Bad company 2 was my first battlefield game and it left me speechless. It was very fun to play and addictive especially just fucking around and trying to snipe from afar.

One can hope. It's the last achievement I need as well, but I'm not expecting anything. I firmly believe that the problem was always server side. They need to be reset, then we'll need to meet the requirements again to unlock the achievement. I'm not sure who controls the servers on xbox. I know that Sony and Atari shut down the PS3 version's online servers 4 years ago.

Bad Company 2: Vietnam dlc was terrific. Definitely one of the best dlcs I've ever purchased. It's worth picking up as long as there are people actually playing the dlc. It died out about 4 months after release and most matches were empty except for a couple hours a night.

 
Anyone here play or try out Tropico 5? Pros/cons? I am contemplating it just because I am sort of burned out on RPG and adventuring style games of late. Thanks in advance.

 
 
EA Access is tweeting that there are no current plans for the three games announced to day for BC to be added to the Vault but they will be passing the request on to the team.

Of course, I seriously doubt the "team" had no idea these were getting BC today so hopefully it will still happen quickly.

I picked up a copy at Game Stop before they jack up the prices. $4.49 with PUR. Usually by the time I see the BC announcement and get get to GS they jack it up. Never got a chance to play the earlier Battlefields. Forgot it was an EA title and was like probably be free to download next week with EA Access. If so I will return it I guess but otherwise at least it was cheap.

It's pretty great if you like those sorts of games. I don't have a lot of experience with Tropico games or that style of game, but I played it on PS4 and it controlled really well (controller was fine rather than have mouse & keyboard) and was lots of fun. Very addicting. I'll probably buy and try out Tropico 3 & 4 on Xbox 360 just since they're so cheap and based on my experience with 5. I just wish they were backwards compatible. I'm hoping they might be eventually.

 
I can imagine Major Nelson's face when he was about to tweet the BC titles knowing full well he was going to get swarmed, again, due to Black Ops II not being one of those titles. I'm willing to bet that if BO2 does go BC at some point, then the obnoxious ones will start pestering him over MW2 and/or MW3.

That would be amazing. It would be even better if every week major Nelson just said something about how it's "coming soon" "working on it" something to that effect and then just sit on it until there were no 360 games left. And then make original xbox games bc before bo2.
I'm not usually this passionate about Internet stuff but these bo2 posts have really irritated me lately

It makes no sense. If it was BC, I would have bought it for $5 on impulse. For $15 or the future, higher sale price of $7.50 or so? Nah. They know the games are on the way, but RDR has been the only game to match a good sale with the BC announcement that I can recall - and it sold like crazy.

 
I remember trying to get a kill with the drill on battlefield. Took forever. Then when I finally gave up on it a bad guy ran in front of me and lay down trying to call in an air strike. I used the drill on him while he was just laying there. Got that achievement and laughed that he had to watch himself on the kill cam get killed by the drill. It was the final kill so everybody watched it and laughed.
 
Hope this is ok to post here: I'm new to the Xbox one community (we'll sort of, I used to have a 360 it sat and gathered dust and I sold it with some backlog) and am getting an Xbox one next week. Do I pretty much NEED a gold membership?

The cheapest way to get games is by having a gold membership. it includes free games every month with the "games with gold" program.

a lot of 360 games are backwards compatible (playable on xbox one) and the games with gold program includes 2 free xbox 360 games every month!

I think it is pretty much like PS+. If all you want to play are single player games and don't care about GWG you should be ok. There are occasional free weekends of Gold if you don't sign up.

I believe they will offer you a 30 day free trial when you first log into the XBox One and sign into your account. At least they did back in March when I setup my XBox One after 3 years of not having a XBox.

Yeah I don't get it either. It's along the same lines of when a game is getting delisted. Like went not tell people a week ahead of time or when you're running a final sale on it a couple weeks out? Would get a bunch of sales on its way out at least.

fuck off HMX. Still not gonna pay $30 for a BS expansion full of fixes that should've been in my $60 game.
