I also don't own any of the GWG so that's a plus I guess. Kane and Lynch 2 has online co-op right?

edit: Blink runbow has online for Steam so should have online for X1.

I gotta be honest... I'm so sick of the 4-player competitive battle/race style games on the X1.  They're nothing but GWG fodder and they're titles I'll never end up playing more than a quick peek to usually confirm my suspicions.  I watched a video of Runbow and I think that's good enough for me.

Grow Up looks neat though.

It would probably need more memory but not substantially more. The NES has about 300 megabytes, they might be able to work with that, 500 would likely be a big enough upgrade, and a gig would be plenty of room and still not be much of a difference in cost. The actual hardware might need beefing up but if they have the same team program an emulator specifically for it like the NES, then it might do the trick as is. As is, someone just slapped Retroarch on it and games don't run super well.

I hope this is GWG is fake but it seems like it's probably not. Grow Up is supposed to be alright at least. All I know about Runbow is had a ton of characters from other indie games in it.

I bought Lego Pirates and Grow Up when they were on sale and have not played them yet. I wish I could say this was the first time that's happened to me...Glad I'm taking a break from game purchases until the big fall releases so I can work on the backlog.

I have started Stardew Valley though and I am getting into it big time. I have a bunch of friends that have played it a ton so I've been asking them a bunch of questions. Reminds me so much of Harvest Moon 64 which I'm pretty nostalgic about. Seems like the achievements will be a bit of a grind. It'll be a nice change from For Honor which I had been playing non stop for a while, will be a lot less frustrating not being disconnected from matches 50% of the time.

I bought Lego Pirates for PS3 but never got around to playing it before selling off my PS3. Doubt that will change now that I can play it on my XBox One.

I have played a bunch but not even half of them. Been a while since I played one. A bit burnt out on them. Maybe some day but I doubt it. I think they got better as time went on and not sure if it would hold up well enough for me or not.

I'm sure Nin can compress things more but in my experience with emulation of the 64 the games are a few hundred mb apiece, where the new and snes are usually only a few mb apiece

I thought we never would get LEGO Games so I bought Lego POC and haven't touched it yet...still only a little loss since I only paid liekt a little over 2€ for that...

 
Microsoft was overdue to shit the bed with GWG. They had a good run.

Oh and by shit the bed I just simply mean no old major XB1 retail releases that so many people hold as the measuring stick as to if it's a good month or not. These games will probably end up pretty decent truth be told.
 
Any word on new titles being added to Xbox Game Pass? I thought it was announced they would be adding new titles monthly.
 
I was hoping July Game Pass games would be announced today as well. A lot of us suspect many of these Indy games on sale this week are going to be on Game Pass soon, it's only a matter of which ones ala the BC Super Sale.

If no good Date Night drops, I'll probably buy more Indy games than I already have. Odds don't favor two consecutive weeks of good sales.

 
Doesn't matter what MS or Sony put out right now, there's going to be an official release of Star Fox 2?! I stay off the internet for one day...

And yeah, MS was overdue for a lackluster GWG month. I never played Runbow but I may give it a chance. Kane & Lynch 2 is one of those co-op games I'd be willing to play but never wanted to pay for, so whatever.

FYI on this - I found some short novellas by Marion Zimmer Bradley on the Microsoft Store for a whopping $0.55 each. So that's $4.45 profit or thereabouts from the $5 gift card thing.

Even if you never read the book, that's a good margin of profit right there.

 
of course GWG would suck on the month I forget to turn off auto renew despite having more than enough bing points to get a full year.

Thanks. I got Sleepy Hallow for 56 cents (1 cent tax lol). You can also use store credit. So basically 56 cents for $5 MS credit that has to be spent in 90 days when redeeming.

This TV has set the new standard for budget TVs in terms of quality/price. I got a refurb 4k Samsung through bjs.com awhile back but it has faux HDR. This TV has gold standard for HDR. It also has a shockingly good input lag ratio. Obviously not going to be as low as a 4k monitor but it's insanely low for a 4k TV.

 
Got Grow Home long ago with PS+. Played for about 5 minutes and never played again. Has different controls, but still wouldn't have done much for me if it didn't.

Runbow looks okay but not too excited about another party running game. I mean we just got Speed Runners.

Guess Kane & Lynch 2 will be decent.

I know the hacked NES can run games that are still in RAR format, the biggest N64 that I know of is Resident Evil 2, and it looks like that is only 63 megabytes. They had to compress the pre-rendered cutscenes and a lot of music for a game that was two 700 mb CDs on PlayStation, I don't know what would be bigger.

 
Yeah, GWG is pretty weak this month and I don't even have any of the Xbone games for once (knew Ubi would GWG Grow Up eventually). I guess last month was extra good because of E3 and the Japanese replacement GWG.

I am glad I didn't bother buying Kane & Lynch 2 or LEGO Pierats digitally at least.

Fingers crossed for a Japan freebie that doesn't suck?

Book deal is pretty sweet too.
