With Xbox Rewards, anybody else had their VIP progress not change when it should have? I have been stuck on 15% for a while now and even spending $100 in Feb did not move the progress. I asked about this on the forums, but they say my progress is accurate.

That sucks. I just finished the first part of Chapter 4 so I have 620/1,000. No issues on my end yet regarding chievos

Got that gamefly offer for $1 the first month w/2 games out at a time. Steep and Carmageddon, here I come. Games I want to play, but not really spend any moolah on. Andromeda, HZD and BotW in the queue. I live near a distributor so I can return a game and get a new one within a week's time. Worth a dollar

At no point does that happen. It's an awesome game.

I only finished A Kings Tale: Final Fantasy XV and Valiant Hearts: The Great War in March. Got all 1000 on each at least. Spent the month playing Battlefield 1, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Gems of War. Decided to get the rest of the achievements in Gems of War and it's a good podcast game, so I'm through like 4 episodes of Hardcore History's series on WWI.

Depending on how far you live from a Gamefly dist center, you could be waiting 5 days each way for games. My "closest" is 1200 miles away, so good luck! And now that the USPS is the United States Amazon Service, they take their sweet ass time with First Class mail.

Regarding backlogs, I've been making my way through Halo MCC in an effort to not spend money on new games (cough, Andromeda). Shooters work well for having set missions so it's easier to pick up / put down vs Zelda which I will play until 2am. I also replayed Shovel Knight, earning achievements in a game I've already thoroughly beaten on other platforms gives new incentives.

Playing MCC on Heroic and I'm enjoying the series a lot more than I did way back when, maybe because I played so much Destiny and have a bigger appreciation for the nuances in Bungie's game design. About to finish 3 and never played 4, so I'm looking forward to that.

The thing about all the hate towards FF13 is that it's a perfectly fine RPG but it's a shitty Final Fantasy game. Every game before it (even the original on the NES) had lots of side quests and opportunities for exploration. Pay attention to the map icon, it rarely is more than just a straight line and you don't get an option to go off the established path until the game is 95% over. Also, the story is not that interesting and hard to follow or care about.

I loved the battle system, but after 15 hours they are STILL introducing new mechanics. The battle tutorials don't stop cropping up until about 20 hours.

Again, it's not a bad game, it's just such a drastic change from what people expect from the series in addition to having some pacing issues that it's not highly revered.

As for games, I got Persona and Mass Effect, but I need to download Mass Effect, Divinity Original Sin, and ESO. Problem is I don't want to delete any games off my xbox currently because they are games my friends play thus why I need the external HD. Xbox is currently 99% full.

If you can wait, eBay usually has a $15 off $75 coupon every month. that's how i'll be upgrading from my 2TB to 4TB hard drive. newegg and best buy both sell portable hard drives on eBay for the same price as their store.

Catching up, so apologies if this was already answered. I've noticed that too with TA, and I think they have some optimizations where if your GS hasn't changed since the last passive scan, they skip you. Unlocking an achievement with at least 1 GS afterwards, or forcing a scan, should always pick up challenges.

As for backlog in March, I did pretty well! Finished off:

Hamster Universe (only took losing my save file twice and 2 complete playthroughs since one achievement didn't unlock on the first)

Still playing through Mass Effect, and I think I only like a few of these new crew members. The angara, Drack, and PeeBee stand out. The other three, eh, I never take them on missions.

I hope the next one goes back to a more linear, ME 2 type of game. These huge worlds take forever to get through and it slows the narrative down. I'm done with open world games after this. Well, Shadow Of Mordor 2, Crackdown 3, and the rumored new Arkham game.

I'm just worried it won't sell well at the set MSRP and they'll decide not to make a sequel as a result. I'm interested, but not $50-60 interested.

I seriously doubt many of these remasters sold well at $50-$60. I certainly don't think they should take in sales at full price into consideration for any sequels.
 
Man that ME Andromeda is a going to be a blast trying to beat it on Hardcore.I just started it and wow the game looks amazing not so much sara ryder but everything else is great.

They are suppose to announce something on Tuesday. That's the one thing that's good about Bioware, when it's player base complains they usually try to fix it (looking at you me3 ending)

My father passed away earlier this month and I've been killing myself with my uncle digging through his home (which is 4+ hours from my house). No cable here.

finished mass effect 2, need to play it again to pick up the achievements I missed and 75g just for beating it a second time, enjoyable overall I ignored nearly everything besides recruitment and loyalty missions, and playing on normal I had no trouble despite misssing tons of upgrades,which did cause me to lose most of my crew. If I do new game plus can I play paragon despite being renegade on my first run through? need to hit level 30
