A few months ago I tried it with Recore and it worked. While my game pass was active it showed I could download it on my PC, and I was able to play it, and then when the gamepass expired it showed the typical "Hey, you need to resubscribe or buy this if you want to continue" message.

Granted, I haven't had gamepass for some time now, so I don't know if anything has changed, but I would think it still works.

Anyone looking to pick up State of Decay 2 in the punchcard deal, and you have reward points, they have a 25% off with the Microsoft gift card now.  $5 is 3750 and $10 is 7500pts. 

Also, they restocked the vault so if you have gems left, use them now.

10,000pts- 500 gems

5,000pts-250 gems

That could be another $20 dollar in credit.

Also, confirmed the Ultimate Edition works, and I got my 6500pts immediately, so almost $10 off of 49.99 which isn't bad at all.

How great would this be? Levels based off of the best episodes! I would love to play a Lego "Homer at Bat" or "Flaming Moe's" or "Itchy and Scratchy Land". And imagine all the characters they could include. Obscure ones like Bleeding Gums Murphy, Joey Joe Joe Jr. Shabadoo, and Inanimate Carbon Rod. Lego Dimensions shows that it could work.

 
Has anyone been able to get rewards support to fix the SOD2 preorder punchcard issue?
I sent in an e-mail and got an immediate automated response saying someone would resolve within 24 hours but I haven't heard anything back yet...

I game share and he ended up paying for Dark Souls remastered. My golden rule is: If I pay full price or close to full price I must beat the game ASAP going forward. So Hellblade I need to finish in the next two weeks and I am working on God of War on PS4 since those were close to retail price (Hellblade was 10% off pre-order and I used the 20% discount for God of War). Why buy a game at full price or even slightly discounted if you don't finish it soon? Most games hit $20 or less a year after release. Exceptions being JRPGS and what not, but Persona 5 was $25 at Gamestop on Pro weekend. $20 for PS3.

This is my first Friday night in a long time that I don't have to study. Not even sure what game to play, I have back logged so many campaigns I want to play because I didn't want to start it and not have time to finish it.

Preorders screw up all rewards except the preorder punchcard. I was pissed last year after preordering the $130 Destiny 2 and finding out later that I wouldn't get my 10% back because I preordered...

State of Decay 2 is great so far. Like SOD1 without the technical issues (so far).

As much as I'm not excited for Dark Souls Remastered, there's a little Solaire on one shoulder telling me to get the game. The other shoulder is Nathan Drake telling me to finish Uncharted series and the butt load of PS4 exclusives I want to finish.

So I've been playing Bound by blood before it gets removed from gamer pass. I have to say, I'm very surprised by how fun it is. It's definitely a low budget rpg, but damn it's pretty fun. Story is kinda interesting too. But good the voice acting and character models are awful. Lol. Anyone else play this game?

Do you mean Bound By Flame? Not sure what Bound by Blood is... Bound By Flame is pretty good for about 20 minutes till you figure out so many games do every one of these aspects better, probably exactly how I'll feel about Technomancer next month.

I found myself enjoying it for the few hours I played it. Not the best, not the worst. At somepoint I will go back and finish it.

I thought it was really good. It's unpolished but I enjoyed this game way more than any of the AAA RPGs like Dragon Age, Witcher, or Mass Effect. The studio's following game, Technomancer, is going to be added to Game Pass in June, and I can't wait to check that out.

I have this game but I’ve only completed the first act so far.
 
If anyone is looking for a partnered Mixer streamer to buy State of Decay 2 direct from for the current promotion search for ELSock he’s the only one I can really find that’s participating and he’s actually streaming it right now if you want to buy it.

*edit* Just so others are aware this is eligible for $5 back in Microsoft funny money and looking at my Microsoft rewards shows the state of decay quest as completed now so I assume I’ll get he bonus reward points for that as well. Not a bad deal at all! I’m not even concerned about the Ultimate Edition either as I already own the first game and the 2 dlc packs are just extra weapons and a multiplayer mode I believe but I have a feeling this game will go the Halo Wars 2 route and keep piling on dlc down the road and eventually have a complete edition so I can wait. Fool me once M$ lol

It’s not under the Xbox rewards it’s under your Microsoft rewards just scroll down and you’ll see it there. It has 3 steps like watch a video, complete a survey and then buy the game but be sure to buy the game through a direct streamer so you get both promotions. Also you’ll get the Microsoft rewards immediately upon completing the quest I had it go right into my point balance so no waiting like you had to with the old Xbox rewards program!
 
Don’t forget there’s a hot deal on Microsoft direct deposits on Microsoft rewards so redeem them toward a $5 or $10 gift card for only 3750 or 7500 points to save even more. I think you have until 6/15/2018 to take advantage.

Through the console. It will show on the top right above the chat and it will even give an explanation and link to the $5 promotion. If it can be done through the app or website that’s beyond my nutty Squirrel brain because I couldn’t find anyway to do it lol


Also if you have gamepass like me but still want to “own” it, when you click the link to buy it may not allow you to buy it at first. What I did was I clicked the link I believe says learn more or something along those lines then closed it out and went back to the stream and tried to buy it again. I’m not sure if it had to recognize I didn’t actually own a copy but it worked on the second try and the BUY button appeared.

I just bought it through Mixer.com on my PC... I was debating it for the 6500 pts but for $5 from Mixer + 6500 pts... I bought it and redeemed 7500 for another $10 and now once my $5 card comes from Mixer, it was basically $15 for State of Decay 2... Worth it.

I got the 6500 pts already, I haven't seen the gift card from Mixer yet, did you get yours right away?

Yeah, I know. It was there earlier this morning, but it no longer shows up on my page and I have a max of 440 points I can earn today.

just make sure not to hesitate

on those gift card deals they have a way of disappearing sometimes weeks before the given date

The $5 from Mixer comes in 30 days and that’s good so others know they can purchase through pc. I was actually using the mobile site so that explains why I didn’t see it.

And yeah it was too good of a deal to pass up!

Yeah I redeemed the first $5 reward and was so close to the other so I did a bunch of random bing searches (acorn pics) to get the last few points needed because I didn’t want to wait and risk missing out.
 
I had never played Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 before but 10 bucks sounded good so I got it and played it
 
pretty fun I liked the gameplay. This specific franchise seems to have an odd (but diverse) roster but it's worth checking out if you like those games
 
I bought braid too which looked interesting on youtube, hopefully it's fun

Played it on PS3 after I bought it as one of the buy 4 used games for $10 sale that GameStop has every now and again. I'll play pretty much anything for $2.25. I didn't play much of it, but the combat was decently satisfying. Based on your recommendation, I might have to try it again after I get a bit further in Fallout: New Vegas which is what I'm currently playing on 360.
