Some notes
  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

Spent the day playing Dragon Ball FighterZ with friends and my main complaint is really just the fact everything needs to be connected to a lobby to play is really stupid. Even playing locally it has to connect to a lobby for some reason. It's fun, but it feels like they really over complicated the game with things like that and just overall lobby system.

Anyone know how to fix a jammed LB button?
My nephew dropped one of my Xbox One controllers from high up on accident a couple years ago. The drop made RB jammed under the plastic shell. I thought it would be completely broken so I bought a kit on Amazon with a full set of controller replacement buttons and the tools to take it apart for like $10. I got the controller all in pieces, turns out it was just stuck under there, once I got it free I cleaned it and checked it for damage, it was a little bent but I just bent it back and it was fine. Never had a problem with it since.

Long story short, I would recommend maybe taking it apart, cleaning the buttons and putting it back together.

I don't know what you're on, I enjoy both SFV and MvCI.

Forza 7 Halo suit. ? Is what they're doing about fighting games. Secondary hint, more pewpew, less of this.

DBZ fighting wise is great but the whole story mode pacing and lobby bullshit is beyond insane.

Me and my friend can't get any matches going at all. We had to do the arena thing and it took over 3+ minutes just to get into a match. So we basically went to a Mexican server to consistently get 1v1 matches. To top it off have to leave the arena and rejoin to select a new team. No random option it seems?

To make matters worst I got the ultimate edition that has all the DLC so I spend over $100 on it.

Considering it's arksys and It's already selling like hotcakes I'd imagine a new version will be out in 1-2 years anyways and I'll be buying it again.

Funny how private matches are issues with DBZ, yet with Monster Hunter I heard public matches don't work while private ones do.

What's even better is that the problems seem to be exclusive to Xbox after they said that we didn't need a beta. SOS system and matchmaking don't work at all on Xbox ATM. Setting up a game with friends is unnecessarily complicated, but I'm still loving the game

Any thoughts on Seasons After Fall?  The art reminds me a bit of Ori and Blind Forest, but some reviews I've read say the gameplay is a bit repetitive.  Thinking about maybe picking it up to play with my son.  Is it worth it?

Random question: in the Xbox Rewards Being Doctor mission, is anyone else having trouble with the achievement mission? It says complete five achievements in the game(s) you purchased. Does that mean five EACH? Or just 5? Because I completed 5 in both Knee Deep and Another World Days ahk and nothing’s popped. I also bought Soul Axiom, Octodad, and Rime so I don’t know if it actually means each.
When dealing with XBL Rewards, always give it 3-4 days for progress to appear on the site. Has it been that long?
FWIW, I only completed 5 achievements in a single game (Inside). It did take 7-8 days for them to register on the rewards page. They registered the same day that my $2 avatar item went through (about 72 hours after purchase), have you bought that yet? I know it says that challenge 3 is only supposed to be linked to challenge one but I wonder if it’s not tied to both. Good luck, feel free to report back for others.
On 1/3 and 1/4 bought 2 games towards this. Those posted by the 6th.
Since then...
1/07 got 4-5 achievements in 1 of them and 7 in another.
1/22 bought $2 avatar items on list, and 1 more game in list to fill out the $30.
As of right now, nothing has posted since the the original posting.
7 days since the final purchases and 21 days since the achievements.
With only 3 days left, I am feeling concerned.

Ah! I see your problem. You don’t unlock part three (Get 5 chieves) until AFTER you have finished part one (spend $30). Unlock 5 more achievements in any of your three games and you’ll be set. Hope that helps!

At least that’s how I read the instructions. Truth is, these reward quests are super vague and a total PITA if you ask me.

Is there any way to track how many multiplayer hours I’ve done this month? I don’t usually do MP but am trying for January rewards. I just don’t want to barely miss the 10 hours

Seasons After Fall is like Ori if you took everything fun and interesting about it out. I didn't care for it.

But it still has not registered that I have completed the spend $30
It has been since the 22nd.
So how you are interpreting it is, they have to be done in the order they are on the webpage, and anything out of that order will not count as going towards the individual goals?
Example... part of part 1 completed, then part 3 done with was was bought on part 1, then part 2 completed, then part 1 completed.
So, Parts 2 and 3 completions are null and need to be done again after part 1 finally registers.

I had to re-read that too. I even started to confuse myself.

Currently playing through Cod WW2 and so far it's pretty damn good the campaign that is.It feels immersive and the cut scenes are top notch also started playing on VET to get my monies worth and not as hard as previous CoDs has been with infinite nades at thrown at you from all directions. Will start the MP when I finish up the campaign.

I was just able to complete a Forzathon challenge in FM7. I think there are supposed to be 3 of them, but I only saw one. At least it tracked what I was doing.

Booted up the 360 for the first time in a couple months today to delete four recent BC titles and transfer my split/second save to the cloud. Not including BC games I didn't delete, delisted games and Kinect titles, I still have about 100 games left.

Does anyone know what's up with titles that don't show artwork or any game details besides any leaderboards it had? Blacklight: Tango Down, Intel Discovered and TMNT Training Lair are the games. Tested Blacklight to see if I could actually play the game. Obviously no one is playing so I had to play a non online mode and it looks like I'm not missing much even if it was active.

I have artwork for TMNT Training Lair. It could be related or just a coincidence but both TMNT TL and Intel Discovered had their facebook functionality removed, which means they have unobtainable achievements.

This was happening a couple months ago for me on the 360 and the one. After a couple days everything was back to normal. But I did freak out and try them all and even uninstalled and reinstalled a few of them lol

Torque Bow is up in the Gears stream.
I've yet to play Gears 4, and probably won't for a long time. Do I have to actually access any of these rewards once I've unlocked them in stream? Or am I fine just claiming them during the stream now and they will be there when I finally play in a year from now?

They should be available in your game when you start it up. Have you logged on to the official Gears site with your Gamertag? You might be able to see the weapons now.

EA Sports and Fallout 4 are counting down for date night.  Expected Super Bowl sale and Fallout will most likely switch from regular to Gold.

Some of my delisted games that are Arcade have the generic "Xbox Live Arcade" artwork, I figure TMNT is delisted don't know the other 2 games

I had to re-read that too. I even started to confuse myself.
Here’s my timeline that worked.

1. Bought three games totaling $32 on same day (Step 1 complete)
2. Played one game and got 5 achievements (step 3 complete) the same day (or next)
3. Credit posts for the $30 purchases ~72 hours after purchase (Step 1 registered)
4. Waited over a week with no credit given for the achievements (Step 3)
5. Purchased $2 avatar item (Step two complete)
6. ~72 hours later simultaneously got credit for step 2, 3, and 4 at once

So the only thing that I see that you did differently is that you won 5(+) achievements (Step 3) before you completed Step 1 making me think that Step 3 was not yet “unlocked” for you to complete. I bet if you simply win 5 more achievements you’ll get credit for everything (assuming you’ve actually purchase $30 games pre-tax and $2 avatar pre-tax, etc. Sorry if this is confusing, like i said before, I think Xbox Rewards is frustratingly vague and opaque in general. I only use it when a deal is too good to pass up or gives me the ability to double dip on an already good sale (as in this case).

Purchased Zelda, Castlevania, & Castlevania III on NES.
To expand my collection (backlog).
Do I have problem?

My three copies of 'Pyschonauts,' says "Yes."

After a shit day I get on Xbox, and boom start downloading monster hunter. Guy I gameshare with bought it. If anyone wants to link up drop me your GT. I won’t t be playing it until tomorrow though it’s still downloading

FYI, Forzathon is working in FM7 for me. Unlocked the Stratos, "To the Slopes", and Motion Capture Driver Gear, "Creative Corner", so far.

I also was visited by my bro and a few nephews yesterday so we played some Minecraft. Apparently if you don't cook the chicken now you can get salmonella poisoning lol. Didn't know that, wonder if it was like it before. They have added a bunch of stuff and it was funny being schooled by them. We played some of the goodies they released around last Christmas. I didn't mind playing it again but eh I have way too many games in the backlog to focus on one game - kid/adult differences right.

Been playing Full Metal Furies (from the devs of Rogue Legacy) solo, and the game is kicking my ass (didn't help that I chose the higher difficulty characters). But thankfully the game saves progress (coins, xp) after each wipe, so I slowly saved up enough to upgrade stuff.

Each character (out of 4, all ladies) plays differently, and has a decent amount of customization. The game also has a mysterious vibe, with a lot of branching paths on the big map, and some stones with cryptic riddles.

Highly recommended for anyone with coop partners.

So that “3-month” Game Pass renewal offer thing now gives me a month extension for $5. Has anyone actually gotten a 3-month offer? I wouldn’t mind 3 months for $5 a piece but that doesn’t seem to be the deal I’m getting (says one month for $5 and $9.99 after).

I've checked it periodically since it appeared and haven't seen any kind of discount price. Would pay $5 for another month. Has your sub ran out yet? Mine did on Friday, but it didn't matter if it was before or after.

The one month $5 deal is all i'm seeing too. I have an active subscription.

Do we typically get a large sale by the end of March? I have some credit expiring in March and I need to decide what to get.

UMvC3 is the greatest fighting game ever made and I am prepared to die on this hill
I'm with you! I was never good at it though I have stupid fingers.

My personal favorite to actually play is UMK3, Human Smoke is my shit

When I used to bartend during slow shifts I would hook up playstation, and if you could beat me in UMK3 I would buy you a drink. Never bought a single one

Interesting. Wonder if any better deals will come along or if I should go for a year with this.
You may find a deal on eBay, but with the 12 month codes being taken off rewards, I doubt it. If the $5 deal was showing, I'd probably redeem at least 6 months. $20 for 3 is still good, about $6.xx per month, but knowing there's a better deal available to others is making me hold back.

No, it's pretty much a carbon copy. Have you noticed that there were so many Diablo clones over the years and none of them are around anymore except these two? It's a simple gameplay formula to copy, but none have been able to replicate the Big D's success.
