Apparently Best Buy stopped allowing you to get digital currency with rewards certs. Sucks because that was a decent way to get them. Guess I’ll be getting more physical with them.

But you don’t pay tax on the reward certificates amount and I don’t have to pay tax on digital currency
 
Looks like there's a meh unannounced Fallout 4 sale right now with the season pass being half off and GOTY is $35 and vanilla is $20.09.

Not sure what you’re saying. I don’t pay tax either but always able to use certs on the full amount. If it’s a $15 gift card, I could use a $15 cert. Now it won’t even give me the option even if I have another item in the cart. If I remove the currency, the option comes back up.

Or perhaps they'll really throw a curve and make Culdcept Saga GWG. Imagine the confusion on the faces of Xbox users everywhere as they ask themselves wtf is going on. Plus, I freaking love that game and it's pretty much my sole remaining wish for BC (okay, and Alpha Protocol). So it'd be a win-win.

 
Ok. False alarm. Doesn’t seem to be all digital currency at Best Buy that certs don’t work on. Just iTunes and Nintendo.

Still good on XBL and PSN currency!
 
Just tried out the dragon ball fighter z beta and wow I forgot how bad I suck at online fighters. But it does look amazing, so even getting my ass handed to me makes me go “oooooooohhhhhh”.

If you use your certs on an item you pay tax on they’re worth their value plus the tax. They’re only worth their value if used on currency.

You can always rack up points and redeem Amazon cards (I'm sure there are other options as well) and use those for XBL credit if that's what you want. There's still plenty of reason to use Bing rewards.

 
The Only option I see is for the $1.25 card, that's it, no others. Thought it was 1.50, but it's not even that, just 1.25

Dang, took about 40 minutes and got around 1800 points from m$ rewards tonight. I got the mobile, edge, computer, quizzes, 150 bonus, and went through my old emails and did all the links. Apparently they keep all those point emails active for twoish months? The Thanksgiving ones were the first to have expired links.

It's probably for creation club. I actually just checked and there's new pip-boy and power armor skins for free. You can check devnotes on beth.net but they sometimes don't even bother if it's just cc support. There's other new content added, a tunnel snakes pack, arcade cabinets and a coffee and donut pack that you would have to see to believe. Hot pink and sprinkle power armor paint.

Thanks for the info. Firing up KI now.......on a side note, been playing f2p games like Gems of War and Pinball fx2 to hit that reward requirement; needed to play a third game so I downloaded Warframe(only played it once back in October 2015). This....is a fun game. Since I'm almost at level 250 in GoW, Warframe will be the next grind that I'll enjoy checking in daily and whatnot

I posted awhile back about having issues getting the free Minecraft Better Together upgrade from the Xbox One Edition. I reached out to Xbox Support on Twitter and they asked me to give it time. After two weeks of waiting and still not seeing the upgrade, I reached back out to Xbox Support last night, and as of this morning I received the upgrade in the My Games and Apps section.

Hopefully this helps others who are having issues.

Warframe is great, but be prepared to grind for everything.
 
Monster Hunter is getting great scores but sounds like it’s still not an easy game for newbies. And every time I’ve tried to get into the series, I just couldn’t. So probably pass for now. Just don’t have the time or patience to put into it.
 
I'm definitely glad MonHun isn't changing too much in terms of that, the challenge/grind has always been what I loved (Played since the first on PS2), but I can definitely understand it not being for everyone, it's a unique game for sure.

The combat has always felt clunky to me the few times I've played a demo, and RPGs with progression based solely on items/equipment always throw me off. I keep thinking I'll love it if I give it a chance, but then it never resonates.

Also just checked. $1.25, $3, $10, $25 and $100 showing for me. Only thing missing (still) is $5. I've never really understood the concept of a digital code being "out of stock."

The new version just showed up a few days ago for me without any intervention on my part. It's a bit annoying how long of a delay it took to show up.

And that's 100% fair, one thing I will say is the demos have always been pretty bad for newcomers, they only show off quests with premade characters, they don't let you see the whole crafting and gathering system or how quests are laid one, but yeah, the progression is definitely gear based outside of like ranking up for higher quests, not counting the crazy people who beat the game with crappy gear just for fun lol
