Can explain how this works to me like I am really slow? I have GTAV on my XBox but would pick it up on PS4 if truly free. Seems I have to spend $15 and get some sort of credit though? I was thinking of getting it for my brother he has a PS4.

PS4 is only a disc copy, not digital, and yeah you pay $14.99 but get a $15 amazon credit good til 1/31/19. I buy diapers every month from Amazon... so it’s as good as cash for me. If you never buy from Amazon then it’s not as good of a deal.

You have to create a Twitch prime account before buying for the deal to work. Twitch prime is free if you have amazon prime.

So long as you have Amazon Prime and that Prime account is linked to your Twitch account (and vice versa) you should be a Twitch Prime member than. In which case when you go to purchase either standard version of GTAV (physical and digital avaliable for both XBox One and PS4 is physical only) you should be able to get $15 credit back about a week after it ships or so. There should be information on the promotion on the product page itself.

And Donken already replied, but screw it, this is getting typed and replied because I'm bored at work.

 
Ah ok.  I never linked my accounts Amazon Prime and twitch account and the PS4 digital version is not available.  Thanks to both of you though.

While the dailies are kinda fun...honestly I wish they'd just drop them so hopefully that's what they did. Pretty frustrating when I'd be waiting for a few more Bing points to cash in a reward and then miss a daily deal because I didn't have the points yet. Or when you limit yourself to one game and you wait past a few you want hoping something better will pop up and it never does...grrr.

Pretty sure you can watch the Trinity trilogy on Youtube for free. Probably their best movies. Surprised they were brought back as a game, to be honest.

For me personally, I echo his sentiments about settlements being annoying to micromanage, but at the same time, I don't want the stripped down Fallout 76 narrative with no NPCs, either. Really, all I want is Fallout New Vegas but with the ability to pimp out your fort/house/wherever you live. I don't want to be responsible for a bunch of other assholes...I just want to be able to make my place look cool and then go back to wandering the wasteland for more useless junk for my pad.

Just checked it out. HoPiKo and Tango Fiesta are 2.90 if you don't buy them bundled, so you can save yourself 20 cents that way, depending on how cheap you're feeling.
 
Zombie Army Trilogy is the shit. Only two achievements I'm missing are the ones for the collectibles, but I really don't feel like going through the whole game solo just to pick up the ones I missed.
 
Chasm looks cool, especially one that wears its SOTN inspiration on its sleeve (loves me some metroidvania!).  I'm super into FarCry 5 though and I kinda splurged during the Balck Friday sale... so I think I can hold off on a bigger discount.  I'll keep my eye on it though.

Didn't they delist that dlc? I remember few years back when I was going for the 1000gs for enslaved and thought about buying the dlc but waited for a sale and it never came .

If I recall correctly, the Games on Demand version for the game in the EU marketplace was removed. NA was still up to download. Think I read that in a TA article earlier this year
 
No joke. I don't want to pay $4.99 for it. I can get the disc version cheaper but then it won't be Xbox One X enhanced and that's no good. I will probably just give in and get it sometime next year since I have already played 1-3 on the MCC and am really looking forward to 4 since some of the Metroid Prime guys helped make it but I've read I need to play ODST first storywise.

I played that whole game in 3D and loved it. Then I got to the Pigsy DLC and couldn't stand it and turned it off. I recall something about the DLC being sniper rifle gameplay which wasn't fun but I was probably just burned out of the whole game & world at that point. Also, the whole main story ending didn't help my interest since it was so far out there.

Anyway, 3D gaming was fun and underrated and so was that game.

Unless it's only like a dollar or something, I'd vote the Xbox version in every game scenario. Though I own a Switch and love it, I don't trust Nintendo anymore, they may suddenly announce tomorrow that they're done with the Switch and announce a new game thing with no backwards compatibility. Xbox games feel like a better investment; I use my Switch for exclusives.

Lumines is my exception. I bought it on both. Pre-ordered on Xbox but got it on Switch too because Lumines was meant to be portable.

Nintendo is going to ride the Switch train for a long time, I have no doubt about that, but I am wary of their DRM since they don't have a good history of maintaining servers and distribution for digital content. Both MS and Sony, to varying degrees, have kept legacy content viable through backwards compatibility, cross-buy, and a centralized network where anything that's on XBL or PSN will be there unless a publisher delists. I'm still bitter that VC never became a "buy it once, it works on all devices" deal, and the Wii Shop is now closed.

With Phil Spencer hinting at future gen supporting all Xbox content, my choice will also be Xbox in every scenario minus exclusives or exceptions for portability (although I don't yet own a Switch, I will probably dust off my Vita now that I have a PS4).
