Has it ever been determined why it's impossible for the XB1 to display the sale prices of 360 games underneath the box art when browsing the sales on the dashboard? I know we can see the prices here or make a few clicks ("See Price" first so yet another fucking click), but that irks the holy living shit out of me.

The DLC is integrated right into the main game. No separate save file. A new section of the map opened up for DLC 1. Assuming the next two DLCs will follow suit.
 
Welp, I wasted $2.49 on the digital LUMINES. It won't recognize the DLC without the Qubed disc. Should have known better.

Most likely MS doesn't care to. Same reason we can't buy 360 stuff on XB1 or the web with our credit balance and the BC titles are overly bloated on XB1.

Trine is great. I played 2 first and loved and ended up getting the 1st and 3rd. On playstation systems tho, not sure 1 and 3 is on Xbox

I doubt anyone definitively knows the answer to this, but I figured I'd ask just in case.  Does anyone know if DLC for backwards compatible games counts toward that Xbox Live Rewards spend $40 for 4,000 credits offer?

I'm already at around $30 and I'd consider getting the BioShock Infinite Season Pass if I could get $4 back.

 
Are the Rare N64 classics worth getting on XBLA (eg Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Perfect Dark) or is emulation a good enough substitute? Don't have an XB1, just a 360. I have a PC, but these don't really need a good PC to emulate anyway.

Banjo kazooie games are up to you. If you can enjoy a game just as much on a emu then go for it. Otherwise get PD on Xbox its way better than any emulator

Had a hell of a time buying the 12 month code from cdkeys. Their system kept trying and cancelling my attempts at buying with a debit card, linked that card to my mother's paypal account, tried paying through​ PayPal, and it failed yet again. Wrote support and they were no help, blaming the failures on my browser. Waited a few hours, tried again through PayPal and the order Finally wrnt through. Never had any issues like this with cdkeys before.

Alright, just finished up the last round of purchases.

Ended up buying 65 BC games, bringing me to a total of 288 BC games owned digitally. Cost around $165 of Xbox playmonies. Only 100 games to go, not bad at all.

Would have grabbed Of Orcs & Men and Lance Armstrong Simulator '11, but no luck. It seems like right now you either have to own a PAL 360 or a British debit/credit card. However, if they ever go around re-implementing buying 360 games through the website with credit, it'll be much easier to do.

On the bright side, I had 0 problems with lockouts and I bought a ton. I did pay for it entirely with funbucks so that might have something to do with it. Or maybe MS just loves me. :bouncy:

This week's sale's not nearly as good, but it's still one of the better ones we've had this year and probably the best MS publisher sale since the 360 days. Already grabbed Dogfight after missing it last time, looking at Kinect Sports Rivals, Powerstar Golf (I don't think this game's ever gonna be GWG at this rate) and the last DLC for DR3. I'd be looking at Screamride but chnandler hooked me up with a better price. ;)

I was super stoked about this BC sale... too bad about the timing of it. I did pick up about 20 XBLA games in the end, with Alice being the only "disc" game I picked out. (Holding out to see if Bully hits 3.74 again sometime.) But even as surprisingly fun as it is, I'm not sure I can bring myself to go back to Alice now... I spent all day Thursday playing it thinking my cat was on the mend, only for him to cross over just before 1 PM the next day. So now I'm filled with regret for a number of reasons. All the money spent just to keep him around for 2 more weeks was worth it to me, though.

But yeah... good show, MS. Do it again sometime.

Not a PSA, but hopefully none of you ended up rebuying any of the games you got through the Sales & Specials app (they show up in your Ready to Install list regardless which helps, but the website is still fucking clueless).

The Xbone stuff changes back right on the dot, but the 360 stuff usually takes longer to be changed back to regular price. Most likely because it requires someone there to change them manually whereas the Xbone sales are more automated.

Prices still active for the Backwards Compatible 360 games as of 5:09 am this morning. I finished my buying frenzy today by picking up all the Hardwood games series, Gin Rummy, Shotest Shogi, Texas Hold Em, and Soltrio Solitaire. Most of them take up little to no space on my hard drive. Down to $1.37 in my account, but since there's nothing that I want in the Microsoft Publisher sale, I thought that I should let it ride.

You guys convinced me to buy Tour de France 2009. I'm concerned because it's developed by a company called Cyanide.

Yep, just finished it on PC. Even at 60fps, it's not worth anything over $10. Their last game Alan Wake was far better. The other guy should just save his money and wait for it on GwG... and if it never comes, no lost on not playing.
 
Forza Horizon 3 has four new ONE DAY ONLY challenges up for Tuesday.

The Soaring Luxury one is proving to be tough even with the maxed out S1 upgrades to the Mercedes-Benz G 65 AMG.

EDIT: Finally got it. You have to hit that Airport ramp at just the right angle doing over 136 mph and land in a good spot in the trench to get over 550 ft. Took a lot of rewinds to maintain my speed leading up to the ramp, then even more rewinds trying to nail the best possible angle. This challenge is cruel for a one day only event.

On the bright side, it was pretty janky on the 360 so it'll be nice to have a better working version like PC.

I assume there's no details yet about what DLC is included/if the bonuses for having a save from the first game are included?

Edit: Battlefield 3 Premium isn't in MajorNelson's sale list, so it's probably a permanent price drop. (Would explain why it's still $30)

The BC Super Sale was great! I didn't believe Microsoft still had it in them but they managed to impress me.

I finally have Ticket to Ride and I'll make sure to pick up the DLC for it to drive the point further home (i.e., older games on sale = added revenue).

I would have preferred several smaller sales to this one huge sale, though. I'm sure I would have spent more too.
