Really good game. I know this is the Xbox thread, but Galaga Legions for PS3 is on sale for $2.49 on PSN this week. I bought it last night and beat the game on my second play through with no continues. I think the developers wanted people to play it over and over because it was really short. The graphics are amazing though. Some real psychedelic stuff.
 
The Morrowind CE for all platforms is now listed as unavailable on Amazon. If orders were to be cancelled, would it happen soon or closer to the release date?

I used to love Rampage at the arcade, and it's definitely better than anything else mentioned. I'd play that game for hours. Can't believe they're making a movie though
 
People tossing all these arcade cabinent names around, really showing their age. I'm all about the classics, like Tomb Raider (2013), DOOM (2016), or Prince of Persia (2008). True originals that will never be duplicated even though developers today are still trying.

Speaking of arcades, I wish the side scrolling brawler genre would make a comeback. Those were by far my favorite games back in the day. Shit like Final Fight (and the SNES sequel), Aliens Vs Predator, Crime Fighters, Captain Commando, The Avengers, etc. Miss those days. If they brought em back with achievements, I'd be content with just that.

I think we can all agree that Rampage would have been better with Mothra.

Everytime SotN goes on sale I get excited and tell myself it's worth firing up the 360 to use credit for, but then I remember that I own it on like 4 consoles and I haven't replayed it on any of them. #firstworldproblems #bearsaids

I remember Rampage 2 on the N64 and had a blast with that. My sister and I would always fight over who got to be Ralph (the werewolf).

For arcades, I was a sucker for the racing games. Cruisin, Daytona USA, etc. Would challenge random strangers to races all the time.

While I don't remember the name, there was a boxing game (in the ESPN center in Baltimore) where you would put on boxing gloves and work your way up the ladder. Lots of fun there as well although it would wear you out quickly.

Edit: Also, any game with a gun. Time Crisis and House of the Dead especially. Spent so many quarters on both of those games.

Prince of Persia 2008? Ha. Prince of Persia for MS-DOS FTW. Look it up. Bought it the same day as I bought my sound blaster and the pair made my IBM XT sing like nothing I had ever heard coming out of that computer. Chills I tell you. Chills.

MSDOS FTW? Stop making up words. PoP came out in 2008, it was The Sands of Time that came out before that. Next you'll be trying to tell me that Star Wars Battlefront, Prey, Strider, Shadow Warrior, Killer Instict, Syndicate, Spy Hunter, and SimCity were remakes as well.

I bought SotN for the holiday sale because I had the retro bug, and I like having everything on one platform. Forgot a few things that haven't aged well, though, like the very slow process of the game over screen to the start screen to loading your game when you die. You'd think for a port, they could have streamlined a "load last saved game?" option.

My family had an IBM PC-Jr and I played a ton of the original King's Quest, Lode Runner, some ancient roguelikes, and a few text adventures (Zyll, I think?). There was a Ghostbusters game, too, and my god was it awful. Now I kinda want to find some emulators and relive all those horrible games, which I'm sure have not aged well.

I'd wait till you can: 1) get a deal at the Auction House, 2) there's a ForzaThon sale again on Lambos (last time was 30% off, which is when I bought it), or 3) you have more credits than you know what to do with. I spent $6 million on wheelspins last night for the new HE cars (only got three).

Also, make sure you're signed up for Forza Rewards so you can get some free weekly credits. I get $425,000 weekly so that's wheelspin money.

 
Anyone who got in on the $30 R6 Siege and Year 2 Gold still have access to the game?  I didn't purchase it, just checking what the end result was

My local bowling alley had the 6 player variant, and a Tekken 3 standup. I spent sooo much money there when I was younger. Bowling for a couple hours Saturday mornings, greasy ass lunch, then 2-3 hours on the arcade games and controlling the jukebox.

Now I need to go see if I can find a standup of Xmen arcade. I can play the ROMs all I want, but there is nothing quite like a proper cabinet version. No MAME cabinet, real acarde unit.

Bowling alleys always had the best arcade games. I saw Street Fighter II Champion Edition for the first time at a bowling alley in Miami. My mouth dropped to the floor when I saw M Bison fighting Vega on E. Honda's stage. Must've squeezed my mom for about $50 worth of tokens that day. I never wanted to stop playing.

There was another BA here where I live that had WWF Superstars and The Simpsons side by side about 15 years ago. Used to stop by there on my lunch break and drop a few quarters. I was a little heartbroken when I came in one day and the whole space had been emptied out.
 
Anyone else play Killer Instincts using 2 fingers (pointer & middle), hitting the X & Y buttons?  I do and it makes me want to get a fighting stick but not sure what's good.  Any recommendation?  Had KI season 1 but haven't really played it after all its updates.  I checked out the free GwG season 2 and man this game gotten more fun.  Then I got in the Injustice 2 beta and with MvC3 coming soon and then MvC Infinite, I'm thinking about a fighting stick.

From the Microsoft Store? Yeah, playing it right now. I haven't ever seen games revoked when you purchase a code. If it's something you download off the marketplace directly (like when Fallout 4 was free), then they can easily revoke that.

Is anyone else having difficulty finding games on Bad Company 2? I tried for 20 mins and the most I got was a 2 v 2 conquest match.
 
After I graduated from college, I worked in a CPA office and did bookkeeping for a lady that owned an old school bowling alley. One month, I saw a bunch of $50 cash payments and called her to ask what they were. She had sold all of her arcade machines for $50 a piece - 4 topper Gauntlet, Ms. Pac Man... Everything... For $50 each. I almost cried.
