps. My girlfriend had one installed on her S already, and I transferred the one I had installed (along with everything else on my X) to her S. The one she had first has much fewer and worse reviews than the one I have. They are different versions, both fully updated, both called "Youtube," hers has a white background and mine has a red background.

How did you watch the awards? If your Gamertag (or MS account can't remember) wasn't linked you wouldn't get anything. I signed into my account through the website on my PC and left it on for a couple hours running at 144p so as not to waste my precious bandwidth. I received everything on the eighth.

Watched it on the mixer ap logged in w Microsoft account. Not very long. Maybe 10 min on Xbox stream and 10 on main stream. Did everyone else get theirs?
