Some notes
  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

I Just got 10 bucks from Microsoft to celebrate black friday

Check your messages!
Likewise, I was about to Log Off for the night (I need all the beauty sleep I can get at this point) and noticed an Xbox Live message and opened it and surprise! I had a $10 code. Now I can get Monster Hunter: World! Yay. Now it's time for me to go to sle...Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Movies Anywhere still won’t stream in 4K though right?
It's complicated. MA will do 4k, iTunes is picky about what it reports out as 4k.

Some good deals on that list... if it wasn't for the fact many will be that price or cheaper over the weekend for physical which comes with digital. I'd rather order the discs with free shipping and get the code too.

just a side note for you 80s and 90s kids

Jake the Snake was on the rogan podcast and it was tremendous as is his documentary about his life and overcoming addiction

you don't need to be a fan to be moved and inspired by it but if you were into 80s and 90s wrestling the stories will take you back to your childhood and DDT your feelers

VUDU has started having the 4k/UHD version of movies available through MA if you own it through iTunes, but I don't know how thorough it is vs if it's totally random. I redeemed some cheap codes for the Despicable Me movies in 4k on iTunes and they all show up as UHD in VUDU on my Xbox.

I think with movies, I'm fully on the all-digital train. Discs definitely offer the best audio/visual experience (still consistently impressed by uncompressed audio on Blurays) but the convenience of digital and the lack of material stuff taking up space wins out for me. I feel the same way about games sometimes, but movies are much cheaper, and the gray market for digital codes makes them even cheaper.

Finally got the Game Pass card to check off the FH4 & Wolfenstein: New Order portions after 5 days.  My suggestion for those waiting on that, unlock 4-5 achievements.  I tried just one and it wouldn't check, but once I did that, it checked them off quickly.

Sorry, missed this and see it was answered a few times. But the MA app itself will not play 4K. But any movie that is MA and is also available on Vudu or MS would port from iTunes to those services.

The next question would be whether they also have them 4K. Vudu has a much better shot at that being true than MS and they’ve added a bunch lately, though they still don’t have as much 4K as iTunes.

All that being said, a good number but not all of those listed are also on sale on Vudu as well. That may make it easier to know for sure that Vudu also has it in 4K and you can buy from there directly.

I'm definitely not a wrestling fan, but every single documentary I've seen on the subject is incredibly interesting. I saw Card Subject to Change on Netflix a couple of years ago and decided to see how much of a goofy mess it was. Turned out to be one of the best documentaries I saw that year. If I see something that covers the period you're talking about here, I check it out.

Edit: Two minutes in and I have a new documentary to watch.

Newegg has $100 XBL funnymunny for $88 for anyone wanting to stock up during the sale.

I know Rakuten has slightly better sales, but 12% off ain't bad, and it's available right now.
Thanks, I've come to the conclusion I'll trade peace of mind for a few bucks and just get deals when I can for a little bit more if its easier and less chaotic.

Rakuten also has a gray market for 3rd party sellers, and theoretically could sell you a code that was purchased with a stolen CC etc, although most folks seem to think they are pretty safe. At least with Newegg, it's coming directly from them (they do have 3rd party sellers, but not for giftcards).

I saw he was on but haven’t watched or listened to it. Joe Rogan has a great show.

My game pass quest just updated to show I unlocked an achievement in each of the the game catergories. All I had to do was click the activation and all punchcards were completed.

I see one month of game pass as a hot deal on the Rewards page. 5,250 points vs 6,800. Ignore if someone else also posted

My wife and kids saw Wreck It Ralph 2 this morning. The review from them was... not good. The kids were were scared for half an hour and some of the humor wasn’t meant for kids.

It’s a shame, the first one was such a good movie.

I'm going to see it Friday, and it's doing well on RT, so I'll reserve judgement until then. How old are the kids?

With this being them in the internet, I assume that 30 minutes was Ralph coming across a man who promptly undressed and spread his asshole as wide as he could and would not leave regardless of how many times he tried to exit out?

I just saw it with my wife and kids (7, 4, 2) and they all loved it. They were laughing and enjoying the whole movie. We just left the theater. It had some adult humor but nothing crude, just some jokes that went over my kids heads due to references they didn't get.

We saw wreck it Ralph 2 last night.
My son,6, got a little scared about 2/3 of the way but he got over it pretty quickly.
Not certain if I liked it better than the first or not...mainly because I don't remember much about the first than the overall plot.

None of mine have been tracked on the punchcard either. I did Split/Second, FH4, Halo MCC, & Rime.
All mine have tracked / updated except for the Forza 4 Achievement I got about a week ago...

Did your punch card starter check off update? Seemed like that too numerous clicks to activate for me when I first started...

FYI - Google Play store upgrades any MA movies it has to 4K if they have it available for free. The only problem is Play Store 4K library isn't very big, hopefully, it gets bigger.

i was in Gamestop yesterday and some kid and his mom returned Fallout 76, the mom actually came up to me and said don't buy this game it stinks haha

REhUGAJ.jpg

one of my best relationships to date

a few bumps in the road but i still wake up looking forward to our mornings together

high maintenance but has been very rewarding so far

gives me a little something special every 7 to 10 days to keep things exciting

Just wanted to show thanks on this holiday eve

I saw someone mention this some pages back, but there was a Game Pass punch card worth 5000 points.  I just recently finished the Badlands things and got my free 3 month game pass.  I never have, and still have not seen after redeeming, a way to begin the game pass punch card.

I looked in the rewards app on xbox one (where they have those 5 point links ) and I looked under the game pass page as well.  I also checked where it says all quests, and they seem to change every few days but are there any other ways to access this punch card or are they gone after a certain time?  I know it runs until the end of the month.  If anyone knows of another way to access this, or where if I'm blind to it, it would be a big help to me and anyone else who hasn't completed it yet.  Thanks in advance.
