I think the early deposit is only if you have less than 5,000 points, and it puts that amount in the next deposit day. Since you have more, you'll get your full rewards.

Oh, I misunderstood thinking it meant that it would deposit what you had earlier than the next deposit day.
 
For the preorder mission on Xbox rewards it says preorder up to 3 games for 15,000 credits. Does that mean if I preorder 1 game I’ll get 5,000 credits, 2 games 10,000...etc? Or is it a cut and dry- preorder 3 to get the 15,000 credit reward?

Game Pass is still showing for $5. I can't resist extending it through the end of the year, especially with first party titles. They've added 8-10 games each month, and lots of indie games on there I've never heard of that have reviewed really well - games I want to play but wouldn't spend $10 on per game.

Also, I only have 3 months left in school and then hopefully will have a well-paying job, so the end of ultra-frugality is in sight.

Tacks on, you just go through X number of purchases for however much you want. Codes are only generated if you 'buy as gift,' and others have reported the discount isn't available that way.

I already resumed my masochistic time with ReCore. Who would have known adding achievements to collect-a-thon platformers would trick me into doing them?

 
finally got the 1000 assists achievement in gears, think I'm taking a break till the next event to get a flaming weapon skip or the new achievements drop in march, also despite owning the game already I'm tempted to drop 50 on the collectors edition

Yeah target has a 55 tcl hdr tv on sale for 369 - 5 % more for redcard.

I got a new TV and Xbox 1x for less then 1000. I was just going for the tv and the wife told the cashier to ring up the Xbox also. Yeah buddy!

I finally updated my Xbox, it takes forever with my throttled connection, and now I have 165 new entries in updates. fuck
 
I saw Xbox Qwik (Mike Ybarra) has almost 45k gamerscore for February. Looks like he has been playing all the ACA Neogeo games. So if you guys want that 100k in 1 year, just play all those I guess.
 
The discounts for Just Dance 2018 and Nightmares from the Deep 3: Davy Jones are counting down to 5am Eastern (about 3.5 hours from time of posting).

EA Family Bundle, Battlefield Hardline and WRC Collection FIA World Rally Championship are counting down to date night.

Madden GOAT Super Bowl Edition is counting down to midnight Eastern tomorrow night.

I couldn't resist adding more either. I took the physical games I had that are currently in gamepass traded them in for Xbox credit and used that to buy more months.

Gonna keep the Neogeo games as a last resort to hit 100k gs. I don't have any in the backlog so it would be an extra expense, and I do have to balance my CAG lifestyle with my gaming goals. Nothing against them or anyone who wants to play them. Based on current linear rate of gs increase my expected completion should occur in early October.

I did pull 800 gs from NBA 2k17 The Prelude an F2P game. Apparently the one achievement worth 200 was borked once the calendar rolled over to 2018.

I did finish up Inside. The ending is hilariously entertaining.

I have gamepass now, but I didn't see February's Gamepass Goals in the infamous Gamepass Lounge. I know it's play Mad Max for 5/10 hours from searching the internet. I see games grouped by type. Under featured I saw a video clip about Sea of Thieves coming. Where are you supposed to find the Gamepass Goals?

She went shortly after and bought her self a nice washer and dryer for 1500. I see why she told the cashier to ring up the Xbox lol. We haven't bought things for us in over 10 years (3 kids)

Sucks the $5 Gamepass for a month is not available for everyone, would have bought some if I could get it.

I have been really hooked on Spellspire for a week.

What determines if an Xbox 360 game is on the Xbox marketplace to buy or not? I might have bought a Dragonball game on the Xbox 360 but in Australia it is not aailable. It is not like the game is not sold here, I could go into a shop and buy disc if I wanted to.

I may trade in Halo Wars 2 from that woot.com deal. I ordered two copies and considered giving one to a friend, but she has Game Pass too and logs about 3-5k GS each month, so something tells me she'll get to it on her own.

In the name of achievement gluttony, that free FFXV spinoff (King's Road? King's... whatever?) will get you 500-600 pretty quickly, but going 100% is tedious.

 
OK, finally done (in every sense of the word) with the first Evil Within. The DLC's were pretty good even if they felt - at times - like a third-person Outlast due to Kidman's inability to sprint for more than 5 seconds and her apparent lack of hand-to-hand combat training.

There were a few explanations that kinda didn't make sense unless you assume she's being misled by two separate parties/entities. Anyways, I can overlook that since both The Assignment and The Consequence succeeded in making the atmosphere more tense and made you feel vulnerable. The main campaign fails at that considering Sebastian is the typical one-man army with an insane arsenal at his disposal.

The Executioner DLC is short but fun, though the final chamber can get tricky and cheap once the last two bosses show up.

Not sure if I want to jump straight into the sequel now or play something else first. Don't want to burn out on the franchise. Also, would like to know if Bethesda's planning any form of DLC for it.

While I stuck it in the backlog, I loved the Budokai games on PS2, so I had to pick that one up. A pretty simple fighting system. Never played Ultimate Tenkaichi, but it looks pretty. Played some Xenoverse on the One. Gameplay is alright.

That is really impressive for an executive. Those must be some really easy achievements! I imagine he doesn't have a lot of free time.

 
I've been playing Slayaway Camp and it's pretty damn fun. It's also one of the rare games that you can watch a few minutes of video footage of and immediately tell if it's for you or not. I'm digging it, the kills are hilarious, and it's short, so I can keep up my "beat a game each week" streak this year and and spend the rest of the week on Monster Hunter, so that's a bonus.

Here's to a good sale! Or a bad sale that has at least one cheap indie game that hasn't been on sale before.

 
the aca neo geo games all have the same achievement list and are all easy from what I know, you can also stack them with the windows versions I believe

Also, make sure that the monster is injured when you do it. Either look for the visual limp as it moves or check out the map (the monster will have a skull icon next to it when injured).

It seems to be either on some sort of rotation or it's random. It shows up exactly where you see that Sea of Thieves panel. It was showing SoT for me for days. Then one day it changed to the Game Pass Quests panel. Not sure what triggers it. I never clicked on the SoT panel so that wasn't it.
