Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

[*]All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every Tuesday.
[*]ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...

Thanks, but again, I only want digital, so even if it was $1.99 at GameStop it wouldn't help me any.
Did you do the Andromeda 10-hour trial that comes with EA Access?

EA Access is $5 a month - if you do not buy it for $30 annually. The 10% discount for being an Access member equates to $6 - so you'd come out money-ahead for joining anyway. And you'd be able to see if you really want it in your collection or not.

If you're one of the few that enjoys the game, then sure - buy it digitally like you usually do. But you may likely find that its a Let's Just Get This Over With title, and buying it used for $20 and completing it - then burning it in a fire to forget it ever happened - makes the most sense. (The length of the list of Mass Effect fans that swear they'll never do a second playthrough of Andromeda is staggering.)

So what is the deal with Storeparser? It only shows a few pages, and when I sort by newest first it switches things around constantly and doesn't show everything. Aside from viewing price change history is there a fix for this?
I don't know why it isn't showing things like you posted in a follow up post, but the sort order changes are probably how they're pulling things from their DB. Their DB query is probably just ordering on a single column (the time stamp they noticed the price change) instead time stamp primary and then alphabetical secondary, so switching pages, or even reloading, can reorder the list if the DB returns things in a different order. Can make it a pain since I use them for DLC price changes, and if I see the same thing on 2 pages and don't know if something else popped in or their ordering isn't screwy. And they appear to have started using a URL redirector to link to the XBL store, which has recently been blocked by employer as adware. The Share button appears to have everything - a lot of F2P stuff.

As an example,

https://www.storeparser.com/en-US/xbox-360/deals/ - Missing Transformers

https://www.storeparser.com/en-US/xbox-360/deals/sort-by-date-desc/ - Shows Transformers

https://www.storeparser.com/en-US/xbox-one/deals/ - Only shows 3 pages of deals, ends at the letter 'F', so anything on sale from Four Sided Fantasy on is not listed
I see, you are right. I didn't notice that problem. There might be a problem with PHP I suppose, because even if you try entering the page number manually it doesn't find it.

Read my post on the previous page (and the page before that), I just have no use for new or used game discs. And yep, thoroughly enjoying the game trial.

Does it not get repetitive after a while? I visited 3-4 planets and a lot of the quests were all to similar that i got bored with it. Specially the storming of the enemies bases. Got old quick.

I believe I'm numb to grinding and fetch quests, would only explain why I didn't mind ME:A, Borderlands & Fable 3 lol. Games are repetitive, it just takes that extra magic making that repetition fun.

Expanding on my previous post, you guys can also check the Steam store pages for a lot of these titles and see the screenshots/videos/reviews. Reviews might have some PC-specific issues, but a lot of them will have information relevant to a console version.

Also, the Tachyon Project ($2) is a Play Anywhere title which is neat. But it's part of a bundle with Super Toy Cars for $12 (Super Toy Cars is $10, which makes Tachyon Project effectively $2 in that bundle), so you can either hope for a separate sale on Super Toy Cars or just wait 'till the bundle itself is discounted.

Or just don't get Super Toy Cars and get Tachyon Project by itself.

I 100%'d Tachyon Project. I put more hours into it than I put into most indie games, and even some retail games. It's very glitchy (especially the frequent audio slowdowns) but enjoyable and has a bit more depth than Geometry Wars.

Super Toy Cars is absolutely one of the worst games I've ever played. I couldn't make it through one race. Table Top Racing is much, much better. And it actually wasn't great either, but it was playable at least.

$24 for Hitman? Yay or nay

Hell yay! I love this series and while i think they made this one a bit too....'accessible' (it basically holds your hand and leads you to the end of missions) they did an amazing job and it has great bonus side missions.
Played it on PC, and watched Giantbomb play so much of this. Great game.

A lot of the hints (which does hold your hand to some of the most hilarious solutions) can be turned off. Keeping it on to start might help you to get accustomed to the goofy logic of the game.

Nothing new...

Am I the only one who noticed the screenshot is clearly Castlevania II and not the original the box art would suggest?

Had no idea the Xbox version was so awful. Runs fine on PC, another one of the games the Steam thread has played together. I guess I'll get it then.

Does anyone have any opinions on Laserlife?

Finally - a sale on Rogue Legacy.
Yeah at 75% off, no less. And people over in the Steam thread are STILL waiting for the PC version to be bundled.

I just redeemed $50 in xbox credit for this sale and I somehow ended up spending like $30 of it buying neo geo games.

Now I need more credit. This cycle never ends!!!

Just wait for it to hit the Vault, you surely have a big enough backlog to occupy you until then!
I don't normally subscribe to EA Access, for me it's just a waste of money since I own everything currently in the vault that I'd play. I'm subscibed this month just to play ME3 multiplayer, missed playing it so got a one month sub off of cdkeys cheap.

Vault games I own...
Battlefield 3 & 4
PvZ GW2
Unravel
SW Battlefront
Battlefield Hardline
DA I +all dlc
Titanfall
Peggle 2
DA Origins
Dead Space 1, 2, & 3
PvZ

There's nothing left in the vault I want to play except for ME3 multiplayer.

I'll let you know when it's done downloading. I had never heard of it till tonight. The Steam reviews had me at "REZ-like". Aaero has been one of my most-played games the last few months, I don't know how I missed out on another REZalike. I'll take 'em where I can get 'em since I doubt REZ HD is ever going BC.

Even though it sounds like Momentum is brutally difficult, might pick it up loving ball rollers and there's a lack of them on X1.

Marble Blast Ultra for BC please!

Level 22

Tachyon Project

Letter Quest

Ninja Pizza Girl

The Bridge

Shred It

Rogue Legacy

Not a bad haul for less than $20!

I got Rogue Legacy when it was released on PC. Then got it on PSN when it was brought there and I am literally about to buy it a third time now on X1... haha what is wrong with me?! Or better yet... how is that game so good!

Now Dead Cells needs to make its way to consoles and I will likely rebuy that multiple times too ; P

Also on the fence on Mega Coin Squad, looks like a fun silly local multiplayer game. Anybody have experience with it?

How the fuck did I miss this?
I am pretty sure it was a pricing glitch for a few hours last week or maybe week before. Wasn't up for long before they fixed the price.
It was $25 used, PS4 was $15. It lasted a few hours last Wednesday morning.

Ok, well still, wait for a bigger sale then. It'll be $40 or less digital in no time. You should still have a big enough backlog. :p

Finally!  Rogue Legacy!  And so cheap!

Now all I need to wait on is Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and Enter the Gunjeon.

Will probably get Monochroma too.  I suck at those style of games, but I love them so.

I'm think I might go ahead and nab Stardew Valley too.

Oh my lordy I'm gonna double the amount of games I've bought this year. Some of these games are TOO cheap to pass on. I'm going in blind on a couple of them.

Thanks Bloomy!

Are you under house arrest or something?
I guess some people just don't read all the posts, even just two or three pages back before jumping in with unwarranted snark. I explained why I have no use for disc games already, but since you didn't read it I'll go ahead and retype it here, just for you...mmmk?

My drive got messed up during one of the many useless xbox dash or system updates and will only read a few certain discs. So I have no use for disc based games, no matter how cheap they are I can't use them, so it's digital only. Now you're all caught up.

Only problem with the backlog is there's nothing in it I really want to play...lol. I think it was on sale once already but I was broke then, now that I have funds in my account it's not been on sale again.

Anyone play Bit Dungeon Plus, Breach and Clear, Dungeon Punks, Organic Panic, or Siegecraft Commander? I'm getting plenty of others but these are the ones I am on the fence about
BDP is a pretty good procedurally generated game that borrows a little design from classic Zelda. But being procedural, it suffers from having no discernable story (at least as far as I've played it). The Achievements are super grindy too.

Picture this - all three games on sale 75% off and announced for BC in that same week.

I don't recall it it was asked before, but have you spoken to Xbox Support about that issue?

Owning your faves on multiple systems isn't unheard of here. The best way to justify it is to say that you don't have to hook up system "A" anymore when you have it on system "B" which is always hooked up. Then you have to have it on system "C" which is a handheld because you want to be able to play it on the go. And then you buy it again on your phone aka system "D" when the mobile port comes out.

No I haven't, it's out of warranty by several months now and I hate dealing with Microsoft support. They'd probably want it sent in anyway (whenever I had a problem with my 360 and called support they'd want it sent in without offering any other help) and I can't be without it for that long, can't afford to pay to have them look at it either. I'm ok with digital only anyway though, discs are a hassle I'm happier not dealing with.

The 5 most purchased games during this sale will be added to the Game Pass on July 1st.

Doesn't even have to be favorites. I mean, you can't call a game a favorite if you've never played it, right? Hello, RE4 (GC, Wii, 360, XB1 - though I know others can top me on that).

Man... just beat Dragon's Lair for the first time.  Why do I feel so good about myself?  Lol

edit: Aaaaaaaaaaaaand just beat it again on Arcade mode.  I like this game lol
