I certainly don't drink milkshakes much at all, but I'll bite.

1. McDonald's TRIPLE THICK vanilla shakes from like ten-or-so years ago
2. Wendy's Frostys (does that count?)
3. My wife likes Hardee's shakes
4. And Chick-fil-a
5. I really don't buy shakes

Number one worst is Burger King's Red Velvet Oreo shake. Tastes good the day you drink it, but the next day, you'll freak out and wonder why you're defecating blood.

Catherine is pretty damned unique. It's kind of like a more advanced Q-Bert with a little dating sim thrown in, but even that's not that accurate. I'd say it's worth a play at that price; I for one don't ever really regret playing something truly unique that's at least worth remembering instead of another generic shooter or whatever. If you find the puzzles hard, just put it on an easier difficulty setting.

At last.... my time has come...

I love me some shakes. I bought one of those metals blenders with the metal cups you insert from underneath like they have at a lot of restaurants, simply because I love making shakes at home so much. Oh those metal cups, they are the best for making shakes...

1.) Dairy Queen

What puts them over the top is you can get a chocolate malt made with chocolate syrup, chocolate ice cream, and then not just regular malt... but *chocolate* malt. You don't always want one like that, but when you do... it really has no peer.

2.) Steak n Shake

The only downside to these is that they are sometimes *too* thick to actually consume. But the flavors man, oh the flavors... and they give you proper quantities.

3.) Culvers

Frozen custard *is* a little different, and the shakes benefit from it in texture.

4.) Arby's

5.) Big Boy

McDonald's shakes are a myth -- we all know that shake machine is always broken or needs cleaning and never actually in operation.

Never had Sonic. They're just not anywhere near me here in Michigan. But I've heard great things abut theirs. I just can't include them based on that.

If you don't like Big Boy's inclusion because you consider it a sit-down, I could be persuaded to go the BK route I suppose. I love Wendy's frostys, but those aren't shakes and never will be.

I need to attempt to get back into that game (or get into the game I should say). I know it's a sim, but wish they had some more casual controls. Also haven't bought the latest expansion.

If you have the Survival DLC it's an awesome solo experience. It's really gotten me back into the game.

Did you play through the tutorials at all? I thought they were pretty helpful for getting used to the controls. I still made some mess-ups while docking my ship, etc. from time to time but I got used to them pretty quickly. I mostly just stopped playing because especially in the early game, there wasn't a lot to do besides go from port to port doing quests. For me, the game kind of suffers from the "big sandbox with not a lot to do" syndrome. I played the shit out of it for a couple of weeks after getting it, though. Debated picking up the expansion recently in case I ever get into it again, but opted to hold off.

Is it basically an MMO, first-person EV Nova then? I don't know if EV Nova rings any bells for anyone but.... as those kind of space games went, EV Nova was and still is beloved, even all these years later.

I took a dive into the game early on and really enjoyed it. It was even fun getting together with randoms to do some of the later missions. I'm waiting for the gold edition to drop below $20 to buy and give the DLC a shot

Something like that - the Escape Velocity series is perhaps more of a 2D take on the genre of games that Elite really pioneered (the first Elite game came out all the way in 1984). Elite Dangerous is the latest in the Elite series. But yeah, the essence of these games is the sort of open world environment where you have a huge galaxy to explore, and can engage in trading, combat, exploration, etc.

 
I'll get Andromeda later, maybe they'll announce some Xbox Rewards incentive for preordering or buying it at a certain time frame.

There's already one. A punchcard for pre-ordering digital games between 1/01 and 3/31. Andromeda is one of the qualifying games.

You couldn't just grab any Bluetooth adapter off the shelf and have it work, but something like a Turtle Beach headset that has a licensed, proprietary adapter would obviously work just fine.

I would like to say I am really happy I purchased Never Alone.  It is just a really nice experience and I feel like I am learning a little also.  Not a real difficult game and it is short but I am glad it is a game that exists.

Believe there's some, like the Astros, that will have a part that connects to the system and then the headset itself is wireless. Don't know if Bluetooth headsets work with the XB1.

I wonder if telltale will do a "bundle 2" type of thing by the end of next year with batman, michonne, Minecraft, guardians, and walking dead season 3. It doesn't apply to me since I've been buying them on sale individually, but you'd think if their first bundle of five or so seasons sells well they'd do it again.

Yeah, there are a few round here. Their buffalo burger is da bomb, I will admit that. Easy top 10, almost top 5 burger. But shake??? Nah, doesn't quench my taste bud's thirst for a good one *shrug*

So I solved the mystery of my missing Star. Apparently, according to XBL Rewards, I spent $599.91... :wall:

I guess the tracker wasn't rounding up the necessary dollar amount (example: showing $25 when I had to spend $25.09, as opposed to showing $26). They said they'd adjust it manually, so fingers crossed.

They also have seasonal shakes. Their winter shake is chocolate chip with peppermint chips in it. It has a great taste but i don't like to chew on the peppermint. Their summer shake USED to be banana pudding, and it still hurts to this day that they replaced it with a peach shake. WTF.

Can't blame him, every new BC announcement, even big ones, has nothing but people replying to whine about Black Ops 2. An employee stoking that shit fire doesn't help.

 
It's not even every new BC announcement, it's almost every single tweet he sends out - BC related or not, Xbox related or not.  It went to plaid a long time ago.
