yeah Warframe is awesome. You start the relic grind yet? I love grinding out warframes and going into trade chat to sell/trade with other players. Then using that platinum to buy anything, even the stuff from the game store like skins. Chroma Prime came out the other day and I got 500plat from selling his parts because he was new, it's addicting.

Also one big thing people miss is that if you bullet jump while looking either straight up or down, you jump really high. I didn't even learn that till like 50 hours in.

I've just started looking at them more, and refining them to get decent stuff, but I need to unlock the rest of the star chart to really grind out more. I haven't tried trading for Plat yet but I will probably when I get more decent stuff.

 
FH4 Mixer stuff

I completed the prologue, which activated the Mixer influence.  I had over 2 million before it unlocked in-game.  The counter on Mixer has been reset.  My Mixer level in game is now 20, little more than halfway to 21, requiring 57,100 to level up.  If Mixer level always takes 100k to level up, that lines up with my numbers.  I had 3 super wheelspins and 147 regular wheelspins.  My next Mixer level up reward is a single wheelspin, so I don't think all of those came from the Mixer influence.  Edit: My overall level from the Mixer influence went from about 20 to the upper 150s, so that's where all those wheelspins came from.

Not sure what will trigger the game fetching the currently accumulating Mixer influence.

It looks like wampler13 created an FH4 club, though the tag is "m kh" instead of CAG.  Would need to search for "cheap" to find it, unless you want to join the CAGU / California Gurls club.

Odd that he was able to use the name "Cheapass Gamers".  When I tried to create ones named CheapAssGamer and cheapassgamer, it got blocked by the language filter.  I tried creating "CheapAs Gamer" and it said the name was already used.

Thanks bloomy and wampler13. Very excited, this is my first day one release game in...like 10 years. FH3 convinced me not to be a total CAG, even though I'm just buying gamepass.

Tag shows as CAG for me sometimes and m kh sometimes. Don't know what that is about! I thought I posted earlier, but must not've hit the post button. Thanks for spreading the word for me. The official name is "Cheapass Gamers". Don't know how I got it to work. Cheap Ass Gamers wouldn't. Still running into some funkiness here and there with the game. Such as how the fuck do I get cars from the car packs into my garage? Overall I'd still say the game is right awesome, though.

To get the cars, go to the festival site or one of your houses and enter the auto show. Sort by value and go to the left, all the DLC cars will be free to add to your garage. A bit tedious to do them one by one.

 
Gears eSports stream has begun.  They seem to be having problems with polls / quests, but Team Animal Hammerburst and San Diego Longshot / Enforcer / Markza skins were showing as quests.

DLC cars aren't being shown. I always have some dlc issues at launch of forza games. Gotta keep trying stuff. Time to uninstall and reinstall.

 
Did anyone else see the stats TA and TrueTrophies had about Telltale Games today? It’s an interesting look across their achievement and trophy data at the games and shows the retention of each series from game to game. The original Walking Dead was started by twice as many gamers across both sites compared the second most played title, The Wolf Among Us. No surprise the most played titles are ones that have been free, and Game of Thrones is the only one that comes close that hasn’t been free.

Tl;dr: TTG’s original Walking Dead was far and away the most started game, and even that struggled to keep players engaged

People barely complete their games, see the big events in FH 3 most players never did them...

Sometimes I think games should get a "autoplay" mode and you can just sit back and watch.

I'm trying to complete all exhibition and championships in Forza Horizon 3 and it seems like they activated all Forzathon "challenges" or something because I'm getting 3-5 after races. Not that they register as achievement points but picking up some cars I didn't have at least.

Me too. I left the game for about a year and a half after release. Came back about a month ago and have been grinding for 100% ever since. Think I'm just going to make it by Tuesday, too. Only thing I'm having trouble with are the last 100 or so photos.

Wtf is up with all the Farming Simulator sales on the X360 Marketplace? It seems like at least once every month (probably less than that) or so they put Farming Simulator and/or DLC on sale. My question is... Why? And who actually plays Farming Simulator?

If you don't want to buy the car(s) yourself, blueprint an exhibition and restrict it to a single manufacturer you need to get photos for. Check the lineup before starting the race. Took me a few tries to get the last couple cars overall, but if you're just going for the 300 for the achievement, it's a little tedious, but you should be able to knock them out.

FORZA HORIZON 3 Forzathon challenges don't display properly on your gamer card and might not show an on screen notification when you complete it. Trueachievements is one of the few places they actually show up.

I was wondering why some of them were not popping up on meeting the requirements, and tried over and over. Then I scanned my TA account and they all showed up there. Just a heads up if anyone else was having that issue and thinking they were glitched (more than they already are).

Speaking of Drivitars, Bloomy's was bumping me off the track like crazy this morning. I kept picturing him taunting me in Grimlock's voice.
 
I found if you play as a similar car as to what you need to photograph. I think I needed an AMC Gremlin. So I picked another AMC car like it maybe Javelin. Ran a race and it was in my race.

Also if you have a few specific cars you need I can see if I own them we could co-op long enough to photograph them. But not all 100 lol.

I am never going to get all the drafting so I am done trying to 100%.

There was a Forzathon challenge last week I could not unlock. Others online complained about it. I think it was doing three speed zones in a certain car. Even 3 staring one of them didn't trigger it.

Will have to check out trueachievements and see if they think I completed it or not.

Saweet!!! Since I only started FH3 a month ago this is great news. I was wondering if there was any way to get the prized cars from past Forzathons. I've only gotten one car so far but the XPs and the money help out, too. I know what I'll be doing this weekend.

I don't think Disney is supposed to actually take control for about a year still, the fact that this is coming out Christmas really sounds like they're just trying to make maximum money off of Deadpool before Disney is in charge. I don't think they have enough time to make an third movie before the take over. Really, the idea doesn't sound so bad if they're actually filming new stuff, though it's probably just the story-telling scenes. The fourth-wall breaking nature of Deadpool has the chance to make it work.

That said, I don't think I'll be seeing this in the theater. It did take Alita: Battle Angel's release slot, which I'm really looking forward too. That's probably for the best, I'm not sure how well it would do against the competition. Now it's in a pretty similar slot to what Ghost in the Shell had, though I hope it does better. I'm not familair with this manga but it looks like they're trying a lot harder with Alita, instead of just copying visuals and scenes from the 20 year old version without context like GitS did.

I think a lot of people play those games. Working at TRU I'd have people asking about them every week or two, from little kids to old actual farmers. It kind of makes sense to me, farming/growing/building is a somewhat popular idea in games, stuff like Stardew Valley, Minecraft, and even trash-tier Farmville expose people to the idea. Farm Simulator is just a more realistic option.

Thanks for the offer. I've been slowly chipping away at the 539 and have about 60 left to go. Seems like I first need to go in to the Horizon Promo and see if I can figure out what cars I have left. When Tuesday comes, my attention will probably be diverted to FH4 and it will be goodnight FH3.

I forget exactly where but it does tell you what you need. I too will be playing FH4 Tuesday or Wednesday. But, offer stands. If I can help I will.

In FH4, the road tracking is a bit buggy. When I got into the mid-520s, I counted up what I had left on the map, and there appeared to be a discrepancy of 2. I just figured I'd have to get up close to the TV to spot what was missing. I completed one road and didn't get a progress tracker update. When I hit 528, I started scanning the map and found a road that I hadn't completed. When I finished that one, the in game tracker popped 529/531 and the achievement popped.

There's a new solution on TA that notes the counter is off. Someone posted a couple pics in the discussion, but neither pic is for the road that didn't popup the tracker for me.

I had a couple not pop at first for me last night. Complete a Cult Classic race showed 100% on the tracker but didn't pop, but did after I ran the race a second time. The Mountain Danger sign also didn't pop after one successful attempt, but didn't show any progress either. Popped after a second try.

I think the Drivatars are supposed to mimic the player they represented, in which case, yeah, that's accurate.

Search for some drift tunes. I got great use out of a Willys Jeep tuned for drifting, but used a number of other cars as well. Also requires a lot of patience. But you only need to do it once, unless a specific one comes back in a Forzathon.

That one won't show progress on TA. The TA solution calls it unobtainable, and there were people complaining on the Forza forums about it.

A number of the Horzion Editions have cycled through a few times. I'm not sure what the game does if you have a full garage and you win one in a Forzathon, so I've been constantly removing cheap stuff from the garage (but only stuff I could rebuy later if needed).

The cars you still need are all the way at the right of the Horizon Promo list.
