Episode 1 is this week's sale, Episode 3 was part of last week's sale and Episode 2 was on sale the week before that. They can't even get the order right...

360 sales have been getting smaller and smaller week by week. Considering they got backwards compatibility on the One and Game Pass, uh, yeah. They've been rotating the same games in and out of sale for years now and that console has ended production for about a two years and four days and no new games in I don't know how long. 360 Gotta die eventually.

Just now, I was asked again, and did it this time. Got the 5 dollar gift card!

I was using a different computer in a different location compared to last night. So its worth a try for those who've already turned it down if you want another shot.

Meanwhile, with this lackluster week, I'm really considering Darkest Dungeon.

Apparently, this is the last week to get both it and the DLC for 25 dollars. After this week, they'll need to be purchased separately for 35 total.

I don't think this came up yet. If you own PUBG they're finally doing a test server for Xbox, which will allow you to play the desert map before it's official release next month. It shows up as PUBG Test Server under ready to install. I get the feeling that they're use of this method means it will run even worse than the normal game, and I'd guess your BP is separate.

I Bought this a few hours ago and I don't know what kinda bullshit sorcery Capcom has me under where I somehow re buy their games across all consoles and have no idea how or why. I'm sure as fuck not going to play that Resident Evil REmake on my Gamecube, PS3, XBox One or PS4, but here we are! On the plus side to all this I now have an excuse to replay Binary Domain.

Ha I wasn't going to get it for the Xbox One, but then that really great Resident Evil "humble bundle/price error" happened. I did play through Jill's campaign this summer, and had already forgot a lot of the game from my PS One or Game Cube playing days that I enjoyed it.

Sure, and I'll be sad to see it happen, but couldn't it be handled with some dignity? An official announcement and, while they're at it, one last fire sale would be a more adequate send-off.

Having a single Xbox 360 game on sale seems cruel. Microsoft themselves published numerous games on the platform.
 
I've just been taking advantage of any and all bing/edge points and flipping them on hot deals to bring down my cost for the last few 360 games I want

I have a huge collection but have a handful that have never ended up on a digital sale, gonna try to grab them before they end up getting delisted or something rather than waiting for sales that aren't coming

been a long time since I've seen much on the weekly sale that isn't in the rotation we see semi often anyway

I hear ya. I've actually been meaning to compile my want list for a while now, but sifting through the 1000+ titles and associated DLC is a bit daunting. The delistings will only increase though, so I do need to bite the bullet at some point and just do it.

I'm in the same boat. Slowly in the process of trying to turn the remnants of my 360 collection digital, mainly for connivence and storage. And the arrival of the BC tax on digital games has not helped., but I do appreciate the feature- so I'm happy to pay for it.

For what it's worth I was on the 360 Dashboard and there was a "tile ad" for the 75% off Alien Breed, so I clicked on it just for fun. Fez was also in there. I already own that one so couldn't tell you a price.

I just searched the store and it shows up as $9.99 for me. It doesn't appear to be on sale.

I am with you on this....starting last year I started collecting retro games in full force. Adding super cheap ps2, Og XBox, and Gamecube games to my backlog is far more rewarding than I could have imagined.
 
Thursday's B/C original xbox games are all available on the 360 marketplace if you still have a 360 around. Spend that fake money.

Thanks for the reminder about the survey, and tip of using a different computer to get it to pop.

Darkest Dungeon is great. The expansion is great as well, but it does make a difficult game even harder.

I don't think a lot of more casual players are all that aware of Game Pass, or at least exactly how it works. Plus it's been a while since we had a retail release of an exclusive.

 
Playing the Sea of Thieves beta inspired me to play Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, which I never had gotten around to playing before. I like it, but I don't understand how to unlock the Scottish Broadsword or Persian Scimitar. The Broadsword supposedly requires social treasures (?) And the Scimitar takes community challenges to unlock. I've looked at a couple of Black Flag message boards from years ago and couldn't figure it out. Anybody out there who knows willing to explain?
 
How good is that Darkest Dungeon game? It looks like something I would like but the price isn't my usual buy price yet. Also does anyone know what the game and dlc price will be after they split it up?

I like it, but I don't understand how to unlock the Scottish Broadsword or Persian Scimitar. The Broadsword supposedly requires social treasures (?) And the Scimitar takes community challenges to unlock. I've looked at a couple of Black Flag message boards from years ago and couldn't figure it out. Anybody out there who knows willing to explain?

I think you can watch YT videos on where community chests or whatever are located so you can get the Broadsword

 
Does anyone want a Minecraft diamond suit for Forza 7? Microsoft just msg'd me a code and I wont use it.

So Avengers reviews seem to be if you watched all the other movies in the MCU and enjoyed them and been waiting for this moment, you'll enjoy it. If you've seen some of them, but only remember bits and pieces, probably not. Okay, ready for Thursday!

 
Anyone have issues with their X1X going into sleep mode randomly? Never had this issue before until I bought my Samsung MU8000. Could it be this universal remote from Samsung? Or is it an issue with the box you connect the HDMI cable into? Very frustrating to have the game cut out in the middle of playing.

Yes - not during a game but it’s always a pain in the ass when I start everything up - shit turns off and the tv is on and then Xbox is on and tv is off - I assumed I was just insane
 
Finally got the survey to show up. Was just browsing the MS store, both digital games section and xbox clearance section. Said I didn't make any it decisions for my company (I'm freelance) and it said thanks I didn't qualify.

So I picked up my phone, turned off wifi and found it again. Answered that I jointly make decisions and got through. Phone signal dropped once halfway through and I had to go back to the first page of the quiz through my browser history. Took a bit but I did get a 5$ code at the end of the quiz. So to anyone else lucky enough to find it don't close that last page because that seems to be the only place the code appears.

 
Got my survey, tried a few times today, ha got it to pop looking at the Dark Souls pre-order page 

edit: when I went to redeem it i got a new MS Rewards dashboard with a bunch of quizs a free 100 points whatever, seems they updated the Rewards dashboard 

second edit: oh wow, looks like they knocked down the amount of points you can get to 90 per day for PC search and 60 per day for Mobile search, so 150 total, so that's a 100 less than before and none of the rewards prices were lowered so basically they are gimping the program. 

ha ok now it went to back the way it was, must of rolled it out for a minute

just did the survey and got the 5 bucks (so it's still active)

and I'm not seeing the points being lowered as mentioned above on my end

Close the window or windows you were using to browse through the XBox marketplace (but not the pop up) and it'll show up on the pop up window.
