Here is a list of all the current and upcoming Xbox Live Marketplace Sales for the USA. This includes the Deal of the Week, KINECT Central sale item(s), and any other 3rd-party sales or promotions. I'm not sure why, but I feel compelled to state that the recent XBLM sales have been terrible, and also that Instant Game Collection games are really just rentals. Also, does anyone know when next week's sales are going to be announced?

 
The PS+ stuff is a bit of a rental but given the choice of playing the games they'd give me as a rental then deleting them afterwards or getting 6 year old games free forever, I'll take the rentals because they save me money.  There have been half a dozen games free that I was going to buy, it's saved me money.  Free with gold hasn't given me any game that I didn't already have and I planned on buying.

Am I? The collector mentality behind that complaint is so silly. Play the game while your subscribed, enjoy it for a bit, then move on. I don't understand the fixation with "OMG, but I won't have it in the future!" You have it now, play it or ignore it. Quite simple.

I've had Plus for about a year now and have barely given a second thought to ANY of the games. The discounts have caught my interest and gaming dollar more than some randomness like Saints Row or NBA Jam.

Huh did the Grab a new Game section from Xbox Rewards disappear? Was going to play AC 4 a lot to get some credits but can't see it anymore...

Usually gets announced on the Tuesday the sale is starting so it should be on November 5th.

Unless Major Nelson is busy with the Xbox One Tour, in which case it may be late.

You are now arguing something different from what you initially did. You implied before that people wanted a game they could trade in, while in actuality the big complaint is that you take replay ability away from those PS Plus offerings. Add in the backlog syndrome that many people face and Games with Gold does have some advantages over PS Plus.

I really want to pick up the Rally expansion for Forza... but I find it offputting that I'd spend more on the DLC than I did on the game.

 
Quick warning about Skulls of the Shogun. I've read that some of the achievements can become unobtainable if you play too far ahead on a different device (the game uses same save for WP8, 360, and W8 each with separate achievement lists). Even if you delete the save and start fresh, some achievements may still not unlock. I'd recommend being cautious with which achievements you unlock when or just get it for one device. It's on sale for $2 on WP8 currently. Maybe they fixed it, but I couldn't find anybody saying it was fixed on 360A.

Finally got a chance to play Rayman Legends and it was everything I expected and more. Very happy, especially when the Castle Rock level started. Was not expecting that. Also tried AC4 from Redbox. I normally hate AC games, but this one is something else. I almost went out and bought it at full price today after playing for about 5 hours.

 
Assassin's Creed games always have a special place in my heart and by that I mean I can always get them for $10 within a year or less.

That's a big reason why I didn't buy it today. I'm hoping to get it for $20 around Black Friday. This is the first AC I feel that is worth more than $10.

I'm sure it will hit that mark or in the very least (or most?) $30, but I also have the weird CAG shame where I can't feel comfortable paying more then $15 for an annual franchise. Also Brotherhood was the last one I think I fully enjoyed.

Currently, the compilation is exclusively for EMEA countries (Europe, Middle East, and Africa)

A compilation like this, even if it comes out here, hardly seems worth it without all the DLC included.

Dance Central 2 and 3, otherwise Just Dance...well, Just Dance and every other Ubisoft game is like Guitar Hero when compared to Rock Band/Dance Central.

 
Ughh....my 360 won't recognize the wireless adapter.  It was torn apart, and I made the mistake of unpluging the built in wireless adapter while the Xbox was running.  I doubt I need a new adapter, just need to figure out how to reset it.  May not be providing the USB connection power (its a 360 S).
