For what it's worth, the Blue Dragon category only requires you to spend $30 (on eligible purchases), and you get $3 back.

If you can find $20 worth of other eligible stuff that you want, it's not a bad deal. Most of them aren't/haven't been on sale though. :(

I'm gonna guess assassin's creed Rogue but I'd really like it to be Civ Rev. Dragon's Dogma would be cool though, I never ended up finishing it so it would be a good excuse to go back.

 
The only thing I ever really got that made the preview program feel worth it was a digital copy of Halo: Reach, after the update they put out killed the beta discs they used to test fitting more data on them.

I noticed that Bayonetta (360) is showing on the DWG page of Xbox.com for 50% off, but when you follow the link, it still shows for $19.99. I also noticed that it's not listed here on sale, nor does Major Nelson show it on his page. Is this just a listing mistake by Microsoft or am I missing something? And yes, I'm a Gold member.

It's good from what I've played so far. Movement is awesome. I never was into Attack on Titan so the naked Titans are a bit disturbing but it's fun. Still early on though so not sure if it gets repetitive.
 
I grabbed Attack on Titan. Watched a little of a twitch stream and gameplay seemed cool, and it's got 4 player coop which is a big plus. It's also one of the few Anime I've ever gotten into

There is no achievement for getting challenges. However, sometimes there are in game rewards (not sure if this is the case).

Blur was pretty sweet. It's more or less Mario Kart but with real cars. And instead of bullshit AI and blue turtle shells, you have bullshit AI anf get shunted to death.

Is a shame that the multiplayer is dead (as far as I know). Loved playing online in arena mode which was basically a desturction derby mode. Laying down mines and splitting them into multiple smaller mines and wrecking the crap out of my opponents was so cheap, but my thirst was quenched quite regularly off their salty tears.

And yeah that challenge in FH3 unlocks the Ferrari 599XX, an "Extreme Toys" sports car. I added that to my earlier post in the spoiler tag, to save page space.

Btw did anyone else get a Gwent Closed Beta invite message from Xbox Live. Noticed I had a message on my console and I'm downloading now.

i played for honor for an hour or two. when there's a lot of enemies surrounding me, it's hard to tell which way to block or strike. even more annoying is when they dodge or roll away from my attacks (especially when i am surrounded). the tutorial didn't cover how to handle that. looking for advice here. maybe i'd better just go back to ryse.

If I remember the advanced tutorial from the beta right, the block mechanic is simplified when surrounded. Block left for the enemy on the left, block up if they're in front of you and right for the enemy on the right. Though from my experience from the beta, I would just run and regroup with a friend.

no i was talking about the bigger enemy "heroes" (not sure what to call them)

is there no way to block the little soldiers though? the tut said to not hold the guard button to strike them but it didn't talk about blocking them. i assume they don't do any damage or it's not enough to worry about.

When you have multiple enemies around you hold the Left trigger to lock onto one of them, but you flick your right stick in the direction of the other attackers to block them. If you're playing online and you're being attacked from both sides you're basically fucked

Anyone up to play some For Honor in a little bit?

I'd highly recommend at least playing the first chapter of the story mode in For Honor. I still suck but learned a lot by playing the story.
 
Why do XBL deals pale in comparison to PSN deals? I am loaded up to the ying yang in XB credit, but can't seem to find anything worth pulling the trigger on.

 
I really liked Blur. I was a HUGE fan of Project Gotham though. If you did't like those games, Blur is probably not up your alley.

I got Double Dragon Neon. I hope it's at least decent. For $4, it was worth the gamble.

Exactly, it's a great arcadey "realistic" racing game. It's as if some awesome dude modded PGR with powerups and stylistic graphics.

I didn't even know Bayonetta was available digital but I checked and it's $19.99 so it was probably just a mistake.

I loved Blur. Basically a Mart Kart clone, but with realistic looking cars. I actually liked it a lot more than than Mario Kart. Personally think it's a hell of lot better than the Sonic knock offs. You can do up to 4 players split screen.

I was hooked when they had the free multiplayer beta.

Then were was some coupon that made the game like $20 when it first came out. The game is pretty hard to come by now. So you'll likely have to find a used copy. No longer available digitally.
