Damn I don't know if pardox controls what goes on sale fully or Microsoft but this sale week has me upset. I already have city skylines and want the season pass but they only bundled it on sale same with surviving Mars/cities.
 
I know it’s only six dollars, but is there any advantage to owning Friday the 13th on an X1X versus playing it via PS plus with a standard PS4?

When I said it's 'fine' I meant that the bots themselves usually don't trigger the ban, it's redeeming too often.The ToS doesn't mean shit. Bing can and will ban you for whatever they feel like.

What have people been doing to get the Scavanger Hunt portion of The Bad Lands to register? I have the GS and days logged checked off. I keep clicking on the ruby in the skull (is that the right place?!) and it redirects me to another MS page that just says "Thanks for being a member" but never actually completes the quest.
 
I'm on Chrome on a Mac through VPN if any of that makes any difference.

On the Thanks for being a member page there is a box that says "keep Trekking" or "Escape the Badlands" decorated like the bad lands quest page.

That will take you to a search page that has a survey on it. "famous deserts" Answers: A. Sahara, B. Polar. C Arch Trail.

After completion it'll want you to click to get back to the rewards page and I think somewhere on there it may say finish hunt. It's been a bit since I finished it.

Man, I hate this shit. Got impatient and re-upped Gamepass for 3 months/$14.99 and now I see the offer for 3 months/$9.99 on my dash.

Thank you! I didn't realize it was an actual scavenger hunt, duh! Ok, so I got through the quiz, then clicked to return to the Rewards Page, there was a link that said "Keep Trekking" again, was that the right one? I clicked that and didn't get the checkmark. I didn't see a "Finish Hunt" button, and can't get the banner to show up on the Rewards Page again (even going through the links, finishing the quiz again etc.). Should I just give it some time to register, or have I still not completed it?

Thinking about picking up Ride 2 this time around. $12 isn't too bad and I've been wanting a motorcycle racer. Other than that I really don't see anything else I want.

No, it'll be Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, as Microsoft will want to get in on that Castlevania lovefest.

The Netflix show's second season debut last Friday & was amazing, and the PS4 remaster of SotN/RoB came out that same day. Microsoft will do what Sony can't - thanks to Backward Compatibility. I can feel it....

I’m not sure if it’s only been for EA Access members, but FIFA has been on sale for 30 percent off for at least two weeks already. It seems like a several triple A games have dropped in price shortly after coming out recently.

Fact that it's all logically connected is the singular reason why MS won't do it. Makes way too much sense and it will probably make them some money too - the only logical course of action is to abandon the plan and pick a junk-ass game for BC / GwG.
 
Haven’t played Ride 2, but I traded one of my tales from the borderlands codes to blinknot for Ride 1 and it was so bad I was pissed.

A good collection of games for GWG, but the only one I don’t own is Race The Sun. Ah, well, at least I can now go digital on the other three titles.
 
Assassin's Creed OG felt boring and repetitive when I played it nearly a decade ago, I can't imagine it standing the test of time any better especially with all the new Assassin hotness nearly every year.

Otherwise I don't own any of the Xbox One games! Half victory!

 
Weird thing happening, I posted the tweet here and I could see it just fine and then I posted it on another site and all of a sudden I can’t see it anymore it’s just showing a blank post.
 
Assassin's Creed 1 is the only old AC game I don't own and haven't beat since it wasn't that good, but I guess I get it now, that and Race the Sun for me this time around for new stuff.

The side missions in AC1 are very repetitive, but personally I think the core game story is one of the better ones in the series.

 
Excited for Dante's Inferno; really enjoyed that.

BUT I am baffled by BF1.  Absolutely baffled.  It's an EA game; why GwG?  Why not just keep it in EA Access?  And why now?  People that were on the fence about getting BF1 for cheap or hopping onto BFV will definitely not buy BFV in November now.

Well, I don't think you can nor should assume no one will buy BFV just because BF1 is free in November. However, I do agree the timing is off because normally, they would've given BF1 several months ahead or after BFV's release, not 3 weeks before.

Maybe is a last-ditch effort from EA to generate some (positive) buzz for BFV. Although we don't know how far in advance are the GWG titles chosen.

 
Wow, that's some games I was looking forward too being BC eventually.   Glad I grabbed Mirrors of Fate when it was on sale a few months ago.

As for this week's DwG, seems kinda meh.   Grabbed Gunstar Heroes, but didn't see much else.
