Wow, Gigantic is really really pretty. Not sure why I decided to give it a go, but I'm enjoying my time so far.

Haven't bought the Necromancer yet because I don't know what platform to get it for. Choice paralysis between PC and Xbox.

This is a fantastic idea. I don’t buy physical much this generation so passing the game along would be a great way to try stuff out and keep my collection from getting out of hand. Count me in, if we have a list going.
 
One of the new Xbox Live Rewards MyMissions titled "Being Dr Rewards" includes a bunch of awesome block buster titles currently on sale. It's basically buy $30 worth of good games + $2 of crap avatar items, plus earn 5 achievements in one game and get $13 back in rewards. Too many awesome games to list.

I personally picked up:

Edith Finch $13

Random Avatar item $2

Total = $35

Minus $13 back in rewards eventually will come to $22 OOP or ~$7.33 per game. Pretty happy with that.

Mine has sped up due to “arcade” games now having 1,000 achievement points and trying to beat my brother to 100,000 gamerscore. We are competitive like that. 😂

supposedly we can earn an extra hundred points a day if we download and use edge app this month

even though it says that (earn extra 100 this month) right above the mobile reward total for the day it still only shows 100/100 and using edge hasn't brought up any point totals yesterday or today

so dunno what's up with that

So I take it that games purchased just within the past two weeks are not eligible? I got Observer and Edith Finch as part of the holiday sales. Those two alone would have put me over the $30 mark.
 
Has anyone played Euro Fishing? I used to love Sega Bass Fishing.. Wondering if this is anything like that. I wish they had a fishing controller for the X1. I sold one of the 360 Bass Pro bundles with the fishing controller a long time ago for $100 (I think I paid $10 from Toys R Us' huge clearance a few years back).

I believe that we should. Although I am much more annoyed by when people use "literally" for situations that we already assume are literal, ie "I literally ate an entire pizza," "Thor is literally my favorite MCU character," or "I am literally lost on how to use the word literally."

I actually think this is a great idea as well. We just have to make sure that we have people to "keep the chain going".

This would DEFINITELY give me more motivation to actually finish a game.

I wonder if we should start a new threat for this.

Maybe have a list of trusted participants that you pass the game on to the next person.

Maybe at the beginning of the month or every other month the person mails it to the next person on the list under their name.

hmmm..... The ideas are a-flowin'

Do you already have the game itself, via GWG or otherwise? Because $12.50 is for the game and DLC, which IMHO is a good price. The base game alone is $7.50, making the DLC $6 extra. I paid $6 for the season pass on its own and it was worth that. If you already have the base game, though, it's not worth $12.50. Better to wait for the season pass to go on sale by itself.

It's not nearly as fast paced as Sega Bass Fishing, but it's a fun relaxing game; I play it online with a bud every once in a while, sometimes it has A LOT of downtime though, but it's a fun enough game, however do note that the DLC was handled awfully if you care, they released one dlc, then a season pass that doesn't include that dlc, so you have to buy the base game, a single dlc, and a season pass to get it all (I only have the base game but if you want it all it's a mess haha)

 
I think I'm going to pick up Furi with the last of my Destiny 2 refund credit. I've heard a lot of good about it.

Finished the fifth ending of Nier Automata last night. I still have some sidequests left but I clocked in at about 36 hours. I don't see how people were taking 50+ unless they were counting grinding to fully upgrade all weapons. Anyways, it's a fantastic game really showing how video games can be used to convey their story and themes in a truly unique way compared to other mediums. It's not perfect, but I think all elements were firing on all cylinders and this made the whole all that much stronger in the end. And while I don't think it's necessary to enjoy the game, having played the first Nier paid off later on in the story. Square going to Platinum to develop is probably the best decision they've made on anything in a while, I hope they use them again for the sequel but even if not I'll be on board, and I want to go back and check out Yoko Taro's older stuff like the Drakengard series.

has anyone played the van helsing games? in terms of 3 vs 1 is one better than the other? 2 hasn't been gwg yet so not like I could play them in order

I had this same promotion last month. Mine always showed 200/100 once I was done with my iOS Edge searches for the day.

What I do on iOS Edge is this:

1) Head to bing.com

2) Click the 3 bars in upper right corner.

3) Make sure you are logged in. If not, log in.

4) Scroll down to the Trending on Bing section, and click one of those stories.

5) Click on those links, scrolling to the right to get new ones. Only need to do it 20 times.

It's two new areas with a handful of sidequests and a 'main' narrative arc for each. Overall, each new section is probably two hours of content, and completely separate from the main game. Also adds some weapons and other things like that. It's fun for what it is, but I'm glad I didn't pay more than what I did.

yeah I have all this but no points showing up when i search

100/200, signed in and everything just not registering for some reason

these points are always such a pain when something changes

Any word on updates to the myVIP rewards percentages? It seems like they make such a big deal about it each year, but so far I’ve heard nothing about a reset and my rank is still there.

Calendar year from last year will be rank for next year.

In September 2015, a year after we first launched MyVIP, we re-evaluated the program and made adjustments where necessary. I’ve read this. They usually have an “under construction” or other message on the VIP page. Mine still reads with the 2017 rank. I hadn’t heard if they had moved the reset date or done away with it altogether (as they did a couple of years ago).

Took a bit of playing around but got all green checks on mine. The MU series is newer too so I’d be surprised if it didn’t at least support HDR10 (mine technically is an 8-bit panel but still supports it).

Even though I had already turned on HDR Color for the port I was using, turning on Game Mode finally enabled it.

Yeah I don't know dude, it doesn't come up like that for me - I'm about the last cup category in campaign if that matters. I'm able to play Split Screen, if I had a local racer who wanted to but I live in out in the country lol.
