I thought the same too when buying Alice (got Shadows in a previous sale). But other than some arcade games, it seems like EA Access focuses mostly on major franchises like Mass Effect, Dead Space and Dragon Age for BC.

At least that's the way I justified spending more money ;)

Well, duh. Considering just shy of 75% of 360 BC games are on sale, there's gonna be an overlap of 360 game pass titles that are in this sale. And as blinknot pointed out, not much hitting BC the last week cause this huge sale was already planned. Didn't wanna leave new BC titles out of the sale.

Anyone have a suggestion for which Puzzle Quest game I should get? Only have enough money for one, keep hearing it getting high praise in here

Play Gems of War. It's free and is the same thing from the same developers.

 
Man that's a lot of 360 games on sale.  I wish I had more than $2.06 in my account.  There are a couple 2.49 games I don't necessarily need or want, but might be tempted.

On the other hand, no sense adding more to the backlog I guess.  I don't know that there are any 360 games left I really need.

If anyone's itching to spend like $2 or 3 on any of those, I might recommend NBA Jam On Fire Edition, The Maw, Ticket to Ride, and Toy Soldiers.  Also if you don't already own Torchlight, shame on you and go get it for $3.74.

Oh crap, Geometry Wars Retro Evolved is $1.24.  Well.... I might bite on *that* I suppose....  dangit.  Why did I come here to look at the full list and sucker myself in?...

Anyone have any opinions on the orange box? I'd basically just be buying it for Half Life 2 and Portal, right? I'm assuming Team Fortress is dead

I loved the first one, HATED the second. I've tried playing it a couple times but could not get into it/got stuck early on and rage quit.

Check out Puzzle Quest 1 for sure, I sunk many hours into and picked up the DLC too.

I know Galatrix was supposed to suck but thought PQ 2 was supposed to pretty good.

Literally the only reason I have mine still hooked up outside of playing Titanfall 1 on the 360 for lulz.

Also have my wifes profile on the 360 and you can grab 360 and X1 games with gold that way pretty easily.

I just sorted out my 360 games that are BC/console exclusive/available on Steam. I'm down to 52 console exclusive games left that are not BC, not counting XBLA titles which seem to become more and more BC by the week anyways.

Hmmmm, Gems of War keeps crashing everytime I try to play it(same with Killer Instinct). I guess I'll finally delete and redownload it, then snag the Puzzle Quest 1 demo on my 360. See if PQ1 is worthy of my monies. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!!

The consensus seems to be that they struck gold with the first game and the second one was riding on that success / was a disappointment.

There is an error code, but I was trying to get dressed for work at the time, so I didn't see it. Google suggests checking the privacy settings to see if the default setting has disabled account purchases. The first thing that I plan to do after I get in this evening is check that before calling the Xbox Live hotline to tear them a new one.

I don't think anyone's account is truly locked. What I believe they mean is that it's locked out of buying anything. You are not literally locked out of anything except buying a game. All it does is throw out a error when you try and buy something. That's how it worked for me when I bought games to fast and triggered a fraud alart.

I thought Galactrix was pretty good for the interesting change it provides to the base puzzle design, but if I'm remembering correctly, it gets to be more BS near the end to get to new parts of the galaxy. What I remember of PQ2 is that it's like they tried to force Diablo into it with dungeon crawling and more loot to collect without improving much else about it.

Sorry I did not mean to come across as rude in my post. I was only commenting on what I thought went on when a person got blocked from buying games due to fraud protection. If you account is totally locked I didn't mean to suggest you where not telling the truth.

There is no question of the quality of the first game, but if I had to say something bad about it I would have to say that it wasn't long enough (I really enjoyed it).

Pretty much everything I would want from the BC sale I already have or I have on disc somewhere.

I was gonna buy Catherine and Killer is Dead finally after I skipped them the last 2 times they were on sale recently but they cost a few dollars more now so no thanks.

I noticed that Alice: Madness Returns is missing from the list in the OP.  I wouldn't have known about it if not for recent posts.  I find it interesting that you can still buy the 360 version even though the Steam version has been pseudo-delisted.

Can anyone say whether Portal: Still Alive is worth buying if I've already played through both Portal games?  And is the Still Alive content exclusive to 360?

MLP will still live on my heart. But time to pay homage to Persona 5. Knowing we will probably see Persona 5 Crimson, Person 5 Dancing All Day and other spin offs before we see another Persona game. My guess is Persona 6 in 4+ years but I hope I'm wrong. Hope we see a X1 version someday as well, if not a switch version.

I think the fan-made levels are available for free on Steam. Orange Box is a way better deal, and it's only ~$1 more.

 
I remember back when they had that get $10 off code that worked unlimited after the x1 reveal where you could keep getting $15 codes for $5 I added so much to my account that they locked me out of adding funds and buying games for a few days.

Unless you're a big portal fan I don't think it's necessary. I don't remember off the top of my head but I believe there are challenge rooms that aren't in the orange box version and achievements that the other game doesn't have. Other than that it's a bit overpriced for what you get when you compare it to the contents of the orange box and what that costs.
