Weird so many never played the GTA games story part. I'm a Compton's Most Wanted fan so having MC Eiht in San Andreas was pretty great but for actually do the missions I'd go 5, San Andreas, then IV. Vice City is always highly rated and maybe has the best radio stations and a few moments with a Sean Penn Carlito's Way guy but not best story.

Metro Redux is for sure in my top 3 for this generation even I know they are both remastered. I really enjoyed playing them and getting all the achievements. It also gives you the chance to play like you want and two different finals.

lol. I thought I was the only one. I have all of them, going back to the OG Xbox, but never got around to playing them. Actually, I did play San Andreas for about 30 mins and didn't want to put more time into it. I'll hopefully try again in the next 10 years.

 
Is Wildlands enjoyable solo?

Or is it just repetitive for little story motivation?

....not sure I want to even download the free trial.

Sales are butt, Sea of Thieves is butt. I'm just playing DMC on the XBX to justify having it and not waste the game pass since I own nearly everything else on it...

 
I can't believe Major hasn't posted the deals yet. It's like he knows the sales are so bad/disappointing, he doesn't want to waste the server space. 

 
Was hoping for a sale on AC Origins Season Pass since I have Xbox credit to burn, but looks like the $28 Amazon price is the only deal. I usually wait for the passes to go $10 and lower but Origins content looks really good and I just got my One X to play it on. Anyone have the pass that can comment whether or not the $28 is a good price?

Bought it last week right before the Pharaohs DLC, I am really enjoying it. The DLC takes place years after the main story so make sure you finish that first to avoid any spoilers, and make sure you level up since enemies on the Pharaoh DLC are on the upper 40's and some even over 55 and you will need the extra punch. Also worth mentioning that Gamestop also has it for $28 in case you have credit there or something. I paid $30 for it from another CAG and dont regret it one bit, AC:O is a fantastic game overall.

Well, night wasn’t a bust. Got Monster Hunter World on sale at BB. Waited to see if it was going to be in the Spring sale. It wasn’t so ripped it open.

Had played some on a rental. And as previously mentioned was always intimated by MH games. But played for the last hour and a half and am having a blast.

Still don’t necessarily know what the fuck I’m doing but even with a 30+ minute battle with some early dweller at the base camp I was trying to secure, I can’t say I wasn’t having fun.

And with FC5 waiting for me tomorrow, I have plenty to keep me busy (not to mention the more than 300 other games in my backlog).

I purchased Cars 3 for my kid. I have played more than him. It's not Mario Kart, but, it is decent.

I mean I've been casually playing them since Tri on the Wii and I still don't know what 2/3s of the stuff means. At least this time around they made it so they game was still playable by normal people without devoting your life to it.

Exactly. Still too many different things going on but can play enough to have some fun taking on some dinos (that may not be the cool term your supposed to use in MH but that’s what they are dammit. Not monsters — dinosaurs with funky names).

Seems like from what I’ve heard if you can find a weapon you like and stick with it, you’ll do okay.

Anyone have an opinion on Elite Dangerous (Commander Deluxe Edition)?  I am considering it...when I had a PS4 I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed No Man's Sky for what it was (I also had no interest in the game prior to release and got it for free).

I mean it's far more involved technically but is of the same here's a giant universe, go make your own fun in it variety. I don't know if there still is a demo but there was at least. Definitely isn't for everyone but the people that get into it really get into it.

It really annoys me that companies continue to place the main game and complete edition on sale but do not put the season pass on sale.

I really would like to play the extra content for Little Nightmares because I really enjoyed the game so put Secrets of The Maw Expansion Pass on sale already. I've been waiting since July for a sale on the season pass.

Same. I'd buy the Agents of Mayhem DLC if they discounted a season pass, but I'm not rebuying the whole game after getting a $5 Redbox copy.

On a related note, I'm mostly enjoying AoM. Most of its depth is hidden 5+hours in as you unlock characters and make new team combinations. Saints Row by comparison is much more immediately gratifying. AoM isn't as good, but it's still pretty fun.
 
Played the intro to far cry 5. So far it visually looks great. I'm not far enough into it to say for sure but it seems like they changed things up a bit enough where I won't be burnt out from playing it immediately after primal. Plus the fact that it's modern time helps a lot.

Yeah I'm feeling the same way. The first side quest I've done had been more involved than in any other far cry game. It's really nice that it isn't just pick up this and walk there. I'm really liking the game.

The need to wait for GWG is just saying that the April GWG will be new BC games. So they need to make sure that will happen on time.

Or they wanted to wait until the spring sale disappointment settled in to bring us up again

Lol, if history is any indication, we'll find out tomorrow.

GwG are usually announced on the last Thursday of the month, with a few exceptions. If the last day of the month falls on a Thursday, it's usually announced the Thursday before that. If the month ends on Friday, it's usually announced on the last Tuesday. If the month ends on a Saturday, it's usually announced on the last Wednesday. The Fri-Tue/Sat-Wed seems to be so they at least give a three day window.

This month ends on a Saturday, so tomorrow seems likely. And that's obviously not 100% accurate, but it seems to be the schedule they've generally followed in the past, but not entirely. March's were revealed on Feb. 20th (Tuesday) instead of the 22nd. But if you go back through enough announcements, you'll see somewhat of the pattern from the previous paragraph, though.
