Germany often has replacement GwG for mature or violent games, but since Kalimba isn't on the list those are likely to be the NA GwG as well.

Sonic Kart is the best of the lineup, but I already owns it.
 
punisher war zone was pretty bad. my friends and i burst out laughing when we were watching the dvd and the villain decreed his new name JIGSAW. lol just call yourself puzzleface and i'd take you just as seriously.

I honestly am okay with the games with gold; I only have Sonic and this will let friends play with me! I play Smite every once and a while so free skins works for me, and then +2 games I didn't have :p

now hold on a second. they didn't portray it as a cornball movie in the trailer. i think our expectations were appropriate, especially after how punisher was done in previous movies. don't come at me like "what did you expect?"

you're basically saying everyone knows it's a dumb movie after they watched it.

great clip, though. i must not have made it that far :lol:

The movie is nothing, but great cornball. I Mean Jigsaw's "transformation" was him getting grounded up in a bottle recycling plant and not once did he scream in pain or anything, but instead just kept yelling "fuck YOU, CASTLE!" and that's only in the first 10 minutes. So yeah that movie is stupid, but in a good way.

i suppose you have a point. at least it's good in a bad way. or bad in a good way. i just wanted a serious, gritty punisher movie like they promised with the trailer.

 
I've always like the Thomas Jane Punisher movie. It's not great..but the fight with the Russian (an unrecognizable Big Sexy Kevin Nash) is top notch.

None of them hold a candle to what Netflix did with the character though.

What about that Dolph jawn? I loved that movie as a kid especially the opening sceen where he kicks out the ceiling tile with the knife in his boot and necks that dude. So awesome

 
The most disappointing superhero movie I've ever seen is Justice League. Not the worst one I've ever seen, but what we got compared to what it should have been makes it the biggest disappointment. This was supposed to be DC's The Avengers and it fell well short of that mark. DC had Wonder Woman and then immediately killed all the goodwill that movie bought them.

The worst might be X-Men Origins: Wolverine or Green Lantern, at least of the ones I've watched. Never saw Fant-four-stic or Catwoman, so I can't comment on those.

 
The most recent fantastic four could have been soon much better. I actually liked the first one with Jessica alba . The other two could've been better.
I feel like punisher war zone and ghost rider 2 should've just either skipped the theater and went straight to DVD or the syfy channel to be played in between those cheesy shark movies lol.

I'm interested to see what the next DC movie will be. Aquaman maybe?
 
Xuan Yuan Sword: The Gate of Firmament looks like it could be pretty interesting. Not sure if I wanna spend $15 on it.

The TJ Punisher movie was such a mix of great (fight with the Russian, nods to the comics, Thomas Jane's great portrayal) and really bad (most everything else). The Dirty Laundry short is the best Punisher "movie" by far. I can't wait to get netflix and watch the show. IGN actually did an article not that long ago pointing out that if the Dolph Lundgren movie hadn't had any Punisher elements it would have been another good Dolph action flick, but the Punisher expectations are what hurt it. Or if they had gotten full rights to use the punisher which apparently they didn't which is really odd to me.

I haven't seen many of the comic movies, but at the tv station I work at I had to sit thru Catwoman several times when we got it. Besides Halle looking very fine, there is no redeeming quality to it whatsoever. So many scenes are just super cringe worthy terrible and nonsensical. The worst I've seen and it's not even close.

Street Fighter Collection is pretty legit. I had about 95% of my matches lag free. There does seem to be a few issues with the collection

- They show SFV on the anniversary time line. Of course taunting us X1 owners that don't have the game. Maybe some day?

- No button mapping for 3x Kick or 3x Punch

- SF3 has mono sound except for third strike. Looks like a simple programming glitch of the emulation could probably easily be fixed with a patch.

- SF1 still is garbage tier. If anyone doubts SF2 was an amazing sequel go play SF1!!!

- ... and while getting the perfect the guy quit and I didn't get a win!

- Training mode is only for certain games. Not sure why.

- Lobby matchs are lag free but theres a bug where people get kicked out for no reason. Assuming a patch will fix it.

- The collection is obviously missing SF4 and SF5. You only get SF4 if you pre-ordered. SF5 is a PS4 exclusive and also not in the collection.

Everything else is great. Had a lot of fun playing through the various games and also playing ranked online for a few hours.

Question: Does Street Fighter 30th have support for legacy controllers on the Playstation 4? Marvel vs Capcom Infinite didn't have this, and that was frustrating.
 
It didn't? I thought every fighter on PS4 would have it after it was created. Maybe Capcom couldn't even bother with that much for a budget game. I was just playing MvC1 and Dungeons & Dragons beat-em-up yesterday - I miss the days when Capcom was one of the best publishers.
 
They recently pulled Enslaved from the EU market, sadly the never on discount DLC Pigsys Perfect 10 got pulled along. (Don't worry it's still available in the US though) But I certianly can't finish the game now hrm...since the weekly deals are so bad I'm going through 360 DLC content I should buy before it's lost forever...

 
Sorry for the way off topic question. 

I am thinking of getting the Best Buy credit card.  Need to buy a washing machine.  Just bought a TV from them and had some other issues happen to the house this month.  

I could pay cash but might want to take advantage of the 18 months no interest payments and hang on to a bit more of my cash.  

I seem to recall someone here recently has some issues with the credit card and them not applying payments properly?  I think it was this thread but maybe not.

If you want to pay towards the promotional balance and not standard presently-interest-accruing charges you must call them and specify you want payment applied to the promotional balance.

Gotcha. I would likely use it only for this and pay it off in two months anyway. After that I would use it for all purchases at BB.
