I guess that makes $15 technically a sale price for Shovel Knight. You know a game is good when people on this site are considering buying it for a second or third (me) time.

 
I found a new copy of Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition for 360 on clearance at Target for $9.98 tonight. I believe this is the game that just became backwards compatible on Xbox One that you guys have been discussing. The Ultimate Edition includes Battlefield 1943, Onslaught Mode, Limited Edition Unlocks, and VIP downloads. According to the back of the case, the DLC is a single use code that supposedly expired on 8/31/2011, but it might still work. In any case, here's the DCPI number if anyone wants to search for it using Target Brickseek: 207220526.

Thanks only one here in Central Fl, but it's way over by Walt Disney World. Guy on ebay has multiple copies for $5 (ult. edition). Might go that route, depends on how Twitch streams rub me

There's not really that much under $5, nothing decent really coming to mind at least. I've heard Pacman 256 is alright but haven't tried it.

I'd say wait and hope a good sale starts Monday night. Out of the current sale the best value is probably Saints Row IV, but it's often in a four game bundle for like $7.

 
Hmm, just checked out Expertzone for the first time in a month. Their stock is looking pretty bad, they're down to only ancient stuff and clearance now, after having at least a few decent things a month ago. Maybe it's just from Christmas but I don't think they've been getting new stock for a while. I ended up canceling my forever backordered Rise of the Tomb Raider, and they never put up Quantum Break, ReCore, or Gears 4. Seems like they may be phasing out the physical rewards. If the free year of Gold keeps coming I don't care too much

If you have access it might be worth checking before stock runs out. The semi-decent deals are State of Decay, Ryse Legendary Edition, and Forza 5 GOTY. But hey, you can get the unplayable Project Spark for $2!

I'll probably pick up State of Decay for $6, I've been wanting to check it out again recently for some reason.

 
Has that 500 points/$5 and 1000 points/$10 promo ever ran before for Microsoft rewards?  Trying to decide if I should save all of my points for a once a year cashout or just use them as I earn them

Vermintide also has free DLC coming in late Feb that adds 3 new maps, 2 new weapons and some other stuff. Don't have a link or anything, just saw it posted by them on my X1 activity feed.

If you like Left 4 dead you should love Vermintide. If you hated L4D you'll also likely hate Vermintide

This is a good point. I'd say it's pretty high. And anyone that has an interest in Tropico would do well to pick one of them up at those loooooow prices before it goes BC and prices start at like $15 or $20

Not sure if it was posted yet, but apparently Ghostbusters (on 360) is pretty sought-after now. It's out of print and Atari doesn't have the publishing license anymore, used copies start around $25-30 and go up pretty quickly.

However, it's currently on XBL for $15, and sounds ripe for delisting at some point in the future. I may have to get it.

 
Also worth noting, is that Lego City Undercover will be getting co-op according to the game's listing on Amazon. That was one of the two complaints I always heard about LCU, only one person can play and long load times(as blinknot pointed out).
 
Now if they made Megaman 7+8 for X1 we would have all the original Megaman games.

Not counting MMZero Series, Battle Network and X series of course.

 
Wow nice work Major spoiling us with all these BC games this week. Greatly over exaggerated it's death. No Black Ops no problems. Just keep em coming. I'm sure Activision will sell remasters anyway :)
 
So it looks like XBL Rewards fixed my Star Tier today. And they even saved my progress towards my next star. Hoping to be at star 3 or 4 by the end of the year. :bouncy:

Wow. I just assumed they did both BC announcements this week on Tuesday for whatever reason. Glad to see Capcom giving the BC program some more love. I wonder if 9 & 10's DLC will finally go on sale now.

Yeah, you need to work somewhere that sells Microsoft products. Games, hardware, software, whatever. Every year they have training that gives you a year of Gold for free so it's worth signing up if you qualify.

I always thought it would be a good idea for them to mention when a game is going to be delisted and possibly have one last sale to get the word out. However, they just seem to remove them without warning most times.

A warning, with or without a sale, would make the most sense, yet it happens all the time. I think MvC2 got a warning in advance, and I know Castle of Illusion had a warning and a sale, but these are exceptions. For $15, I'd impulse buy GB if it was being delisted, but a lot of times prices have never dropped. That TMNT game from Platinum wasn't worth much, for example, but a sale would definitely sell copies if it was known it was being delisted.

I assume Microsoft has some kind of contract for how low a sale can go based on MSRP, length of time its been up, etc., since that lowers their cut of the sale, but digital marketplaces with licensed properties feel like the early 2000s and MP3s all over again: no one knows what the fuck they're doing.

Marvel had a warning and a sale. I still regret not buying the Games on Demand version of UMvC3 for $5, even though I already have it on disc. Everything else I scooped up though. That was the right way to do it.
