Hellblade is on XBox this week. Cosmic Star Heroine or whatever is called was announced for X1 but still no date yet lol.

From my recollection the Borderlands games had some issues at launch but run MUCH better then their 360 counterparts. I know the prequel had some frame rate issues not sure how much better it runs on the X but frame tearing is gone on the X atleast. The frame rate wasn't noticable much alone but when playing with other people it was.

Is Homefront 2 worth it if I have the Xbox one x ? I heard that after patches the game looks and runs much bettee

I picked up the fire fades edition of dark souls 3 since gamestop had it for 20, was a slow start to get into it but I'm starting to like it more. I was told magic was easiest but I found magic to be pretty shitty, def regret going sorcerer

Magic can start slow in most Souls games but once your launching crystal homing missiles all over the place it's pretty OP in PVE. The thing with Dark Souls it doesn't really matter that you picked Sorcerer you can put points into whatever you want although yeah at the start it can be harder to get some traction going.

You have to remember they are based in the UK, so that was 7:59 EST when it ended.

 
So it's been awhile since I've posted. Only had time to lurk recently, but I gotta ask, are any of you having as hard of time with far cry 5 as I am? I'm playing on easy and still getting destroyed on some missions.

"The event ends on April 8th at 23:59 UTC. You can register at any time during the event. However, all achievements must be unlocked and scanned in by the end of April 8th for them to count. "

Gtasc is at an odd time this year because the guy that runs it has that day off this year in his schedule. I actually don't mind it being in a middle of a Wednesday, a lot less mad scramble for me on hungover Sunday mornings so far ;)

 
Anyone here having problems logging into the 360? Every time I try to sign in I get an error message saying I can't connect to XBL but when I run the connection test, everything checks out fine. I get error message 80151909. Not sure if this is happening to XB1 too.

Good here in the middle of Michigan with it's stupid sub freezing temps. Side note Assassin's Creed Rogue is far and away the hardest AC game I've ever played.

 
Well the only damage I did with this Spring sale was TC: Wildlands. Too much to play and not enough time. I did not really even need to buy what i did but my Dad likes the game and I like the Ubisoft gameplay loop so why not.

really weird decision to only put the Deluxe on sale and not the Gold edition as well. I know it'll go on sale again shortly but still.

I've been having some minor issues when I fist login. It'll say connected to Xbox live while signing in and then the main box 9n the home screen is black and days it can't connect to xbox live. Then I click on the black box. And it connects. Haven't bothered to try to resolve because it's one extra button press.
 
Hey they made Roman Reigns - Lesnar match the last match for Wrestlemania so I got to leave early without having to sit through that! Thanks for valuing my time WWE!

I wouldn't say I'm getting destroyed, but playing on the default difficulty I'm definitely dying more than in past FC games. It seems like I need to be more aware of what I'm getting myself into and can't go running into taking down outposts as much or I'll get overwhelmed.
 
Anyone have the forza 7 ultimate edition?
I'm tempted to get it, I heard some good changes were made to fix the vip and car pass. I don't what changed since I don't have the game. I have been looking for a new racing game.

Yep. Sometimes it won't connect and I'll have to do it manually after starting the console, or dashboarding and other times, I get disconnected in the middle of a game. It only started about a week ago and resetting my modem didn't help.

For the Spring Sale: Are either Fallout 3 or Oblivion worth it if I have (but only played like 5 hours in each) New Vegas and Skyrim?

It depends how much time you have. Those are long games, so if you have a lot more time than money, they are great bargains. If you have not a lot of time, then I would say wait for Red Dead Redemption 2 and probably an announcement from Bethesda this year and play Skyrim if you really need a big RPG to waste time in... just my 2 cents.

If your just getting them so you can see the icons in your ready to install or installed, then go for it.

 
Anyone have suggestions for cleaning the screen on a Samsung MU8000? I am reading that the Samsung screens can have issues with the anti-glare coat coming off if they are not handled properly. I unfortunately have a cat that is in love with the new big screen and jumps up and  paws at things on the screen. I am in need  of cleaning it but I want to be sure I do it right.

I think so, assuming you liked them both. While I enjoyed NV and Skyrim much more than their previous entries (I actually started playing Oblivion within a month of the 360 release, but didn't finish it until after I finished Skyrim, which took me less than a month) I still like open world games and in particular Bethesda's. I've played through Fallout 3 multiple times, as it is now my favorite Franchise (because of Fallout 3) even though I rank Fallout 3 below 4 and NV. Part of the reason Oblivion took so long was my 360 got the RRoD right after I started it. I kind of lost traction and it took me four or five years to recover apparently.

See, this is what was happening to me for the last week or so too. I would always have to manually connect but once I did, I was good for the rest of my session. Now, it just won't connect at all. I've tried resetting my modem, unplugging everything for several minutes, clearing my cache and restoring original settings.....nothing works. I'm wondering if this is a regional problem affecting a minority of people and I just happen to be one of them. Maybe it'll sort itself out by the end of the week. Oh well.

 
Deus Ex Mankind Divided Digital Deluxe or Just Cause 3 XL? Same price, same discount, even same publisher (but different developers). Only have enough money for one of 'em. Anybody played both and want to offer their take on which is a better value, i.e. P/E (Price/Enjoyment) ratio?  :whistle2:k

 
Since nobody had a straight list, I used Caseside's article and ordered it by when they mentioned somebody since they'd at least name everyone when they were tossed out. #4 (Woken Matt Hardy) is the winner, and according to view all notifications it's MoCiWe! Message sent.

Warm water on a cloth is the only thing I’ve used. Now mine has been just cleansing mostly dust but it seems to work.

I got a thing of Monster screen cleaner with microfiber cloth and it works great on my 9500. I accidentally got handprints when putting the stand on. I got it on clearance so price isn't helpful, and bottle says "proprietary polymers" so that's not helpful either. But it's entirely likely there's another product that will do it.

I think that depends on your style. With Deus Ex, you can play very tactically, using stealth based tactics or go in guns blazing. It's a fairly versatile game. With Just Cause 3 XL, you can be pretty much Iron Man with the glider suit, flying around blowing up pretty much everything. They are both great games. I think Just Cause is a tad more likely to hold onto it's value though since Deus Ex's price has been on a solid downfall since release.

The DLC is usually a bit cheaper for Deus Ex if you have to end up buying it separate. I foresee both eventually going Games with Gold since they have both made the rounds on PS Plus. If you're set on choosing one though, I'd weigh tactical shooter vs. mostly mindless fun. Which do you prefer?

Yeah I got for like $2 or something really cheap at Redbox. Game seems like it is 5+ years old. Played a couple hours and haven't gotten back to it. JC3 is a much better game but laggy as hell at times. But is actually fun when it isn't lagging.

 
Not sure if the vault rewards are throwaway or what I forgot to read up on that, but they have one year and 3 month XBox gold subscriptions back in stock.

Sadly the $ rewards haven't came back and that's what I'm holding out for.

Hopefully they restock the 5000 and 10000 rewards credits before death. As is, I have enough for 5000, but will resort to the Warframe Platinum if I need to. I'm close to having enough gems for 10000 credits, but I don't know if I'll be able to get like 50 in 7 weeks.

Finally found that on the news posting that introduced the contest. Looks like I wasn't the only one that expected to see a mention of it on the event portal page, or the leaderboards page, or the progress tracking page, or in the first post of the forum thread.

Imo, the ones you own are better, though Fallout 3 is also very good. Oblivion to me was the most boring, generic game of all TES games, Skyrim is a better game in every way.
