The backwards compatibility sale is perhaps the single greatest sale that Xbox Owners have seen thus far or may ever see, and I just wanted to say that I'm glad to be one of you so that we might partake in this sale together. So many obscure titles and so many of the greatest hits of all on sale at once. I just wanted to stop and enjoy this moment.

Ah, well. Back to Torchlight which I just started.

I was trying to check prices on the store on my console for the BC games and it kept saying check my internet I was like wtf it shows in online so I signed out and back in and its working fine now so try that.

A lot of the 360 arcade titles have free demos, so you can try before you buy. But I've enjoyed Arkanoid, Lumines Live, Qix++, and Torchlight so far out of the ones that I bought. I'm considering Encleverment too so let us know how it is.

Must be thinking of either Alien vs Predator or Alien Isolation. Colonial Marines looked good before launch but what a huge shitshow and one of the reasons so many people turned against Gearbox.

 
It looks like you don't need to download the separate American McGee's Alice to access the original game from Madness Returns. It must be part of the BC download

Not that I'm interested in playing it but I got Evolve Ultimate Edition when it was free on Games with Gold. I was going through my "ready to install" games on my Xbox One and it's not there. When I go to the xbox site it shows the game as "You own this product" but no ability to download it. Anyone have this issue?

Edit: Same thing with Project Cars.

If I change region will I lose the money in my wallets that I use for Xbox One? I have about 45$ CAD, 10$ HKD, a few cents in USD and a few cents in Russian dollars. Or does it means that I just won't be able to access it on 360?

I would like to buy Of Orcs and Men which was only release in Europe for Xbox 360. So I would need to do a real region transfer.

The final week of the Heroes of the Storm event is active, you earn 10 lootboxes for Overwatch. The leaked OW event didn't start today, so maybe it'll only be 2 weeks and start next week. I'm playing 4 or my 5 games now just in case it starts during the week and those boxes are somehow for the event instead of standard.

 
I apologize if this has been asked ad nauseam...but what's with all the games that are in the BC sale that...aren't BC? Like Orange Box and Left4Dead? Are they going to be BC now/soon?

Nope I only have 4 games installed on my xbox one. I just went to the store on the xbox one and when I search Evolve: Ultimate Edition it still shows the price but when I click it it shows a couple pieces of the bundle as owned but not the base game or the majority of the stuff in the Ultimate Edition.

They are appearing on mine. I read on Reddit that for these two games, you also had to buy the free base edition during their GWG month to make them appears in the install list, so that is what I did.

If you migrate your account (going from one region to another), you lose all currency for that previous region since they don't convert your balance. So if you are going to migrate your account, spend your current money first before switching.

Also, IIRC, your account will be in that region for three months before you're allowed to "come back".

The Xbox money is share between Xbox One, Windows 10, Xbox 360, but to use it on the Xbox 360 games, you need an Xbox 360.

Microsoft/Xbox credit (previously referred to as points) can only be used to purchase :360: content from two different places:

  • On a physical :360: console.
  • From the virtual :360: console used for BC games on an :xb1: console. This is typically only for :360: DLC when you can access the Xbox store from within said BC game.

I feel like this is covered A LOT...

 
So even though I have a crazy backlog and my One collects dusts from a lack of playing recently..Shadows of the Damned was too good to pass up.

Even with MS' questionable decision making of late, I'd expect something this backwards and illogical from Nintendo.

From what I remember, we used to be able to use Microsoft Points on the website, but at one point, they changed something and they never bother fixing that.

It happened when they switched from points to real money.

On a sidenote I still can't download Phantom Dust it gets around 900mb and then fails anybody else having thus problem?

And yes I already restarted my console.
